The Chauffeur smirked. "Stop screwing around? But, Mr. Rivven, it's what I do best."

Charles threw his guns to the ground, simultaneously withdrawing two knives from their arm sheaths and throwing them at the two bits of chain flying at his legs, stopping them were they stood. He rolled forward, getting himself out of the path of the two blasts of water, and withdrew his scythe again. As quickly as he could he began spinning his scythe quickly above his head. So quick, in fact, that it acted like a shield to cover him the raining ice.

All the while he kept his gaze upon Rivven, the feared, piercing eyes of the real Chauffeur looking through his glasses. He knew exactly which of the five was the real Rivven, but if the man wanted nothing held back...

Charles used the momentum of the scythe to hurl it at the closest doppleganger, tipping the scythe just enough to send it on an arc, taking out anything in its path.

Ban walked into the stadium and let out a long whistle. "Wow...big place." He turned, his eyes catching a sign. He stood there for a couple of seconds and then ran over to the sign. "TOURNAMENT!!!! I want in!" He quickly swivelled his head to no avail of finding the person holding it. It was probably too late to let him in anyways...that sucked.

Ban let go of the sign, his hands having slightly crushed the edges from his excitement. He turned with a sigh and began to walk from the stadium. Maybe the forest had something interesting in it. He needed something to do. Then again, he had heard the ocean last night. He would walk there...yeah, sounded like fun.

Covered by the white darkness, Sakura watched her sister, Feena battle some guy named Lee. A smile was plastered on her face, a haunting smile. She was transforming into her shadowmancer self, her ultimate form, but she doesn't know why. She sat in the was back of the stadium. SHe had long lavender hair, black stripes across her face, piercing lavender eyes. She was wearing black minishorts, a lavender tank top, a black long jacket that had a white angel wings sewed on the back of the jacket and miniture ons on the side of the right arm. White lace across her tank top that was hugging her breasts. Her hand was tightly gripping her Reaver pendalum staff as the white lace tied on her legs swayed ever-so gently in the mist of the wind.

Feeling a slight burn from Lee's attack with his sword, she quickly dodged it into her speed and attacked in the side, as his right arm. She slamed the Zanbato into her target with an massive speed, the flames rammed into Lee's body, buring hs skin with and hot steel rubbing off his skin. SHe had a grin on her face as she pictured the pain he was having.

cold steel entered her back and rushed close to her spine.... Lee smirked as he faded away... into nothingness.. it was only a 'Soul Clone'... Lee stood behind her.. he had her impaled on his sword by his left hand... 'Since this is only a tournament.. i can't kill you... but you're done here... the sword so close to your spine made you lose control of most of your body... only your neck is free... and if you move too much... you may cause permanent damage... you put up a great figth but it's over ....'

The doppelganger didn't try to evade the scythe; it rushed straight at it, and burst apart on contact, it's sheild spraying ice and through the air in the direction the scythe had come from. Another of the doppelgangers slid over to the scythe from the side, predicting it's course and coming for it, it's arm stretching out as it neared it, several feet beyond it's body and grabbing a hold of the handle, spinning with the blade and slowing it's momentum down to nothing, then readying it to weild. Rivven meanwhile was busy with the reamains of the first deceased doppelganger, not the spray of the ice and froth, but what had fallen back into the water now sitting about halfway to the knee, flowing through it and wrapping it's self around Chauffuer's legs, winding it's way up. That itself wouldn't do anything, all he had to do was hold his breath and chances were he'd be able to find a way to squirm out of the water if it engulfed him, but that wouldn't really prove a danger. Rivven smiled, slamming more signs together while holding the blood in a sphere inside his larger sphere of water, ready for use when he wanted it; this was just getting better, though he'd like to see if he could get this man into close combat. In a fight for his life he would have been more cautious than that, but this was just for fun after all, so he'd let it be such. Rivven let the water sphere around him shrink, the outer part begginning to twirl and spin forcefully in gracefully violent rings, and at the same time building towers of water above the larger chunks of ice. Very nice. Now, if we can split this further... we'll see how many different things he can anticipate and prevent at once. I hope he does last right up until the end; I'm enjoying this too much, it's been a long time since someone kept themselves alive in a fair fight. They usually get cocky when I take time to regroup, and then nothing lasts long.

It was easy enough to avoid the splatter of ice particles that came from the destroyed doppleganger, rolling out of the way yet again. Charles was really starting to get annoyed by how wet he had become during this fight.

