I used to have some KOSS ear buds a few years back that were pretty good.... I forgot the model number tho... The ones i have been using for awhile are SONY's MDR-W08. They are like the head band type but they are buds too.. I really like them they have always sounded good to me. I did try a pair of those BOSE headphones that block out the noise around you... Those are so nice but they also have a nice price tag to go along with them.

um wow - doing this made me look into listening to my stuff better and so i went to audiocubes, our gaian sponsor, to upgrade my headphones to my ipod - but i didn't know what to get! so i found a great site where they talked about the stuff called www.head-fi.com but there are so many different opinions! they even say a headphone amp is a good idea! argh! but i bet my music would sound a trillion times better with good headphones...
