Yokome hears others in the okiya greeting the new guest. Yokome quickly walks into her room and puts her lovely stringed insturment away. She glides over the the their room and greets the new girl as well.

((OOC: All maiko should now report to the school, since classes are opening up, to take their classes. By the end of the week, each maiko should have picked 2 classes, at the VERY least, to roleplay in. These will help prepare you for when you become a geisha.))

Iyasu smiled warmily to the new maid. "I just had a cup of tea with Kyoku-san. Thank you very much though. I'm sure my room mate might want something," She said. "If you'll excuse me, I would like to finish getting my room organized."

Kikaru returned from her classes, and returned to her room. She brushed her hair again and straightened her kimono before going back out to look for fellow maiko, or even a geisha to speak with. She had no onee-chan, or any friends, but she would not mind making a few.

Okaa-san sat in her room quietly going through her account books. She slowly slid open her door and called out for a maid.
"I would like a cup of tea, please!" She called softly. She then settled herself back onto the tatmi matting and waited.

Kikaru heard Okaa-san call, and waited to see if any maid would answer her call. She stood in her doorway, wondering where all the maiko were. At least some were here, she had heard chatting nearby.

Yokome sat quietly in her room, reading a book on the intense tea ceremony. She glanced up from her book and slid her bedroom door open. The okiya seemed unusually quiet. "Is anyone here that would like to chat or study with me?" she called out in a quiet voice. No one seemed to answer.

She bowed, a piece of bright red hair falling from the pile on her head to infront of her eyes, "I am Mameo, nice to meet you."

Kikaru bowed polietly. "My name is Kikaru. It is nice to meet you as well." She seemed a little suprised by the other maiko's red hair. "..are you new here as well?"
