[R]eflections Vice Captain

Angela began to sweat quite a lot as the temperature rose, it was getting so hot that she was getting burns all over her body. Luckily once the blast fired it was enough to shatter the chain and even at only 25% power it would do some nice damage to Neppa. She retreated from the heat to high above it where most of the light was converging from his tactic. It again gathered in her arms as she aimed both hands down at him, she was panting slightly. "I'm sorry Captain, but I can no longer allow you to stand in my way. Its over now." She frowned as not only were her arms glowing, a golden orb was charging in either hand. "Pétalo de Oro Cero" Instantly two golden beams fired towards the captain, followed by hundreds of golden petals, following behind the two cero's were two huge blasts of white energy. These were 75% more powerful than the ones the Captain had taken earlier. As soon as the two blasts launches she disappeared via sonido, reappearing on the ground where her plants were. "Fruto de Vida" Instantly a few flowers turned into a delicious looking fruit. Before the outcome of her attack could be verified she picked off two fruit and ate one herself, which instantly healed her burns. The other was for Neppa, a show of good faith that would hopefully show him that she was telling the truth about the small girl.

Irie's expression remained calm, yet she was shocked as she was saved from a deathly attack. "Please stay in the sidelines and recover your wound." She said, her eyes focusing at one direction. "Aoi-ha." Irie snapped her fingers, blue flame suddenly appeared on the tip of her index finger. It grew bigger and bigger as she released her more of her reiatsu, a strong blast of reiatsu was felt from her. The fire guided her, it revealed a little of the Espada's shadow. Her dull expression shifted to a determined smirk. Irie disappeared swiftly in thin air, the blue fire remained beside the captain. If the flame's blaze remained, that means she's still fighting and if it faded out of the blue, then she has been defeated. Her light was her zanpaktou, the glow growing more and more as she ascended to the enemy.
"Turn them into ashes, Shinse na Aoi" Irie finally released her shikai, a strong burst of reiatsu was felt. The white cloth that was on her zanpaktou's hilt extended and the silver blade became black. Blue aura surrounded her. She stopped not far from Salem, she didn't want to go near yet. So she decided to whip her blade out, as massive blue flame emerged from the navy-blue blade. The blue flame flew swiftly to Salem's direction, she was just sure that he was there. The light guided her, she hoped that what she did was right.

The captain was very late. He got a little caught up in training and reading, like usual, and he hoped no one was hurt in his absence. Takashi flash stepped at great speed but even at this speed it wasn't close to his fastest, as he needed to conserve energy, not knowing what he could run into when he got to South Rukongai. Takashi spotted some people in the distance as he entered Rukongai. He instantly recognized the Captain in battle, Neppa, but who he was fighting was unknown by Takashi. He was silent in his flash stepping, staying out of sight and he kept his reiatsu quite low. When he saw the Captain of Squad 9 he instantly flash stepped to her right side, his Captain's haori blowing with the wind and showing off his Squad 7 insignia. "Hello Karixa." Takashi said with a slight smile imprinted on his face. "I'm sorry I'm late. I got a little caught up in my office." he said apologetically. Takashi surveyed the area looking at all the people. Takashi's expression instantly got serious and much more Captain-like than his previous one. "What is the situation here? Is everyone alright?" Takashi was a little worried for his fellow Shinigami, even though he had faith in their abilities.

The amount of energy Neppa was pouring out siphoned some of his concentration away. Though his slice missed its mark, it lowered the attack to his right side. Sadly, his lack of concentration broke Netujyoubi's chain for a short while, just enough for her to escape. As she flew up into the air, he suspected that she would pull a trick like she had before. Right before she fired, Neppa used a Shunpou to remove himself from the area, leaving the ground where he stood burning with remnants of his flame to hopefully confuse her.
Now, when he returned, Neppa returned behind her as she ate the fruit. Watching all the wounds he had caused to dissipate didn't sit well with him, especially as his fire began to slough off of him with his waning power. He only had one true thing left that he could do, and didn't like the fact that is was Kidou. Raising his left hand, a black energy began spewing from it as his fire moved towards his hand. "I told you to concede, but this will be your fate. Hadou #90: Kurohitsugi." The black energy began to leap from his hand and form the large, dreadful, black box around Angela.
[Just for future reference: Netujyoubi's chain is par of Netsujyoubi, like the chain and half moon blade on Hyouiinmaru. But since it works ok, Neppa will take a hit for plot.]

"Bad Shinigami" Salem said from behind her with a small grin upon his face. He had left the shadow just seconds after she attacked and used sonido to get behind her. "This is not your fight, don't you Shinigami have any shame" he chuckled softly and raised his hand and formed a bala which then he shot right at her back. The Espada hoped this would get the girl out of the fight, he wasn't done with the Captain yet and he hated being interrupted.

