"That's just horrible." Vik said, disgusted by both what Cymarron did and the way he was treated. "It wust be terrible hearing all those voices at one time. No wonder you lose control every now and then." Vik shivered a bit, remembering how Cymarron was like on that one night. "So...that beast you turned into. Is that the collective of all those races you devoured?"

"I hope it doesn't. If if upsets mommy then it will upset daddy, and also Saradin Phoenix." She gave a twitch to her ears again. "I like it, it's pretty." In her absentmindedness she played with the edge of her dress and even the tops of her boots, her tail idly swaying. "Serve me?"

"Serve, as in able to be of use and ability." Nelphean tilted his head, "To serve one's friend, a song, a poem, a thousand hands, but not your servent, just a helpful friend..." The elf answered.
"So my songs gave you pleasent dreams, may I ask as to what they were?"

Bastet stood in her room gathering up the rest of her gear which she had taken from the hags empty room. Apparently the witch had picked up her stuff when she had followed her trail, and now she had disappeared. A sigh elicited from the cat woman as the rest of the gear was put in place strapped in with her pair of black pants and and a plain red shirt. Keeping very quiet, she left her room slinking about the Manor, ignoring those she saw. Unable to mess with Nailah right now, she forewent that route and came to the library where her Nelphean was sitting. In a playful mood she pounced on him, "Hello dear elf."

"Oh...sorry. Mommy says I have trouble with concepts. Things like that. I don't understand them to well, they make no sense to me sometimes." She shrugged and started playing with her tail. "I was playing in a field. I was with you and mommy, daddy, Saradin Phoenix, Bastet, Niah, Tyler, Cymarron, everybody. We were all happy."

Cymarron shook his head lightly.
"The Beast is, and is not. it is all our darkness, and the Hunted's darkness. it is rage, anger, hate, and the need to kill..manifested of our flesh."
His ears dropped slightly.
"It is why we cannot do certain things, like the consumtion of alcohol. if we lose our control, if the cage door goes unlocked, the Beast will be free. and the Beast has no pack. The Beast knows all we know, and has no feelings except rage, hate, and the desire to Hunt."

Reading his book, the elf flew through the pages, minding his own business... Then, out of no where, Bastet landed atop of him. "Hello, dear cat." Nelphean grinned, "Miss me already?"
"For the youth that you are, you have all the awareness you need. You are a smart and clever girl." Nelphean boosted Ecara's ego. "That sounds like a very pleasent dream. I saw a bright light, and Rakka. Then I awoke, but very pleasent it was indeed." Nelphean smiled, "Do you have any questions you would like to ask?"

She switched position so that she was lying on her stomach, kickign her legs in the air. Her elbows were propped on the floor and she had her chin in her hands. "How do you know if someone's your mommy or daddy?"
((Be back guys, have to run an errand.))

"Me? Miss someone? I do not know if I have enough heart for that." She placed her hand over her heart, "Hm, but I guess I did think about you a few times, so that counts, but why should I give you such the ego boost?" Her smile radiated out. "So what book have I interrupted you from now?"

"I see..." Vik pulled a seat up from the table and took a seat on it backwards, resting his chin on the chair's back. "That's quite a lot of rage. I would expect that much from bottling it up for so long. No matter how much control you have over it, it is still there, waiting for the moment when you are weakest to spring out. Keeping it bottled up like that isn't healthy at all and can be stressful at times. You have to be able to let your anger out in healthy doses so you don't lose control and turn into that." An idea suddenly sparked in his head. "Have you ever tried locking yourself up or going to a secluded area and just letting all your rage out? You wouldn't harm anyone and I'm pretty sure you wouldn't be harming yourself.

Cymarron shook his head lightly.
"The Beast is far stronger than us...when the Beast is free, we are not. to give it freedom, is to weaken us. if we grow too weak, then there will be no Cymarron. only the Beast. Which is a reason we Hunt. we become stronger, as does the Beast. we feed on thier postive memories..the beast feeds on the negative. but we do not have our own good memories, so we Hunt lest we become to weak to keep the Beast caged."
Ha. You can't keep me caged much longer. soon enough you'll know what it's like to be caged all the time. and I'm going to enjoy it.

((Break's over. School starts tomorrow. I got a test in English. G2G)) "It must be awful living with two minds." Vik said, "I understand why you must keep this thing locked up. If this beast were to take control, you would be unable to do anything but watch as the ones you love get torn apart right before your eyes. Then you would have to live with the fact that they are gone because of you, that your own hands are covered with their blood. But you are wrong about one thing. The beast is NOT stronger than you. Virtue and your sense of righteousness will allways overcome rage and madness. As long as you stay stong, Cymarron, the beast will never control you." Vik got up and pushed his chair back under the table. "It was nice talking to you, Cymarron but I've got a few things I have to take care of. See ya around." He turned around and left the kitchen. Munalisk gave Cymarron a small wave before gliding after him.

Nelphean looked into Ecara's eyes, and he felt a compuslion to answer her question, which he followed. "A mother is the woman who gives you live, and preserves that life. A father is a man who protects that life, and honours the mother." He tilted his head, and added, "I use the words 'woman' and 'man' liberally, meaning that they don't necessarily have to be human. They are words used to describe a gender role given by society in order to maintain certian conformity within that society, to create a larger bond between all the memembers." Nelphean had no idea what he was talking about, but a force guided his voice to answer as best as his subconsious mind could. "Your mother, Aurahkah is you mother because she gives you life, in the form of love and affection. Eclipse is your father because he does the same. These titles are special, meaning that they have extra devotion to you than most other people, in all honesty though, and man or woman who claims to be your protector and provider who means you no harm, can be your parent." Nelphean reaccounted the words, it made sense, but he didn't know what he was trying to say... It was like a ghost talked through him.
Nelphean's hands slide towards Bastet's wrists, followed by a quick movement that had all of the books on the floor, and Bastet laying on her back on the table. Nelphean was partially ontop of her, staring into her eyes, looking intently as ever. "Hello Bastet."

She listened to him, and it was a good thing she could follow his words. Otherwise the typical four year old would of been lost at the first sentence. Ecara drew herself up to be sitting on her knees, hands folded in her lap as she bit her lip a little. Half in thinking, half in trying to subdue pressure in her fangs. "Can you have more than one mommy or daddy?"
Aura vaguely knew that Vik and Munalisk had left, but was still partially lost in her own thoughts. Compelled to get the book, but also stuck to her spot for some reason. Maybe she didn't even want to know...

Tyler sat there a bit confused. He had moved back after the girl named Esmerelda had opened the strange hole that scared Miss Niah. He wanted to go after Miss Niah and help her but he was still a bit upset. He had a lot on his mind for his young age and wondered. Is my mommy ever coming back for me? She promised but she still hasn't come. He sighed and suddenly no longer wanted to be around grown-ups. He wanted to see Cara. He had seen her leave earlier with the man who looked like the other man. He tried to think of the man's name but couldn't. He wandered outside the kitchen and heard Cara over by the fireplace. Walking slowly he saw her talking to the man and stood just out of her line of sight.
Niah paced her room. She still saw all the snakes wrapped around her. It was freakish and she knew she needed to get over her fear. She had had the damn thing for centuries now. She glared at her desk and sighed. Things were so difficult now.
