And apparently there is something more annoying than breakdancers and glowstickers: conga lines.
lol What the hell?
When dancing, glowstickers and breakdancers stay in roughly one spot. It might be a spot with a meter radius, but at least it's stationary.
A conga line is not stationary. A conga line will run up to you and attack you as you dance. It will appear out of nowhere, a mob in the shape of a line, not so much dancing as simply trying to keep intact at ever increasing speeds. This concentration on staying a conga line leads it to swing wildly, so even if it doesn't hit you head on someone invariably crashes into you if you don't make way. It is steered as much by momentum as by thought, an unrestrained feedback system of inconsiderate steering by the one in front and blind motive force by the ones behind.
No matter where you go it will follow you, since unlike other dancers it feels the need to be in every single part of the room; there is no escape. And once it has come to you, you must wait forever for it to leave.
Plus, there is a possibility of entertainment in glowstickers and breakdancers, as it is possible to develop skill in these two endeavors; the conga line is always the mediocre, untalented masses trading quality in for quantity.
