Eldrich closed his book, dejected. There was not useful information in any of these. He figured that Anur had already picked up his blade, so he left the library and headed to the city limits. Thoughts raced through his head, the dominant one being that, what if this was a fake item? What if there where powerful creatures in unexplored areas of the forest? Was he leading everyone on a suicide mission for nothing? He knew he and Debrah could likely handle anything, but he didn't want the blood of the elf on his hands, even if it was not him that killed the elf.
When he gets to the city limits he spots Anur. He looks around, but does not see Debrah, he figures that she just headed out into the forest already. Eldrich stares long and hard into the forest without moving at all. He is afraid of what lies in wait in the unexplored portions. And more so, if the item they seek lies in wait at all...

"Eldrich, I think someone or, something is waiting for us in there"

Jet shook his head.
"I don't go by a person's looks. They are often....misleading. You do, however, seem to use the term 'friend' losly."
When Jet said 'friend' his voice sounded as if he said the most enraging and disgusting thing in existance.
"I doubt anyone here is innocent or even sweet for that matter."

"Yes, well, it's a forest, there's bound to be things moving around, and making noise. And you're bound to smell some things too. That doesn't mean it's after us. Even if it's waiting, how do you know it's waiting for us specifically?" Eldrich said. He looked around for a second, perhaps Debrah didn't go into the forest already, maybe she was still in town, and, if so, where is she?

"Interesting. Though I'd say it's likely just a hunter after some animal. Though it's unusual that they use poison, and that they hunt in a forest like this one. But it's not unheard of." Eldrich said. "Though, even if they aren't waiting for us, we should be careful, they might mistake us for their pray, and try and get one of us with the poison."

"Huh? really? Did you ever have to hunt for a living?" Eldrich said, with a questioning gaze directed at Anur. He then looks back toward the crowd. "Have you seen Debrah come by here? She may have already gone into the forest, but I don't want to leave her behind."

"Yes, well, a ranger is essentially the same thing." Eldrich looked back toward the crowd. "Well, I don't want to leave without her, but I don't know that Debrah is even still in here, the crowd is too thick for me to see if she is here or not."
