[Category: Easy] Who is the class chef? Shouldn't it be "chefs"? Both Chao Lingshen and Yotsuba Satsuki are in the Cooking Club. Chao also owns a resturant and Yotsuba works there as a cook. But if you mean who is striving to be a good chef, I would have to say Yotsuba. She wants to open her own resturant, and Negi even compliments her in Volume 9 of being a "master chef."

I wouldn't consider Chao to be a "class chef". You don't have to be a chef to own a resteraunt, and being in a cooking club, well, that's more of a hobby. Yotsuba is known for being a chef, whereas Chao is a super-genius or something. Probably because she's an alien. (spoiler unconfirmed)

(spoiler unconfirmed) I said that Yotsuba is probably what he meant because she strives to be proficient in the culinary arts, while Chao's only known by the people so far as being a genius. What I was trying to say was that the question was a little vague. Both of them work together at the Chao Bao Zi, so it would not be surprising if Chao also shared the same skill in cooking that Yotsuba does. Not much of Chao's personality and intentions have been revealed yet.
