Cris let out a loud wolf howl the could be heard all across the world. Then the ground started shaking roughly, a black and red aura emanated from Cris' body. A spiritual looking werewolf appeared ghost like from Cris' back. "Just tell me when the real killing starts" he said.

As Nathen cleaved the Heartless in two, Xigbar fired the charge shot. It hit the left one, breaking off a few pieces, but otherwise only stunning it. "Damn...How're you doing, Xashowd?" "I'm fine, but these things just keep coming...how much Darkness would it take for something like this to happen?" Xashowd said as he sliced another Frostshadow in two. "A lot. But something like this wouldn't really be possible unless..." Xigbar went over the possibility in his head. He did not reach a favorable conclusion. Xashowd saw the look on his face. "What's wrong?" "The Heartless may have somehow found the Heart of the World. If that happened, then the darkness emanating from it would be enough to cause this to happen, and without much effort on their part." Xigbar explained. "How do we stop it?" Xashowd asked. "Lock the Keyhole. If found, anyone with a Keyblade can do so. At least, there hasn't been one so far that can't." Xigbar said. "Well, why don't I try to find it. If I can lock it, then this battle will end." Xashowd told him. "Those weren't our orders. We were to find the cause of the rapid growth in Heartless." Xigbar replied. "Well, we've done that. But I'm sure Xemnas wouldn't want to see this world destroyed." Xashowd told him. Xigbar smiled. "You don't really know what Xemnas is capable of...but you make a good point. Too much opportunity to be found here, and I'm sure he wouldn't want to waste that...Still, your Keyblade isn't attuned to Hearts." "But it can still lock and unlock things. I may not be able to collect Hearts, but I can at least lock a Keyhole." Xashowd said. "Dude, that's a big IF you're gonna push. A Keyhole isn't an ordinary household item, it directly connects to the Heart of the World. The Heart, which your Keyblade isn't attuned to. There's a big chance you wouldn't be able to lock it because of that. Let one of these other Keybladers handle it. Better safe then sorry." Xigbar explained. "Alright...but I hope they can do it quickly. I don't think we can spare any more time!" Xashowd replied, conceding to Xigbar's point. He used Fira on a few more Frostshadows, though he saw more coming at him, and most of them starting to combine with the two bigger ones...

Yeah Xashowd thought. We are definitely running out of time...

he then waited for the right chance to strike stabbing the sleeping lion into the ground

Cris jumped in the fiery purple circle, struggling through the flames of course, and picked up Mary's body. He made her eat a red leaf causing her to arise from her unconsciousness. "Are you ok?" he asked, the flames suddenly dissapaered.

Cris helped Mary up and summoned his keyblade. The keyblade still did not want to cooperate, but Cris aimed carefully at the heartless. Cris then charged the beam.
