Gah, i'm too fat for that s**t.... *A monster jumps out and scares Xtoxic_valentineX* Yah, so i sat there for like 20 mintues, with the match, clicking on the mirror, going "omg, wtf?", so i finally gave up and did other stuff, and then i went back in the bathroom and decided to try it one more time, put the match up to the mirror, and...
RAWR!!!!!!!
Freakin scared the piss outta me. And then i got shanked by a demonic teddy bear... eek

RocketBilly a good mood ruining experience= CHRIS REDFIELD PUNS. in REmake, after you beat the plant 42, Chris says to Rebecca "i think we got to the root of the problem." .......it hurts just thinking about it.... It's okay, it was much more of an improvement from the original... "We got to the ROOT..... Of that problem" It was worded so badly that you just expected a "Badum, TSSSS!!!" Afterwards.

Haunting Ground - When Lorenzo leaves his wheelchair behind and chases you by scurrying across the floor using his hands.
It ruined any kind of tense, unsettling atmosphere - but made my day. blaugh rofl

Dare I bring up RE5? (Though nice visually, and a fun game to play with a friend, the entire game was a bit of a mood-ruining experience for the series. xd )
We're running through a watery tunnel, we come to a curve, and we suddenly get a creepy... violin-ish horror movie sound as three dogs rush at us. It was earnestly startling... however... we killed the dogs, ran forward for two second, and the EXACT same thing happens, with the same music. Not so startling. In fact... it just seemed cheap after that.

Well, from what I hear, having that partner there kills the creeps too. Which is expected. Yes, Ashley was annoying, but if you got someone who's gonna have an infinite amount of healing for you, and is gonna help you out, there's that comfort level.
So, screw what anyone says, maybe it DOESN'T make sense to separate in a horror situation, but damn it, it makes things scarier, so to hell with logic.

It makes even less sense when you think about it. Ashley, 22, diplomatically immune in a situation where her life is at stake. It brings to mind why Leon couldn't have just BOUGHT her a pistol. That FN Herstal FiveSeven you could win by shooting the medallions would have been perfect. Low recoil, high accuracy, excellent damage. At least she wouldn't have been reduced to throwing lanterns at people. Worried that she wouldn't know how to use it? Take her into the merchant's shooting gallery, simple. I don't think Capcom thought about that. Also: Ashley, 22 Rebecca, 18 stare

But you do have a point. Claire was younger too, and she's not even in the police force, and she could still handle a piece. s**t, she handled a grenade launcher.
