So I was reading up on St. Patrick and his day and found this about the colors worn...
According to history, blue is truly his color, more of a dark blue actually. Green was believed to be associated into the day from the phrase "the wearing of the green" which was associated with wearing a shamrock on ones clothing. St. Patrick used the shamrock as a way to explain the holy trinity to the pre-Christian Irish.
Orange was worn by some Protestants as a mark of defiance. Orange is believed to be derived from William of Orange, the king of England, Scotland and Ireland who defeated King James II in the Battle of the Boyne near Dublin. His victory would ensure Protestant military dominance on the island. The Orange in his name refers to a provenance in southern France. This is also why orange appears on the Irish flag.
Just thought that was interesting...

green's a cute color though.
I like lime green and neon green especially.
Oooh and I love it when the green is together with blue and purple.
