Maix exited the mayor's manor, a huge gash across his chest. He had a box in his hands, both of which were covered in blood. He quickly ran to the gates and out of them, for he didn't want to run into marines with all of this 'evidence' on him. He could only assume that Roku and Jima were at the hospital, and decided to head in that direction. He went quickly. He burst through the hospital doors, looking left and right, hoping to find his two crew members, running through the halls, looking through the glass windows until he found them. He entered their room, the box still in his hands. "Hey there..." He said, looking at Jima with a soft smile.

Upon the sea, Hector's vessel continued forward trying to search for the pirates. It didn't seem quite possible for two men to swim so far, but then again these were pirates, not average people. Hector made his way to the helm of the ship after he tossed the remnants of a banana over the railing to we swept away by the wake of his ship. Before his ship was an island that seemed only a few miles from the island they departed, though it may have felt long with the lack of wind powering them along. This island, logically would be the only place the pirates could rest and get supplies, like a ship, at least Hector thought they needed a ship or they wouldn't need to have swam away. Whatever the reason, it looked as though once again he had caught their trail. His head turned over his shoulder as he shouted toward the helm's man, "Head directly for that island." A sense of urgency that hinted in his voice and his constant shouting, for it seemed the pirates were once again so close.
However, the ship he was standing upon came to an abrupt stop, flinging almost all normal marines falling to the deck. ((With the occasional man with super reflexes and was able to somehow suspect something like this. But back to the point.)) Hector being on of those who were sent to the floor, pushed himself up and looked around at his crew. See that they were mostly fine, he moved to a pipe that allowed communication between the decks. "Anyone, give me a damage report."
"Nothing extremely bad, but he have some cracks in the wood supports. What did we hit, sir?"
Having no answer at the moment, he ran over to the railing at the front of the ship to investigate the event. What he saw made him groan and place a hand on his head. Under the ship was a larger sand bar they had wedged themselves in as the ship turned. With a possibility that the rudder broke, he didn't was to attempt testing it. So there he was, on a ship a few miles away from an island with a ship stuck on a sand bar. "Just my luck," he muttered before lifting his head out of his hands and commanded his crew to, "Get ready to get wet. We're going to dig sand."

Roku smiled and replied to Jima. "Oh really? Try being beat within an inch of your life and left for dead, by you own crew. And then, to top it off, you lose all of your memories" He showed her the scar on his left eye, and then he took off his shirt and turned his back towards her, showing her the diagonal scar running across his back. "I'll never forget the face of the man who did this to me... Now, he's a Vice-Admiral, and his name is Jaxer Kaguya, and I will make it my endeavor to get my revenge on him." He then put his shirt back on, and says, "But enough about me, we gotta get you outta here." Just as he finished talking, he saw Maix walking thruogh the door with a box in his hands. "Hey Maix, what's in the box?" he asked curiously.

Jima looked at Roku and nodded. "Ok... but don't forgt where you left off because you gonna tell me the story as detailed as you can when were on the ship." She said got up and pulled them out of the hospital despite the pain. She continued to pull them untill she got to the ship. "ok... Raise the anchor.... and someone take the wheel." she ordered then leaned on the railing and coughed out blood again. She let out a sigh. 'I need a margarita....' she thought to herself. ((I had to throw that in)) Then brushed the hair out of her face. "Hey Roku! Don't suppose your any good at making drinks!" She called out hoping he wouldn't say anything about it to her unless it was a yes or what did you have in mind.

Roku smiled and said, "Yeah, I am, do we have alcohol?"((see, if ur character was still 14, he would'nt have let her drink. aren't you glad u bumped up ur age? and orion, whats in the box?))

