Chase chuckled. "Then I shall remain as I am now, Hidden from your view. If you change your mind, I will be glad to reveal myself to you." He told Karin, sitting next to her.

Karin's eye followed the path of the voice as he was sitting next to her. Her head was turned to him and nodded at him. Karin liked him hidden from her view but sad that it wasn't her mother who was her guardian angel

Chase chuckled and put his arm around Karin, allowing her to feel it. "I am very sorry to disappoint you, but I will let you know that I shall protect you from any danger, no matter how large or small. I hope that my kindness will help make up for me not being your mother..." He said, looking into the sky.

Karin felt his arm around her petite body. "Thank you. I appreciate it," she said softly to him. She felt the warmth coming from him. She would have leaned against him if she wasn't worried about falling over.

Chase removed his arm from Karin, and stood up. "Remember, I will always be with you, and whenever you're alone, yo may talk with me. My only warning is that I will not respond when there are other people around, alright?" He said to her, making sure she understood his rule.

Her eye watched him as if she could see her angel. She nodded showing she understood her rule and what it meant. She could only talk to him when she was alone.

Chase studied Karin for a moment, and then grew bold. "You know, Karin...I think you look very beautiful. Your eye patch only makes you more unique." He told her honestly.

Her eye blinked at him a bit baffled why he would say that. "Why would you say that to me?" she asked him a bit curious to why he would say such a thing to her.

Chase blushed, and he was glad Karin couldn't see him. "I...I just wanted you to know that. It may not mean anything to you, but I just thought you should know." He told her bashfully.

Karin was completely obvious when people liked her. If she wasn't she would probably hear it in his voice. She blinked her one eye not meaning what he was saying to her.

Chase coughed nervously. "uuh...shall we go? It's beginning to get late. You may want to get home..." He said shyly. Chase didn't know what to do now, so he just watched Karin.

Karin shook her head as she laid back down recalling memories of her mother with this home. She didn't want to go home or to work now. She wanted her mother and her guardian angel couldn't do anything of the things her mother did that brought a smile to her face.

Chase sighed. "If there is nothing I can currently do, would you like me to go away for a short while, or shall I remain here?" He asked, wondering if she even wanted him around.

Karin looked down at the ground shaking her head. "No. I like you there. I know your not my mother and you can't do anything she use to do. Can you hold me or something? If you can't I understand," she whispered softly. She knew he couldn't but if he could that would be nice.
