Arronai sat next to Liana and turned to face her looking her in the eye. A serious expression was on his face as he sat with the girl. His guards went on either side of them making sure no one came down the hall to disturb them.
"Your skill is quite an impressive feat for one your age with no one to properly train you. My congratulations to you. But there is far you still must go. I can help you with such training as no one else can. Though you must choose which path your magic will take you. What do want to do with your gift in this life, child? What drives your ambition?"
Driessen nodded and accepted the flask with thanks. He drank it slower than the first but it was still gone quickly.
"I can carry the message back. I would not want your sister traveling alone with this blasted war going on. I will return with Aragahst in the cover of night so as not to alert the Fey of whom they regard as an enemy on their lands."
Producing a map from a scroll Driessen uncurled it and held it out before him to Thomas.
"Point to where and I will bring him."

(Sorry for the lack of posting, but Homework has been eating all my time, especially with quarter grades right around the blasted corner... =/)
Lianna thought for a moment, then finally nodded. "I want to duel Carthose," She said with a smile. "Don't get me wrong, i kow that may be a feat well unobtainable, but i have to try. The Arcane Watcher is the most powerful mage to live. Even knowing im worth the honor is enough for me. Im the only human mage to walk the world in centuries." Looking at the guards, she tried to maintain her cool. "I have had no choice but to train on my own. Honestly, im beyond basics though. I know you yourself may be able to train me and hone my abilities, but that book you have upstairs is helpful also," Knowing Aaroni would be surprised, she smiled and elaborated. "The Tome of The Watcher, only three copies ever were written by this Immortal. You have on upstairs in a glass case. You fear it because it stands against you and your people, being that of life. That book will help me preserve life, since i already have attributes to that of an Immortal," She said, her eyes deep and penetrating. Looking in Aaroni's eyes, she seemed relaxed.
Thomas looked the map and pointed. "The Blue Moon forest is a fitting area. The Fey usually dont send patrols in there, so we should be safe." Looking around, he leaned closer to Driessen. "I may be bound by loyalty to these Fey, but by Cod of The Knight; Those whom thou hast known for the length of the Knights quest, is more valuable than any Kingdom the Knight pledges his loyalty." Leaning back again, he placed his hand on the centaurs chest. "Godspeed to you Driessen. Let Aragahst be safe," He said.

"An interesting goal. And one that could take you into the very heart of darkness if you were to despair at any point after this."
Arronai's mind went to the book. He had brought it here and sealed centuries ago so that none would ever loose it's secrets again. It had drawn him into darkness once and he feared for any that wanted to learn of its hidden power. as Lianna looked at him he kept his guard up, thought about it for a moment, then let some of his walls slip so she could see that scars it had left on his soul. The guards shifted uncomfortably since these walls that were dropped let her see into them as well since they were connected to their king.
"I am very well acquainted with the Tome as are they. And my fears of the book are far different than that of my people. I held it in my possession for longer than any should. It was brought here since my allies are not as inclined to open it as I and my people are. If you are to duel Cathose then there is much to be done."
Glancing at each of the guards backs then back at Lianna they moved down the hall to the ends and looked to see if anyone was around. Arronai's eyes were now cold. The air around them seemed to chill as his bright eyes looked that of slate. Their breath could be seen in front of them.
"I have promised the queen that I will train you as quickly as I can for the upcoming... Disturbance. Evil moves upon us. Are you ready to take anothers life as they would take yours?"
Nodding, Driessen rolled the map up and put it back in his bag. He returned the gesture to Thomas placing his own hand on the humans chest.
"May the gods be with us, Thomas."
Squeezing out of the room Driessen went outside immediately and started galloping off the way he had come faster than before. His large legs and muscles carried him out of sight and earshot within moments of departure. The hair on the back of his neck prickled as he pushed faster feeling as if a great weight were upon him. But his feet were light as he left himself in the hands of the gods above.

A unworried smile crossed Lianna's face. "If you think i am not worried about this, then your about as insane as I am. That Tome is not evil, but knowledge," Looking at the book, she seemd impervious to the cold, her red hair shining. "'Knowledge is power, guard it well. For without knowledge, the world is an unstable, uncontrollable place.' Words of the Demented, Volumes of The Lost Age. If any are ready to read that Tome, it is I," Turning, her hand was clenched around her staff. "Anytime Ice King,"

Nodding grimly he stood and offered his hand to the girl politely.
"Then let us begin, young one. There is much to read in that Tome. And I still have to release it without anyone knowing."
Arronai smiled to her as she got up. One guard moved towards them and bowed to Liana respectfully then continued on to the library where the Tome was at to make sure no one was in there or would be. The other waited to flank them bowing to Liana as they passed just as the other had.

Walking with Arronai, Lianna smiled. Finally, a test of her will would be put up, and she was ready. The Tome had eluded most mortals for centuries, and for her to find it made her shake with excitement. As they entered the library, she looked at him and nodded; determination and resolve carved into her face, "Lets begin then,"
Thomas cut through he dummy with ease, his blade an arc of death. Sighing, he sat down. It was hard; no decent sparring partner for miles. And his home was under seige without a doubt. The world was a broken place, and the only thing he could ask himself, "Can it be fixed?"

Fortuna walked with her brother and talked. But as they talked, her mind went to Aaronai. Why did she have such feelings for him? But then that mind of her went from him and straight to about another thing. She was queen yes, but law did say she needed a king... a husband. But who could it be? "Damn..." she said under her breathe.

Odessa the lady general of the fey had entered the castle,her footsteps bearly audiable in the corridors only a small tap could be heard as she walked.She was headed to find her lady queen,Fortuna to discuss plans for the kingdom and maybe talk a bit.Odessa always worried about the young queen,them being friends since childhood.she had always been comfortable around her and owed her a great debt when she complied to let odessa keep her adoptive son.
Odessa kept searching and stopped a maid to ask her for the queen.she nodded when the maid told her the queen was with her brother Hellios.Odessa had some personal rivalry with him,them both being the kingdoms generals but other than that she had respect for him.and so she set off to search for them.