Jima nodded. "last cabnet to the right." she said still leaning on the railing untill she got the strength to walk again. "think you can find it on your own? or do I have to go with you?" she teased. ((yes I am))

When Maix got back on the ship, he took some chains and bars of steel, filling the box with the bars and wrapping it in chains. He went to the deck, dropping the box over the edge. He watched and smiled as it sank. "Perhaps in the next life, you'll know." He said quietly, so no one would hear him. As he was still looking out at sea, he saw a ship, which appeared not to be moving, not even by the waves, near one of the beaches. He squinted his eyes, seeing that the flag that adorned the ship was a marine flag. "Damn, Hector. Am I that important?" He said to himself. "Well, maybe it's not him. Maybe they're just patrolling. Well either way, we'd better get out of here fast before they find out what I did..." He turned around, heading up to the helm. "Hey guys. We're heading out. NOW." He said, making his way back down to raise anchor, seeing it was already raised. "Oh. Well we're still heading out!" He made his way back to the helm.

Jima looked out at the village. "Maix... what did you do to him?" She asked slightly upset that she knew he killed him. "Other than killing him... he didn't deserve it you know... to he may have been cruel but..." She stoped hersel trying to get the courage to say it. "he was still my dad," she said bracing herself for yelling and possibly a fight.

Maix smiled and put his hand on Jima's shoulder. "Don't worry, Jima." He turned around, attending the helm. "And yeah...........he did deserve it." Once the ship finally set sail, he turned back to her, his hands still on the wheel. "No one who treats you that way.....can be called a dad."

Jima looked at the ocean. "Roku... make it a double." She called obviously wanting to just drink herself to either death or unconsciousness. "I'm really going to need it." she said then looked at maix as though she didn't know who he was. She honestly didn't think she did anymore. She let out a sigh then looked back down. "he was though...and even though he was cruel... I still loved him like a dad."

Maix stared ahead, keeping his eye on the sea. He didn't say anything. 'How........how could someone beat someone else........and still be loved by that person!?!?' He thought to himself. He just couldn't understand. Perhaps it was because he didn't have parents, but this was just impossible for him to understand. This made him think of his childhood. He was never treated cruelly by his sister or brother, and in the end, they showed their love by giving their lives. So how? How could someone like Jima's father still be loved, not just by Jima, but by anyone? He directed his attention back to the wheel, not moving or budging an inch. He didn't even blink. Even from a few feet away, it would appear as if Maix wasn't even breathing.

Jima looked at her locket. "I'll be in my room." she muttered then walked down to her room. She just sat in the corner of her bed. feeling somehow empty inside. She closed her eyes. "looks like I'm the only one who would understand what I do." she whispered to herself then opened the locket and the music started to play. "He's gone... he's really gone... the only one thatknew about her and he's gone." She whispered and started to cry silently to herself.

Roku walked the kitchen and started to make Jima's drink, when he saw her run past the door, with tears in her eyes. He put up the alcohol, and grabbed his personal book of recipes. He scrolled through it until he found what he was looking for.
------20 minutes later------
Roku knocked on Jima's door and said, “Hey Jima, it's Roku. I got something that'll make you feel better.”
((sorry i couldnt post yesterday. i went to 2 parties yesterday and didnt get home till 1 am))

Jima opened the door after she whiped the tears from her eyes. "You don't have to knock you know... if I didn't want you in I would have locked the door." she said trying to once again avoiding any eye contact with the two of them. She went back to her bed and once again sat in the corner with her arms wrapped around her legs and stared at the locket wich was now on the dresser. she let out a sigh and held a hand to her head holding her bangs out far enough for her to see. "I can't believe I miss him... but... he was still my dad and the only one I had. He's the reason why I act the way I do and the reason why I can sing and dance and play piano and... I know everything because of him. HE may have forced it on me... and he may have been cold... and abusive but...I still miss him" She confessed wanting to cry again but she kept herself from doing so.

Roku smiled and said, “Well, I think this will cheer you up.” He turned around and left the room. A second later, he came back with a beautiful, delicious vanilla cake with rose icings and strawberries on top. “Here you go, this is my special Pick-Me-Up Cake. I usually only make it on special occasions, but this is a special case.” He sat it down on her bed and said, “Enjoy.” He saw Maix eyeing the cake and said,“You can eat whats left after she's done.”
