Sunrise's mouth was shaped in a perfect O of surprise.
"You found out a MONTH AGO?!?!?" Sunrsie screeched. "You never told me! I thought you were my friend, I thought you trusted me!" Sunrise said, her eyes full of tears of anger and sadness that her friend hadn't even told her what was probably the most improtant thing that would ever happen to either of them.

"I'm so sorry Sun." Emily was near tears herself. "I thought I told you I was carrying a baby girl. It was the day after I broke up with Andrew."

Sunrise closed her eyes and took a long deep breath. "No...I'm sorry...I shouldn't be upsetting you in your condition," she said apologetically. She wrapped her arms around Emily comfortingly.
"I'll forgive you if you at least make me godmother," she said jokingly.

Sunrise pulled a tissue out of thin air and handed it to her weepy friend.
"I've never been good at confrontation anyway," she said with a small laugh. "You would've won even if I had actually blown up."

"This last month I've been more prone to crying but I've fought to hold it." Emily took the tissue and began drying her eyes. "Andrew doesn't even know yet, and I don't want him knowing."

"When Madam Pomphrey told me I thought I was going to faint. My parents are going to kill me. On top of having eight children, in about eight months they'll have a grandaughter." Emily laughed slightly. "That's why I've been up even earlier than I was before, and not able to eat much breakfast. The stupid morning sickness is really annoying."

"If I don't tell them about Andrew I'll die." Emily laughed at her friends attempt to get her mind off things. "That's why I'm not writing to them about it. I figure the best way to tell them is to actually show them when I go home for Christmas. Are you still coming to my place this holiday?"
