She simply stared at him for a moment with a calm expression. "I didn't come here to fight; however I will if I need to." she said in a gentle tone. "But I think I'm going to guess your Salazar's brother?" she smirked.

Maya looked beneath her hood at the man, knowing he couldn't see her face, she studied him. She felt no threat from him, at the moment. Tilting her head, she reached out to him with her thoughts, "Forgive my intrusion," she said through telepathy. "But I knocked and nobody answered. I am Pr - I mean, I am Maya."

Emilian smiled and said "You'll have to find out. Perhaps another time? I am afraid I must be going." He stopped for a moment. "How about a gift for the nice young lady?" He took his dagger and placed it in Hikaru's hand. "Bye bye." He turned around and walked away.
Salazar examined the guest, she was a telepath. He had seen stranger in his days. "Might I ask what you are doing here?" He said letting up his guard slightly.

Hikaru watched his moves carefully as Emilian approached her. When he reached to put the dagger in her hand, she blinked a few times, a little confused. She took the dagger and looked at for a second. It could be a trap for all she knew, but she decided to keep it. Maybe Salazar would know something about it. She turned her attention back to Emilian as he spoke his goodbyes to her. "Hmm, whats makes you think I'm nice?" she smirked.

Kohaku moved along the walls, into corridoors, and seeping along the floor, searching for that God-awful smell, and where a feint sound of breathing was eminating from...
He entered a large bedroom, underneath the crack of a door, and under the bed, where he finally materialized into his human form, and listened to this man, who he knew was Salazar.
((I'm sorry I couldn't get back on, we had a blackout in my neighborhood untill 5 a.m. and I was asleep...))

Maya hesitated, wondering if she should tell him, "Uhh... I was just passing through and I saw this manor..." she said. "I hope you don't mind.."

Emilian said these last few words and left. "Lucky guess, take care of that dagger." He walked on back to the city. "Bye bye now"
Salazar sighed. This woman wasn't the one that Hikaru had sensed. "Sorry, thought you were someone else. Feel free to stay here for a bit, I have a small matter to attend to." He ran past her to the door and went outside. He saw Hikaru and rushed over to her. "Find it?"

Maya turned as he ran past her, curiosity taking over her again, she leaned out the door and saw a distance away a female and another male walking away.

Kohaku followed Salazar, as his shadow, waiting for the perfect moment to get him alone. It was hard for Kohaku to match Salazar's exact movements, and he wasn't Salazar's real shadow, only his own, connected to Salazar. He wasn't skilled enough yet to become a perfect shadow doppleganger...

Maya saw something move in the shadow of man who had spoken to her. She walked towards them, looking into the shadow, "Why are you hiding?" she asked, her thoughts brushing his mind.

Kohaku couldn't speak in his shadow form, so he motioned an 'X' with his fingers over his mouth, telling the woman to be quiet. He began mimicking Salazar's moves again...

She tilted her head at the man he was shadowing, "He cannot hear me at all, even if he is a mind reader."

Kohaku moved his shadow, and attached it to the wall, moving alongside it.
He moved onto an open door and motioned her to follow him into the room. He moved into the library, as it were, and materialized into his human self and waited in a dark corner.
((I can't find my headphones -you lucky person, you- I have to use these bulky speakers that were for my old Windows 98...))

Salazar came upon Hikaru and saw the dagger in her hand. He could put two and two together. The dagger was a Neri family heirloom. Emilian had been here. Without notice Salazar ran after Emilian. He could probably catch up to him in the forest.

Hikaru simply stared in his direction as he disappeared from view. Her trance was broken, however, when she heard Salazar coming. She turned around quickly and hid the dagger behind her back without thinking. She didn't know why she hiding it really, but it was her first reaction. "Wait! Salazar!" she called after him.
