voidan rin smiled and chuckled quietly. sighing she didn't care anymore, she was too tired too and too happy about everything else. leaning into syaoran once again, she yawned and shut her already closing eyes. ''i love you...'' she said, snuggling herself closer to him and finally falling back to her deep sleep. xin picked maru up in his arms and just stared at her. ~so beautiful...~ he thought with a light smile. truthefully he worried about her, he was scared she could die. sighing he walked back to the mansion and up to her room, carefully putting her in her bed so she could rest. ''sweet dreams'' he said to her, pulling the covers over her and kissing her again on the forehead. he would stay at her side until she woke again, even if it took days or mere hours. he would stay. Maru slept, a whisper of whimper comming from here from the lack of Xin's touch, his warmth. "Dont....leave me...." She murmured in her sleep, before turning over.

She murmured in her sleep, before turning over. xin listened to maru, surprised she had said anything. stroking her head softly he rose from his seat at her bed side and crawled over the bed. laying himself behind her he wrapped his arms around her and pulled her close to him, kissing the side of her face before closing his eyes. he didn't intend on sleeping, only resting with her, keeping awake to watch over her. ''i won't leave you.'' he said, his words promising.

Fenris smiled as he bit through loki's heart, her sweet blood trickling through his mouth and down his throat. Snapping his head away he growled and cursed loki for having it. he stared at her with angry but hungry eyes, her blood becoming an uncontrollable addiction to him. "I loathe your blood...and yet i love it...curse you to hell" fenris said, drinking more.
he could feel the poison killing him and gritted his fangs in the pain it caused. he loathed her and himself. "why did i allow you to kill me..." he asked, a mix of hate and love in his voice.
once loki touched his lungs with her claws he knew what she was going to do, and didn't bother stopping her, besides he knew there was no way to. he knew she was close to death as well. laughing cursedly he felt her plunge to his heart. with a smile, he died as soon as it was ripped out, his body slumping on hers gently, with his head coming to rest on hers. His eyes shut, he didn't look dead, really. he merely looked like he was sleeping. the heart loki held turned into a silver rose, black stripes on the base of the pettles. soon his whole body became bathed in roses, a bit of flesh from him gone. the only thing that remained of him was his black feathery wings.

Loki only smiled at Fenris. She was still alive she thought, her blood was flowing from her like water but she was still alive. She smiled softly back at him, not even having the strength to smirk anymore. "We all end up in hell Fenris, didn't you know?" She asked softly.
God she hurt, and she hated him for causeing her this pain. She wanted nothing more then for his life, and her own for that matter, to be over. She gave him another smile as he asked why he'd allowed her to kill him. "You allowed yourself to be killed because of you human heart's frailty. Because you made the mistake of falling in love, just as I have." She answered.
She watched his body turn into beautiful roses and slumped to her knees. "God curse me for being what I am." She whispered. She then brought her shadow sword to her hand. "One last kill she whispered, one last message to deliver." She said softly as the sword vanished and then plunged itself into Star's heart. She plucked one of the feathers that remained and smiled at it. "One last chance." She finished as everything around her began to glow. She died in that last moment, as everything burst into dark flames.
Star staired at the black flames that had engulfed her 'sister and spoke softly to Mak and Hikaru. "Once the flames die go into the ashes, you'll find a child asleep within them. A child born of love, and darkness. Watch over her for me? please?" She asked The last two questions spoken not with Star's voice, but with Loki's. With That She fell forward and was dead. As she lay there the black flames moved from what had been Fenris and Loki's rose prison to Star, and an infant's crys split the now silent night.
((Almost finished...*sniffle* I'll bet those roses of his were pretty...* crys for the death of Loki and Fenris* I'll be okay, just gimme a minute... *looks at Rin I SAW THAT!!! nime pumkin pie!!!! *steals pie from Rin* okay I feel better now...))

