Daniel watched halfheartedly. He just wanted to leave right now, though it was too late to go wandering the halls. Thus, he stayed where he was, rereading the message over and over. "b*****d..." he said softly, tearing up the letter and casting it onto the fire.

Kayla waved the last of the smoke away and put her hand on her forhead. What just happened there? She used the summoning charm all the time, it's never done that before. She wiped the black marks off of her face and sat back down on the coutch. She opened her mouth to say something, but was cut off by a loud snore comming from Jeremy. He had fallen asleep on the coutch. She shook her head and turned back to Daniel. She could see that he was mad about his father sending that letter. She wanted to say something, but she decided to leave it alone. She leaned back and watched the fire pop and crackle every so often.

The fire was very peacefull and tranquil to Kayla. Her eyes started to feel heavy. They opened and shut a few times, and then she fell asleep on the coutch, her head slightly to the side, resting againts the back of it. Her dreams were filled with Un-opened doors, werewolves and people going missing.

Jeremy rolled over and landed on the foor with a loud thud. He opened his eyes and looked around. He had fallen asleep on the common room coutch agian. He sighed and rubbed his robes, getting rid of some of the wrinkles in them. He looked around. He was so bored... where to go.. where to go.. He decided to go to the owlry. He had to send a letter back to his mother anyways, telling her about Celeste. He walked out of the common room and towards the owry.

Daniel entered the common room, his face flushed deeply from both the studen't comment and his father being in the school. He retreated up to his dormatory before anyone could say anything. Everything was obvious to get out by the next day, maybe even the next hour. "Damn you, dad," he muttered, hating his life.

Kayla stormed into the dorm with Jeremy pulled along behind her. She sat down on the coutch and shook her head.
"Disgracefull"
She muttered under her breath. She hated people like that. Always saying stuff that 'aint true.
Jeremy coughed
"Um.. chocking me!"
he said finally. Kayla let go of his shirt
"Sorry.."
She said with an "I'm sorry" Smile.

Kayla sighed
"Kay, well, I'm going."
With that, she got up and walked up the girls dorm.
Jeremy raised his eyebrow and then adjusted his shirt collar that his sister had stretched out of place. With one last look around, he started up the boys dorm stairs.

Kayla sat on the coutch, her legs curled under her and a book in her hands. She tried to read, but found that her mind wasn't absorbing anything she had read. Finally she put the book down. She was surprised at all the new friends she had made this year.. but she could just sence that something bad was going to happen, and she couldn't help think it was going to be to Daniel. She sighed and looked around, pulling her light brown hair behind her ear.

Kaze comes running up the staircase. Lugging his books on his back. As he reaches the picture of the Fat Lady. He bends over and puts his hands on his knee. Than mutter, "Dammit what was that password again." Kaze starts to dig around in his pockets pulling out a tiny piece of torn notebook paper. "Ahh, Hyppogriff." he says.
Than The Fat lady swung open to reveal the common room of Gryffindor. He causualy walks down the stairs.

Daniel was shut up in his dormatory, buried in his Transfiguration book. This was how he shook off the laughter and the insults; by studying, or by reading. But somehow he couldn't shake off the last comment before he had left. Hey, Autumn, is your daddy dearest going to drag your girlfriend off with you?
He could feel his face flush as he even thought of it. Somehow, that had to be the most embarassing comment said to him so far. But... why?

Kayla leaned back in the coutch and stared at the fire, still urked about the other day. Jeremy kept on telling her to ignore them. To calm herself. He was right though, She always got worked up about the smallest things...

As he walks into the common room, Kaze tosses his books into one of the seats and sees Kayla staring at the fire. "Are you ok?" Kaze said in a concerned tone.

Kayla snapped out of her thoughts and looked over at the boy
"Oh.. yea.. I'm fine"
She said with a small, distant smile on her face, as it she were still slightly lost in thought.

Said Kayla, rasing her eyebrow and watching him leave. She laughed a little and then looked back at the fire.
