Mizuku swallowed. "You guys can... cry if you need to... There's no point in holding it back. We're all... friends... here." He choked on the word friends, a tear swelling in his eye, but was able to keep a straight, confident face.

"Crying is for the sad people of the world!" Emiel said confidently. "look at me!" his smile seemed to crumble. "I've got great friends and I get three square meals a day..." his brow furrowed. "...And..." Emiel gulped. "I don't have to be alone!" his voice was warm and joyful, but tears streamed down his face. He hung his head so his hair would cover his eyes.

Mizuku felt a sudden urge to run over to Emiel and hug him tight, and to stop him from crying. But only as a friend. He didn't think Koji would respond well to that, however... His mind wavered between comforting a friend and standing tall next to his boyfriend...

"I.. I don't really know what to say." Koji said. Unable to hold back his tears, he started to cry. In him, his heart ached, but he didn't know why. It was true that he didn't know what to say because there were words that Koji wasn't able to express. Again, he keeps all this to himself and puts on a tearful, but content countenance.

Emiel rubbed his eyes furiously and popped his head back up, his cheeks red and his smile bright. "I...guess I didn't have much of a good reason to doubt you after all!" his smile was pained, but genuine. Most of the time his smiles were just bright and childish, but when he really smiled, when he was really happy, it seemed to make the clouds part and its warmth on your skin could make you cry tears of pure joy.

Mizuku's head was swarming with so many different emotions that he couldn't take it. He grabbed his head in confusion, tears rolling down his cheeks, and began running from the classroom as fast as his juvenile legs would carry him.

"Ehh? Mizuku...kun..." Emiel said softly, but he was much too slow. Mizuku was already out the door and then some. "K-Koji...maybe you should go talk to him...?" Emiel said awkwardly. "I'm not sure I'm fit to do it..."

Mizuku was already out of the classroom, headed toward the lane, his intentions set on jumping into the lake in Sakura Park and staying there until the bubbles stopped.

Koji, wiping tears from his face, notices Mizuku darting out of the classroom, unexpectedly.
"H-hey!! Wait, Mizu-kun." he yelled. "S-sorry, but I have to go after him. I... I'm really glad that you guys were able to sort this out.." he added, his voice, now morose.
Looking away from Emiel, he dashes out of the classroom, not chasing after Mizuku anymore. He just wanted to be alone for now.

They were both gone now, Emiel had been left in the dust. "Better this way..." Emiel said light heartedly to himself as he made his way, coinsidentally, to Sakura Lake. COINSIDENTALLY.

Koji continued to run until he got to the dormitory. He heads to his room, which is the only place he could think of to be alone.
