((Hello mandi! I just used a vocab word :] mr. davis would be proud, although I do think that would be creepy -shudders- such a sick sick old man))

Jade sighed. Apparently in her absence she had missed a lot in her own nation. 'Oh well, I guess I'll figure it out as I go.' "So Menos is the prince then," She paused to think for a minute. 'I guess I can fight... its been awhile though.' Just thinking of fighting made her hand move subconsciously to the whip placed on her belt. "Sounds like fun, I'm in." She then looked towards the guy the siren was talking to. His demeanor scared her, but then again, many other people she didn't know did.

((Obligatory nudge))

Despite a minor struggle on the part of the royal guards and some raucous yelling within, Menos emerged from the castle's top entrance overlooking the mountain slopes and the island landscape below. This scene before him brought back some old memories. He was a young man when he last managed to stand at this crater and look upon the kingdom's majestic capital. It was a relief that little had actually changed, but in hindsight Menos was preparing for change.

He shook his head to try to clear the difficulties of plotting and preparation to just take a moment to relax. The island breeze was pleasant and it was nice and quiet save for the wind and waves.

(I was waiting for Skieth)

Cyra nodded her head, still somewhat wary. "Yeah, and something tells me that he wants us to make it back." She had been so intruiged by the new girl that she had completely forgotten that she had been sent on a mission. "He's really smart actually, strategizing and plotting things out. Studying the mainland and stuff like that. He actually sent me to Earth to check out a few things about them. They've been in really bad shape ever since Terra Tanta was attacked. Infact, they still are." She still didn't remember that she was supposed to tell Menos this as soon as possible, and even though she hadn't been told to keep it classified, in her serious mood she wouldn't have released it anyways. But other than Rukku in the distance, there was nothing else to keep her on track. She was very easily distracted.

Jade looked from the man who had apparently been waiting for them, and the Siren. Something was obviously going on, but she didn't really care to figure it out. She was so sleep deprived from the whole expedition the King and Queen had taken her on, that all she wanted was to sleep. Figuring that she wouldn't be sleeping anytime soon, she shifted her weight from one foot to the other while waiting for the two to finish their conversation and move on. Hopefully this 'Prince Menos' was a better leader than the two crazies running all the elements.

"Hmm..." Rukku moved off the wall and towards them as he spoke up. "You know your wasting time, I am going to go collect some info.. Something seems off." The dark cloak he moved raising over his head to shadow his face and headed off in a fast walking pace. He was going to check out a couple things figuring he would have enough time to do so. Off into the distance his form faded.

Cyra looked around. She was currently surrounded my people and yet they were all very quiet and not talking. They were now in the audience room, and had been there for quiet some time, and yet nothing was moving forward and she was beginning to feel her skin itch with the dryness of being on land for far too long. She licked her lips, and not in her usual playful manor. They were starting to crack.

Menos' quiet enjoyment of the gentle winds and distant waves was broken up by the blithering of one of the court nobles and a few guards. Though agitated with the disturbance, The prince heard the gentleman out and shook his head in disdain. It was difficult not to get impatient with impending events to come but Keeping a straight face, Menos began quietly walking back into the castle and down to receive his would be audience.

Having left the guard a short bit behind, Menos thrust the doors of the audience hall open with both hands and stepped in.

((I don't think the others will be coming back, we should move on without them))

Cyra did not great Menos playfully as usual, no greetings, no nothing really. Her eyes were dark as her head bent towards the ground as she spoke. "Menos, my Prince... we are easily the most protected nation, hardly anyone can reach us and even with magic they are completely at our mercy once they set out to sea. However," She began to walk towards the window and leaned her forehead against the glass, it felt nice and cool against her dry skin. "We will surely be cut off from the mainland, which you spoke of before. Earth is still in terrible shape, maybe we could take some of their costal land?" If one of the fire could take three of earth then why not two of water? Yes it would leave them unprotected at home, but nearly all of their cities were too deep to reach, and last she had heard Air and Fire were currently occupied with each other.

Menos scratched his head for a moment. The first few bits of information Cyra gave him weren't really news or anything he didn't already know. What had some next did come as a shock to him. He took a step back with his jaw almost dropping in surprise. "You're telling me that just one fire elementalist did all of that?! The gods above could easily see that burning scar across the face of this world." He folded his arms behind his back and began to pace in a tight circle. "I suppose we could attempt to take Omgitt Jord again. So long as the vampire doesn't interfere again. His interference cost us the first attempt and a good vast majority of the invasion force... and Kiro..." Menos furrowed his brow as he finished, it disgusted him to think of what destruction had resulted from Colm's 'assistance'. "We leave at once. It seems a bit dastardly to twist the knife into the back of an already disabled nation, but such an action would likely go unnoticed by fire or air."

