"Flash Grenade!" He said surprised. "Nice job Kai!" He said pointing his aimer on the Infected head. "Eat this!" He shot about 6 rounds and reloaded. He saw the damage effected, but the head did not die yet, and the parasite isn't coming out. "You gotta be kidding me." He took out his Knife on his side pocket. "Maybe this will help!" He said shooting out his grapple hook by the wall near the infected parasite, and reeled in as he was getting nearer and nearer to the parasite, Then he kicked it's head and as the neck went back, He grabbed his knife tightly and slashed through the neck ripping it half off leaving the neck hanging and the head smashed. He shot his grapple hook on the road getting away from the infected's bloody corspe as he and the others waited for the parasite to come out. A parasite with it's body as a tail as sharp as a blade, starts swinging it's acid around as it rips out from the corspe's head with blood all over. "Las-Plagas...I thought i saw the last of your disgusting kind when UB corp took it in for extermination." He put back his knife and took out his Broken Butterfly again. "You parasites still are crawling on earth spreading your plague, but i wonder how much have been killed already."

Laura turned from David to Maverick and she sat there stunned. "Maverick?" She mumbled her eyes wide with curiosity with a small grin. "What are you doing here?" She asked standing up and helping David to his feet. One of the zombies jumped at her but she kicked it to the floor, took out her gun and shot it in the forehead. "How did you know where to find me?" she asked.

"Huh?...oh! ummm...It's me, this guy here, Ryan, Kai and we met up with Dreiy a few minutes ago." She told him, still stunned by his sudden appearance. "You...you...have people with you, right?" She asked hopefully.

"Besides the guy I was just talking to, yeah I do have my people here. Most of them were at the post I was speaking of but now they're moving to the next secure post which is basically on the other side of town. Do you know what's going on? I've been in the dark since I got here! The higher ups won't say a word about what happened meaning something really very bad happened right?" Maverick said.

Maverick sighed. "Calm down, Laura. I believe you. Let's worry about the here and now." He said as he took out a Pocket PC and brought up a map of the town. "This is where we are and here's the exit point, the post my men are now heading to. It's a long way from here, luckily we were able to contain some of the infection but the zombies are somehow bypassing our containment and slowly spreading. Right now our best chance is to get to this post here while we can." He explained.

"Good work, The incendinarys burned it all the way down." He sighed. "But, Theres alot more of them out there." He said as he swiftly took out his Device from a special containment sealed by a code, By dialing certain codices he unlocked the sattelite control, and pin-pointed Laura's exact location. "Alright, It seems there 3 blocks ahead from here, and a left." "That's near the inetersection across the decimated lab." "I hope there okay." "But no use worrying if we dont know if there dead or not." "Lets start moving 3 blocks up." He said sealing his device back into his case and began walking with this part of the city so silent, Only the clacking of your feet is heard echoing through the hollowed buildings. (Did i spell echo correct? >.<)

"Ahh...i remember that before the mision the general took me to a weird room and they injected something in me they said it was a tracking device but i don't believe them i think they injected something weird."

"Dreiy huh, if he's here then this is some serious crap we're in. If we run into him, I'll have to ask him about it but right now I have to get you and Laura out of here..." He said as he switches the map feature to a scanner feature, thousands of tiny dots were headed for their current location slowly.. "or else we're gonna get overrun. Hopefully Ryan got away..."