Hikaru winced at Loki's voice but nodded, Mak doing the same, his arm around Hikaru whose Empathy was still very active at the moment. Maku and Miku's heads resting on their father's lap as Mak watched over his family he looked to the battle of life and death and wondered how this would all really end....how would his family's legacy end? He'd learned so much from that one kiss with Hikaru, so much he didn't and did want to happen.
Mak just bit his lip stroking Hikaru's hair as he began to glow, white Hikaru smiling slightly as Mak attempted something he'd not before. With a slight gasp a second Mak appeared before him, standing unbrused or beaten. Slightly worn from using his others powers, Mak gave a simple command. The other Mak nodded and was gone in a flash of light, seeking out the infant's cry.
The copy Mak appeared upon the grave battle sight, a blank look on his face before searching out the cause of the cries. Finding the cause the copy gently picked up the infant, craddling the elemental child carrfuly before vanishing into his element.
The copy reappearing in front of the four men, placing the infant in Mak's free arm, it vanished into a golden aura. Mak sighed tired and worn, but fighting to keep his powers and strength up, he needed to protect his family and now this infant as well. Green eye's shimmering slightly he watched the battle with intrest, wondering where his daughter had gone.

(( OWCHIE!!! *beats Rin and eats the pie* Who should we know what you were gonna say? You need to post as death...meanwhile I need to post as an infant *sighs*))
The little child looked up at mak with black eyes, like her fathers. Her hair was completely black, except for one small patch of silver. Her crys had died when Maks copy had taken her and now she seemed to silently watch the person holding her. In one little fist was something else, something that probably would have made everyone shiver had they seen it before now. It was Fenris's silver and black rose, his heart. The infant snuggled the rose and then went to sleep, purring like a kitten as she did so, and not in the least interested in the fight between life and death.

death blocked life's attack with her scythe, moving on instinct and as punishment recieved another crack and tear in her precious ivory weapon. this one effected her heart, the area of the tear occuring right along the base of the blade and handle. this pain was the only pain they could feel, life and death, the physical pain of the heart. a bright red tear formed over death's chest as the strike was taken.
''curse you sister...i was only doing what should be done, what's right! why must you constantly interfere? people can't live forever! take note on the child, go lift her with your presence, and stay out of my business!" Death said angrily. as life delivered her blow death shot her skeletal hand to grab the weapon of her sister's. her touch could deliver death upon anyone, Life herself the only exception. what she intended to do was break life's sword there and now, intent on destroying life's meddling one way or the other. she brought the blade of her scythe down upon the blade of her sister's sword swiftly and cruely.

Life was growing aggitated with her sister. "You were doing your job and I was doing mine you twit!" She growled. "You had the body of a living person! Death can not live inside of a person without corupting their vital spirit you know that!!!" She said simply. As death moved to make her final blow Life vanished. Her sword along with her, but not before deaths scythe had struck. The full blow of the scythe had been avoided but there was still a massive crack in her beautiful blade.
"The child is whole and healthy, I've already seen to that." Life muttered. What she didn't say was that the child was almost purely elemental, and as the other elements had would probably spend most of her life, which would be long for a human, asleep. "You would end me just to take two souls?" Life asked with a harsh laugh. "You are not the Death I remember." She said with a shake of her head. "So which will it be? you in control of life? or me in control of death? because i think one of us will not survive this." She said simply. now take your souls and be damned for it!!"

death's heart beat and it showed in an ominous red glow, both across her chest and blade. "very well" death said coldly, her icy breath escaping from within her cloak's hood. "i'll wait, take but one soul, and then once done i'll go on with the rest" Death said, her smile hidden beneath her hood. She looked to her scythe, it wouldn't last if Life hit it once again. "Curse you, sister..." she growled. There wasn't much she could do before either she was destroyed or Life was.
Death's scythe turned black with its master's mix of hatered and anger as it was aimed at Life. her eyes could be seen though the cloak. with a low, throaty growl death shot to her sister, her mind aimed at the sword. "you only need one crack sister!" she shouted, striking down at her sister's cracked blade.