Cyra nodded, too dehydrated to be enthused about the idea. "I shall prepare at once." She didn't like the idea of hurting Earth further, in the past water had once been close allies with Earth, they had had a mutual agreement. Her nation provided water for their crops, and they in turn would help feed her people during the hurricane seasons when their island farms were useless. But it's not like anyone was staying true to old ties anyways. She made her way outside of the castle and quickly went over to a fountain, the water shone crystal clear and rippled like diamonds as she dunked her head into it, she inhaled the water and sputtered for a minute before her skin absorbed enough liquid to heal the cracks. Feeling slightly more refreshed she waited for the prince by the castle gates, she didn't want to leave ahead of him and leave him unprotected even if he did happen to be stronger.

After a few long moments of preparation, Menos emerged from the castle's main entry, armed and armored followed by a pair of guards. He paused and glanced over briefly noticing Cyra near a fountain. This struck an idea in his mind. I wonder if Kiro's reservoirs are still in place? They were when I passed through last time but that was some time back. None the less, even the empty reservoirs might make things easier. Leaving the train of thought to float away, Menos waved, "Come, Cyra. If we are to emerge victorious, let us fight to make it so. And to avenge Kiro." As Menos said this the greeting troops from just beyond the castle court gave a salute in remembrance.

Menos started marching forward to greet the ordered troops and march with them to the port. At the edge of the shores ships preparations were being finished, they were on standby since their return.

Cyra followed obediently and watched the activity in the harbor, how could all these men feel knowing that the last attack had failed? How did they feel knowing that they were going to the same place? It still baffled her mind though, Earth hadn't been warned, and from what she had heard there was no one to defend. It must have been as Menos said, it was the King's fault. She made her way towards the ship that would lead the fleet, she assumed Menos would want to be in the lead.

She turned back to look at him and smiled, now feeling a bit more at ease with the wonderful sea within such a close range. "We are ready when you are."

Menos scratched behind his ear and nodded in response to Cyra. It was written all over him that he couldn't quite shake the uncomfortable response. "Of course." He stood before the mast of his flagship though somewhat foreign as it was the first time he would do so without his mask and general's uniform. Taking a deep breath, he raised an arm out to shoulder level to address the naval men in his vicinity. "Gentleman, Countrymen, Soldiers... We move for Omgitt Jord. This must be the first stepping stone to the mainlands for us. For too long we have enjoyed the comforts of the sea and the islands. The other nations seek to turn our freedom into our cage. Thus we must voyage beyond the bird cage and wrest the key of freedom from our enemies. We shan't let the vicious tyranny of flame and the vampire king prevent us from our goal. We shan't let the efforts of our comrades fallen to earth savages and the violence of the vampire king be in vain. We must move to free the mainlands from the jaws of darkness and the corrupt! This is our first step! We shove off!"

The atmosphere of the ships gave rise to a distinct military chant. Hundreds of voices shouting in unison, ships cutting ties and sails taking wind.

As they moved farther and farther out to sea Cyra's mood only seemed to lift. She came to stand next to Menos. "So any grand plan? Because we could always march through O.J. and take a land that isn't quite as damaged?" She jumped up onto the ship railing and swung her legs in and out from under her body. "Then there's always the question of what the King or Queen will do if they find out. They might punish us, turn a blind eye, or even help us so that territory will stop being attacked." Her words came as fast as the thoughts began. "We haven't been to the Capital City in a while, I'm wondering if there's anything happening that we're missing. Do you think maybe we should get back into the mainstream of things first?"

Rukku returned and seen the display his now dark blue cloak with a lighter blue symbol etched reading Ice on the back. He past through what was left of the crowd and to Menos whispering something pretty quick close enough for him to hear. "I have a better idea concerning this action but you already gave the order so gues I can go along" He turned and looked at them leaving and had a look as if he disagreed with their actions giving the king only a moment to state what it was before walking towards the sea. It was obvious Rukka had his own goal but what it was nobody knew yet. It took only a minute or so to get on a boat mixing with the normal people.

His cloak would stand out though as the hood hid his face. His eyes trailed the boats looking for Cyra or anyone he knew and he would stay watching their boat and their direction to see which way they was heading. He was a tactician himself so he knew very well they should have enough power to take Omgitt Jord alone. Rukku was already thinking of a plan.
