"How ... interesting." Drake said looking at the necklace. "I guess I am like you! I have many things to lock curses away." He lifts up his shirt to reveal an odd looking tattoo on his stomach. He pulls his shirt down.

Drake grins. "Though I guess you are different in a good way. You are not a vampire." He grins even wider.

"This is true." He smiles. His eyes slowly are turning more and more red as he is talking. He glances at his bag which was thrown on the ground. He nervously put his hands over his mouth.

She lifted an eyebrow and looked at Drake, clearly wondering what was wrong with his mouth and eyes, but instead she ignored it for awhile, "You're an excellent student, Drake." she said, from seemingly out of the blue.

"Why thank you. I try my hardest to learn." He smiled showing his fangs even more then normal.. they seemed to be growing bigger. He nervously touched his mouth again.

Drakes face was very pale. "I am sorry.. I am just very thirsty." He glances over at his bag. "Dont worry.. I wont attack anyone.. I have blood packets..." He laughs silently, his eyes turning a deep red. He walks over to his bag and in one motion rips 3 blood packets out of his bag

Drakes eyes turn an intense red as he watches her wipe the blood. "Yea.. I have.. it undercontrol.." He bites into one of the blood packets. He draws back, discusted, but his fangs shrank and his eyes get lighter. "Its not good cold" He grins at Angie

"I figured. I know it sounds a little odd, but for someone who isn't a vampire, I kind of like the taste of blood. Not as much as you, I'm sure, though." she said. Her wrist continued to bleed terribly.

"Not odd..." He said staring at her wrist. "Not odd at all... May I ask what happened?" He said wiping his mouth slightly with a hankercheif.

Mikhail gave a slightly wistful smile at the pair Drake and Angie made. All their talk of curses and talismans and magic was making him feel slightly ill; not for the first time, he lamented the fact that he was born an Ala. A small part of him felt almost as if he should apologize to the vampire and his teacher over all the hardships they'd been through.
However, as always, Mikhail kept his mouth shut. He instead groped blindly into his shoulderbag, producing a small sketchpad but no drawing utensils.

"It's my cursed mark. Each deathchild has a slightly different one. It has to do with my power levels. You kinda get used to the pain, though, so that's not the big issue." She wiped it again so that the details were more obvious. In an elegant writing, it said "Death" with a cresent moon beside it.
The 4 other deathchildren had the word "Death" on their wrists with different marks; a heart, a spirit, etc.
She looked over at Mikhail without thinking; like a habit. She realized he was still there, but for some reason it hadn't completely occurred to her. He seemed fine, though, so she looked at Drake again.