Minato thought about Irie's actions, they were clearly selfless, but instead of thinking of them as her repaying him than he would think of it as her need for experience. As her Captain he wouldn't be happier if his Lieutenant wanted to fight someone for experience... but he had already wounded the enemy... would it even be close to shameless to let her take his fight just because of a few injuries... he let it go. He wasn't worried about his pride, he would watch for a while, and considering on how she was holding out, he may or may not take the fight back. The Espada was trying to get her out of his way, thinking her insignificant compared to him most likely, just to get to him. His first attack against her was a close range Bala... he didn't think it would be successfull though... she was after all HIS Lieutenant.

Irie was alert, she knew this will happen but the bala was unexpected. As she noticed Salem behind her, she somersaulted immediately before getting hit. She did received a hit from it, but only on the sleeve of her shinigami robe. As her feet landed on the ground, she immediately slashed the air, releasing a wave of blue fire to Salem. She was too weak to fight an Espada, but at least she was trying. She was of course afraid that she might fail her captain. Irie always knew that in the end, she'll be the one receiving one of the strongest blow. She is too humble to accept it. At least distracting the Espada would let her captain have more time of recovering his wounds. Even a slight attack that would weaken their enemy, no her captain's enemy.

"To slow" Salem said once again from behind with a small chuckle and swung four of eight blades down at her. With the other four he thrust towards her back trying to impale her or cut her into ribbons. Which ever works.

Irie's eyes widened, feeling four blades on her back. With all her might she evaded the other four, but upon trying to evade some, two blades left a scar on her arm and cheek. Her eyes narrowed with pain as she jumped backwards, removing one blade from her back. A smirk crept on her defeated facade. "Aoi Tsuki." She chanted silently, her voice in monotone.
she caught him, she had cast an illusion. Whatever Salem's greatest fear is, he'll have to face.
(( Info: Aoi Tsuki (Blue Moon) - This ability creates an illusion. The enemy will experience brutal death in the illusion. When the illusion is finished the enemy is already dead, but the body doesn't have any wounds nor does it shows how he died in the illusion. (To avoid Aoi Tsuki, you have to close your eyes and sing a lullaby. Whatever lullaby it is, it can stop the illusion since the zanpaktou will be confused) ))

Salem chuckled softly and toke a step forward towards her and raised his blades one more. "Fool" he grinned and swung the blades down once again. Due to his power he was able to see right through the Illusion and he hoped to catch her off guard with not being trapped in the thing. As he swung the blades down he once again thrust the other four blades forward to stab her in the stomach. "You need to learn respect!" he laughed darkly.

Blood spat on the ground. Everything became black. Her head bowed, blood dripping on her thighs.
"I won't allow this."
Her voice echoed. Irie lifted her face, it was blank. No eyes or mouth, it was plain blank. "I maybe be reckless, Espada, but I won't allow this." Her voice was heard again, it was an illusion, it did work.
The blood that spat on the ground formed Irie's figure, it was really her. Salem was too strong for her, but at least she could do the illusion even though it was only for a short time. The female figure became clear, Irie was bleeding but she did not mind. There is wound on her abdomen, it was when Salem stabbed her through her illusion. Irie appeared on his back then slashed his back, regarding his Hierro, Shinse na Aoi is a very sharp zanpaktou. At least a huge scar would weaken him a bit. Irie immediately jumped backwards, to avoid any surprise attacks from him again. Her eyes narrowed painfully, she was enduring all the wounds.

Just wanna repaint the scenery Mother frowned. Another one of the shinigami was fighting, presumably she was fighting Salem. His reiatsu was elevated as well, whereas that of the Captain her suboordinate had been fighting was no longer at a fighting elevation, but he wasn't dead. That wasn't something Mother liked.
Her red eyes slid over to Neppa. He was distracted right now, now would be her chance to dispose of him and go to help Salem. She raised her left hand and swept it horizontally from front to back, most likely slicing a few of the Captain's internal organs if he didn't try to dodge. She smirked in Angela's direction and sonidoed away stopping outside of the house where Salem's spiritual pressure emanated from.
She peeked in, her sense of the reiatsu in the house telling her what was happening instead of her eyes. "Hmm. How cowardly of you, Captain... Leaving your Lieutenant to fight your battles." she said, a rather demonic smirk marring her petite features. Play the A chord on a night with nothing to do

Salem had reached behind his back to block her attack without the illusion taking a bit of a effect on him. Sure she might have thought so but it wouldn't due to his power of The Night Eye. "Stupid stupid Shinigami your little illusions can't work on me learn that right now. Nothing can faze this eyes of mine" he said as he turned around and charged up a bala in one hand which shot off. In his other hand he charged up a Cero which he sent shortly afterward.