When he watched the water clone stop his scythe completely, he was somewhat impressed. After all, it would take very precise timing, a lot of strength, and a good amount of luck to even get a good grip on the hot, spinning blade, especially for that water clone ((Keep that in mind the next time you consider using a water clone to stop my scythe. I'll let it slide this time.)). But, even more so, it really pissed the Chauffeur off.

"Nobody, and I mean nobody, touches my scythe but me!" Charles started forward, finding it hard to move. He looked down to see the remnants of the doppleganger wrapping around him. He broke away from the thing's grasp with a swift kick, as if the firm grip was nothing more than a pile of powdery snow. He then sprinted across the arena, withdrawing one of his ZMGs, and firing upon the doppleganger. A steady spray of bullets hit the water shield of the doppleganger and, once Charles was close enough, he lunged forwards, grabbing a hold of his scythe, then spun around, slicing cleanly through the doppleganger. If it shattered into chunks of ice, the Chauffeur didn't care, nor could he feel it. It was time to get serious, especially since he was sick of all this water.

Taking the amount of time he needed to focus, Charles raised his scythe into the air, thrusting it hard into the ground. Standing very still, he raised his head towards his opponent and smirked. Anyone standing in the area could feel it, the sudden shifting of ground beneath the surface, and if they couldn't feel it, then the sudden appearance of several large cracks in the earth would give it away. Any loose water would now find itself falling back into the earth, travelling far and fast from Rivven's own position, and over into a deposit just outside the arena, behind Charles.

"You gave me too much to work with, Mr. Rivven," the Chauffeur said, pulling his scythe out of the ground. "Now you get to see me where I shine."

With a hidden burst of energy Charles rushed towards his opponent, into close combat conditions, sending his scythe ahead of him with a flick of his wrist.

Scythe Techniques Used
Hot Knife and Butter: Wielder is able to easily cut through any object as deep as the blade's length.
Resonance: The ultimate scythe technique. Wielder thrusts scythe blade into ground, wall, etc. Wielder uses their spirit energy to cause disruptions into the object, completely destroying the object (if in ground, area up to 100 yards).
Wheel in Motion: Scythe is thrown to the ground, spinning like a wheel, and travels for distances up to fifty feet before returning to owner.

((i thought you already attacked me from behind..))

Feena smirked, the body that was struck wasn't her body, it was one of her shadow minions.
"Did you forget about my decoys? But..i see that you won't quit..so i'll give the win." she said as she motioned towards her black cloak and wrapped around her body. Before leaving into the white darkness she gave Lee a salute then totally vanished from the stadium.

((I had meant it was grabbing the handle, not the blade, but I'm afraid I must have overlooked where you indicated it was heated when he threw it. And your scythe is spinning along the ground? Unfortunatly with the water draining, he would already be off the ground, doing as said below making the dodging of an earth bound blade easy.))

This was a bit of a turn, but not a complete set back, it simply meant he'd have to start moving in a different direction. Even as the water poured through the ground, Rivven took his hold over a large portion of it, bringing it up into the sphere around him, an instead of standing on the ground with the half sphere around him, he let it grow, into a huge orb of water with only the very bottom bit on the ground, lifting him high and holding him at it's center. This didn't bother him anymore than the smaller orb, even emersed in water he could somehow breath it like air. He didn't wonder why, only how to make use of it. Letting the scythe arc through the bottom of his sphere, he quickly froze what water had not dripped thorugh the surface, starting with that around himself and working quickly toward that by his opponents feet and, as if he didn't already know the man would move, that on his body. But this wasn't enough, his water tower remained, the swirling liquid piled and pulled around the chunks of ice just as this sphere was to him, but those would take a moment to attend to. Six of them spread throughout the arena, making a large hexagon of it, consuming most of the arena between if an invisible line were drawn from one to the next. Those would have to wait. His opponent's real threat was his proficiency with the scythe, so he'd try to by some time. As it spun by and beneath him, he kept an eye on it in case of what it still might be able to do, and sent water from the edge of his sphere striking at his opponent in small tendrils, striking like snakes with force enough to drill small bores in the ground where they missed. If his opponent wanted to keep trying to bring him into close combat, that was fine. Let him come, Rivven had been waiting for a chance to fight the man hand to hand since the begginning. This certainly was a thrill, after being forced to take simple assassinations more often than any sort of challenging combat, late in his slavery.

