"that is the best thing about my line of work," Raphael grinned again, "there's never an out of the way stop and i can deffently afford to take you to lunch." his hand patted his shown purse his much fuller one hidden on his person from other purse snatchers and pickpockets.

Allya was a bit suspisious as to his true line of work, but she ignored it for now. "Well," she replied, "that would be great. I just need to give this to the letter carrier first, then we'll go." She began to walk in the direction of the mail carrier's stall.

Raphael followed along behind, "nice doll," he told Tessa sure she bought it with the silver he gave her. If only he was still that easy to saite.

"Thank you!" Tessa said giving her doll a hug, "and thank you for the money!" She gave another big grin at Raphael. They finally reached the mail carrier, who was standing outside his stall. She passed him the letter and told him to give it to her uncle as quickly as possible. He gave her a quick nod and a slight grunt before disappearing behind the curtains and into the back.
Allya turned around back to Raphael and Tess, "Ok... all done. Ready to go?"

"Follow me," Raphael said taking off down the street slower than usual. It would probably be for the best if he went to a higher scale place, especially with these two. Keep setting yourself up for stuff raph he thought, and distracting yourself from what you want which is... Raphael laughed at his own indiscion and the following mental fight between drinking and throwing the royality of this kingdom into ruin.

Raphael sudden took off. Allya lifted Tessa up onto her shoulders and told her to hang tight. Tessa wasn't much of a burden, she was still small and light enough to carry. She didn't know where they would be going, but she just followed...

"Perfect!" Raphael said stopping infront of a resturant. It wasnt the nicest in town but it wasnt a bar, probably more conforatble for his guests here. If he remembered correctly he stole from these people before, well that should've been long enough for them to forget his face. People always seemed to, not like there was anything disquenishing about him. "Ready for a good meal you two?" He held open the door, like a gentleman he laughed mentally what did he know about that honor?

"Th.. thank you," Allya said letting Tessa off of her shoulders and walking through the doorway. She scanned around the room, "I've never been in a restaurant before..." she said in an almost hushed tone, unsure whether she sould sit or not...

"Never? Well then this is your lucky day, " Raphael followed the two of them in and requested a booth. "Whats your favorite dish?" he asked looking at Tessa.

"Umm.." Tessa had to think about it for a few seconds before she finally called out her answer, "Spaghetti!" Allya gave a small laugh at her mental image from the last time Tessa ate Spaghetti; it flew over everything and everyone... A server lady soon showed them to their seats and Allya sat down next to Tessa.

Raphael laughed and followed the two girls sitting across from them both. "Give me an ale," he told the waitress, one wasnt going to do much harm and he'd need it giving details of the battle to these kids. "And we'll probably be wanting spaghetti and napkins."

"Yes.. napkins would be useful," she agreed, "and a salad please," she asked. She wanted to wait for a bit before asking Raphael to release details about the battle.

"Are you sure you want all the details?" He asked thinking about the chaos that the battle was, "I can tell you who lived, well on our side thats famous and gets alll the ballads sung about them," he said. He took a deep breath before continuing making sure his personal feelings wouldnt be to mixed up in this informal quesionare, "We won anyway so whats the big probelm?" and I'm sure the enemy will come back and farms will be burned, land pillaged, that sort of thing." he thought, though there's always my plan that would just get rid of royality here, possibly throw us under another king but he'd be so far away whats the point of him?

"Well I know that we won the battle, but a soldier came... came to my house last night. He wouldn't give out much details, he did say not to worry about the farms, but I'm not really believing him. I want to know, to know the chance of another attack... if there is any better chance to stay in town then, then I'll try and convince my father to move us here... I want to know how strong the enemy is..." Allya was trying to hold herself together. She was not one to speak that much to a person she had just met, but times seemed different now... things were changing. Tessa just sat next to Allya, only caring about her doll. Sometimes Allya wished she was that carefree again...

"I doubt their giving up," Raphael said in all seriousness, "From what I understand it is another country, and one attack never decided a war. A smart general would burn farms first starving the people," Raphael shut his mouth, best not let people know he actually read things. Hey book stores were the most inconspicuous places to be, scholars didnt steal.
