EmWah Chemical_Kitten lol, I'm alright I guess. Just about to give up on my assignment though. I'm sick of it and it isn't getting anywhere. I'm tired and irritable and really just don't care too much about the assignment. I know I should, but for some reason I just don't feel like it is that much of a deal which really scares me. I'm feeling the stress of it, but it's like I don't care. I don't know how to explain it. crying Yeah I know that feeling too. Like you know you should really be doing it and trying your best to make it good, but you really just don't want to and don't care and can't be bothered. It is teh suck 3nodding I've been working on it for about a month now and still in the research stage. Only yesterday did I try and structure what I had in note form to decide on paragraphs. Still, I don't have enough info and it is due in less than two weeks. I'm never going to get it finished. crying WellzY Ok so maybe I'm getting dissconnected in 20 seconds. Night! EmWah Moop. This is a little late for dinner, isn't it? Hungry. You? Yes it is very late, but mum made a soup and started it late. It's Lamb Shank, which takes ages to cook. sweatdrop It's ready now, so I'll be back in a few minutes. lol, I'm alright I guess. Just about to give up on my assignment though. I'm sick of it and it isn't getting anywhere. I'm tired and irritable and really just don't care too much about the assignment. mysticaingeal Sweetie. You have time for a break. Trust me. Tell me about this assignment 3nodding I keep changing my topic and can't seem to make my mind up. For starters, it's a crime and justice assignment in which I have to compare and contrast the facts and fallacies of crime. I've chosen to focus on the rape of prostitutes. First I started out with the aim on whether prostitutes could be raped or not, seeing as what their job entails etc. Then, I decided to do it on whether rape was the same as prostitution, as there are quite a few anti-prostitution movements saying it is. Tonight I decided to have my topic to be comparing and contrasting the myth that prostitutes aren't affected by rape to the extent of other people. I've found case files in which the rapist has gotten a lesser charge just because they raped a prostitute. I'm just finding it so hard to get the rest of my research. It's like it's all hidden out of site. I doubt it will ever get finished.

Can you combine topics? It might make it easier....
The whether they can be raped or not is interesting, but I think if you get a technical definition of rape, you will end up with a clear answer. I mean, rape isn't about sex, it is about unwanted sex. So it seems clear that they can be raped.
Your recent topic seems really interesting. I think you could do some good stuff there and go further into the issues behind societal conceptions which influence the law, although they shouldn't
