Shooting into the air, the captain keeps her wings in. Using her psychic ability to levitate herself, she is able stay aloft, floatnig around in front of Arenger. Getting an idea, she swirls her hands about, a bit of navy fire appearing ad growing larger the more she spins her hands about. Casting it downwards, she allows it to get caught on Arenger's axe, sending up a torrent of flames. The captain shoots around in the sky, staying clear of such. Arenger, on the other hand, would now be caught in a whirlwind of the captain's fire, not a very pleasant place to be.

Knex applauded the battle in search for more mayhem. "It appears the viking is the underdog to this behemoth of the azure inferno." Knex compared the captain to. Not to say he was comparing appearance, but rather power. and judging by the insults the viking threw it would be wise not to call such a character short. "Good show." He cheered on the battle, but his cheering somehow started to become not so much to himself as his words seemed to have grown too loud.

Arenger feels the heat and know that flames like this die n one place and one place where he could hide. At first one could think that Arenger fell into one of his own holes. For as he took a step to the side the ground broke as the thin ice does in the early winter. Using his axe Arenger slams it into the ground and creates another set of Holes. Now able to create a tunnel system. underground his breathing is hard. Using the same power in this amount and so shortly behind each other was a strain on his mental power. His strength would make him able to fight on. Now if only Forni would top flying and land it would be far more easy to fight her. Well at least now he was under ground and waiting for Forni to either land on the ground or have her jump into the tunnels of Arenger.

Loki was flying when he felt a surge of his mistresses powers and he decided to investigate what was doing this. Loki flew up near the captain then settled on the ground not worryed about geting hit by a attack the only attack that could hurt him would be the one from the captain herself. Loki looked up to his mistress and sent her a message that no matter how strong of a psychic there was would not be able to listen to it because it was a special wave length between guardian and mistress. 'What has your feathers in a bunch mistress.' Loki asked and the captain would definatley be able to tell the smile in the beasts voice.

*brile was not planning to get caught in the cross fire so he decided he would search for the captain another time until then he would just randomly explore until he found something or someone.....either way he would eventually find the captain he then walked away in the opposite direction not knowing or caring which direction he was going*

Knex began to notice that he wasn't the only on who was cheering on this battle. He saw on the other side of where he stood was a wolf-like character who seemed to be focused on the azure fire bender. Knex decided to make his way around the battlefield and approach this character. He didn't see any consequences in approaching him, but you could never be too sure who to trust. He got into speaking distance with him and decided to converse. He didn't think he'd be able to understand him, for he looked almost like a pet of this fire bender in conflict with the viking, but he felt safe speaking openly to it. "Some battle these two are having, eh?" Knex asked the wolf. He was skeptical about talking to such a thing, but he felt a little more comfortable at least conversing towards someone besides himself.

Instead of swooping in to attack, the captain merely hovers in the air. Honestly, she could stay up there for as long as she wished. Swooping around in circles like a predator, the captain keeps her wings in until she can feel her psychic energy beginning to drain. Which, of course, wouldn't be for a while. Little did Arenger know, that her flames would work just fine in his little tunnels. As long as there was an air source, her flames would be fine, even if it was limited. They wouldn't last too long, of course, but they'd last long enough. She was, of course, the captain after all.

It didn't take long until the flames made his tunnels into ovens and cold Vikings took good but being cooked alive was one of their human weakness. Arenger decided to jump to the ground but quite a bit away from the flames as he could. he gazed up to his captain and shook his head with a slight smile.
"Captain, perhaps you will exchange steel and not only have me dodging big balls of fire all day? After all all that I'll be doing is hide under ground and get back to the surface." Arengers body was now glowing as a true soldier, drenched by sweat. He was quite warm now and as every living being did when the body was warm he became sweaty. Yet he was still standing and was waiting for his captains next move. Would she continue with the flames or would she fight him hand to hand? That was his biggest question, for running he could do some ore of.

"Oh, but you know how I love my fire, Arenger." the captain grins, amused at her warrior's impatience with her. "But really, my dear Norseman, you should know me better by now." deciding in the end to spare him the wait, she draws her sword. Gold ribbon-like strips of metal encircle her hand in a sort of guard, her right hand holding it loosely. Now those who knew the captain well also knew that she was left-handed, but since Arenger was being impatient, she'd scold him by holding back. Dropping lower in the sky, the captain's strangely designed blade flashes in the faint sunlight, the runes etched into the metal glowing a faint blue. "Is this little thing what you were waiting for?" she asks, though in truth the sword is about as tall as the captain herself. Which, in all truth, isn't that tall.

Arenger smiled as he looked at Forni. Finally this was going some where. He swung his axe around in excitement. He would not taste blood and nor did he longed for it. Both where friends and this was more of a training session to him then a battle. "Aye ma'am. It's indeed what I've been waiting for. Along with mother nature!" he made a slight bow for her to show how thankful he was.

"Now that's the attitude I'm looking for." the captain grins, her sword making a small slash in the air. A high whistling sound is heard, as the swing is extremely fast, and a small blade-like energy wave shoots forth, glowing the same blue as the runes. "You seem to be getting excited, Arenger. Don't let it cloud your mind..... or I just might hurt you." she grins again, her sword twirling about prettily in her hand.

"Aw, this is so boring...no blood at all...just a bunch of loonies beating their first sweat" Knex complained as he took a few steps forward to see if he could see blood or not. "C'mon, bloody up some wounds there!" He cheered out growing impatient of their little sparring match. "I swear...if I don't see some blood I'll just make some...oh, wait I can't it goes against my codes and virtues...bah..." He said to himself as he folded his arms. He acted as though he had nothing better to do, but he actually needed to get some information before something fell into the wrong hands, then Knex began to think. "Wait, if I try to ask these two information now, they might be prone to attack me, I would have to retaliate in defense...ha, what a loophole." Knex said to himself as he drew himself closer to the battle.

The attack was nothing that Arenger hadn't seen before. After all he ahd seen her battle along with him against many foes. He rolled to the side and dodged the visible energy ray with a nice marginal. Then on the other hand he noticed a man who he had not seen before what he could remember. He was screaming for blood and gore it seemed. "If you wish to taste blood then I suggest you seek out enemies of yours who challenge and get your own. Not just sip form the blood of others."
He kept watch of Forni in case she would try and punish him for talking with someone out side this fight. "If you challenge the Striders then I can tell you that it's your blood you will taste and it will most likely if you go far enough be your last taste in this life." His tone was not angry or cold. Yet the words was threatening there was nothign as such his Arengers tone.

Turning away from Arenger, the captain lays eyes on the one shouting at them. "Do you know to whom you speak?" she demands, lowering her blade for a moment. She waves at Arenger, motioning for a pause in their battle. It seems the captain's been angered, and such would cause great misery to one who such was directed at. If the Norseman were to attack now, he'd recieve a mouthful of flames for his effort. "Tell me, Oh Disrupter of Battle, who do you think you are to order the Captain of the Dawn Striders about?"

"To whom I speak, no, but what I do know is that I wish to see the fight progress and this is simply slowing it down...and I wouldn't have used that series of words to describe it...perhaps a request, but not an order, heaven's no" He said waving his hands in disapproval. He then went on to answer the Viking. "I apologize Ax-wielding warrior, but I'm afraid anyone who brings violence and chaos into this world is an enemy of mine and thus, you two could be considered my enemies, but don't be fooled by my words; I'm not here to pick a fight with wither of you." Knex tried to explain to the musclebound man. He then went back to the height impaired Leader, at least that's how the Viking had described her. "So your the Dawn Strider Leader, it appears you have some issues with your own platoon..." He said pointing to her opponent. "He says your height impaired and you go on a rampage for blood, good show, however it's a little untrustworthy to attack your allies." He said as if he was trying to tech her a lesson about trust. It was obvious that Knex's social skills definitely needed work, for he seemed to be digging a grave he couldn't get out of. "And who I am isn't much of a concern, but I can give you a hint and it has to do with the color 'Red', I'm sure you can fill in the blanks." Knex said showing that he was simply a fan who appreciates the violence of others and nothing more, but a person who protects and serves. "Attack me if you must, but let me just say I will only attack in defense and not for blood, which is why I cheered for you two to spill blood and not I, for this would be a sign of disloyalty to the Eternal Flame I'm sworn to protect. So please, go on with your fight, I have no intention on stopping it...Unless this conversation just did, if that's the case then I wish to ask a few questions if that would be alright?" Knex explained in a sort of dark yet noble way. His loyalty to the Flame could only be compared to his dark humor and lust for blood, he was obviously the darker side of the Red Guard. At this point Knex thought he was simply just getting himself into useless conversation that could be spent with more fighting, but he just didn't realize that he was making things worse for himself...