Charles had to skid to a halt as he approached Rivven, watching the water ball become larger. Withdrawing his ZMG again, and bringing out the other one, he began to fire upon the bubble, hoping to break through. It was then that he realized he had been halted again, the water freezing up his legs. This time, however, he didn't try to break free, and kept firing upon the bubble. He avoided the water shots to the best of his abilities, most of the shoots of water getting caught it the shower of bullets. The Chauffeur's aim was trained to be precise and deadly; he'd soon be through that bubble at the rate he was going.

Concentrate hard, Mr. Rivven, he thought, not letting up on his firing. That area on the bubble will pop if I have anything to do with it. Charles didn't let up his stare on Rivven either, even though he knew his scythe had just hit a rough spot on its path, spinning into the air. And, if he knew his scythe (and he did), it would be returning to him, one way or another. Even if it meant coming back at him from its airborn state, right through the bubble, and to where Charles was now frozen in place. Even if it meant that its current trajectory would cause the deadly, spinning weapon to go right through his opponent. Don't underestimate someone who thinks far, far ahead, Mr. Rivven.

Rivven put all his mind to concentration. He knew that scythe would be doing something beyond just spinning, and here was the proof he'd been right to watch it. With the thickness of the water sphere, the bullets trajectory was ruined before they ever reached him, especially because of the current, but they were starting to come closer. Timing is key. It'll all come together, if you can just hold on and let the fruits of your labor come to you, you've planned and observed, and now you just have one last thing before you can bring this to a close. Timing is key... The scythe arced through the air, it cut into his water, a bit stronger than the bullets, and came toward him, and Rivven waited, his hands flying through his jutsu signs before he even needed the spell. Timing is key... The scythe cut toward him, sliding through the water. He'd finished his signs, but it was still only a moment to early. Timing... The scythe spun, blade drawing within feet of him, and it was time to act. Pushing his control throughout the water, he shot himself outward and upward, springing above the top of the sphere and slamming his open palm and other hand making a sign into the spheres top as the scythe took the exact spot he'd been in. All at once, the entire sphere froze, a gigantic ball of ice frozen all the way through. He wasn't done yet. With only a quick call, the towers set into motion, water shooting between them in thick streams, keeping in motion to create a tall wall, sheilding Rivven and the ball of ice with the scythe imobalized in it's center from both sight and bullets, or mostly from bullets, and then similair walls shot out from between the other ones, connecting and pinning his still opponent into a small triangular space, large certainly, but not in comparison to the ring as a whole. He still didn't let himself look away from the scythe, putting a warding onto it's prison, and sitting both of his remaining doppelgngers near it, one to it's left and the other the right. With the walls of water around his opponent, he poured more water from them, their excess, atop him, confinement limiting the amount of water needed, and his immobility making it easy for Rivven to take a moment to freeze this around him as well, up to his waist unless he was greatly mistaken. Now only to deal with his firearms. Through the prison and out the other end, arcing upward as to avoid touching the sphere in the least, he set a wide air current through the spot where his opponent was, or more accuratly a very precise current of the air moisture, restored quite decently by all the thrashing and exploding his water and water doppelgangers had done. It was a wide current, about two yards across, as a thin one would have cut his opponent when the flow disrupted and snapped, and he didn't want to cut clean through the man, but a forceful blow couldn't do him any harm. All was ready and all he had left to do was preperation for action should things somehow take the worst turn, and to rid his opponent of those last two guns. "What do you say Mr. Chauffuer? If you want, we can finish this the old fashion way, hand to hand, no weapons, no magic, or we can keep at things how they are. Your choice." He called from his side. He was quite prepared to use magic more, and not tiring quite yet, and unarmed combat was his strength, trained in that much beyond use of any weapon, even his chain, as they were as both men had proven this match, unreliable. Though he was still suspicous about that scythe.

Charles showed no signs of surprise or fear on his face; rather, a smile once again found itself creeping upon his face. "Hand to hand combat?" the Chauffeur said with a smile chuckle, throwing his ZMGs aside. "Fine with me. But I suppose you'd have to unthaw me and such, since it wouldn't be much of a fair fight otherwise."

This guy's been begging to use close combat this whole time. He's gotta be pretty good then. Hrm... I sure hope all that sparring is going to pay off now, or else Colin, Duo, and Liz'll kick my a** when I get back home.

"You want close-quarters? Then let me out and we can get started."

Rivven immediatly let the air current die, and flicked his hands quickly through more of the signs, a spell for heat, and melting the ice around his opponent. He left up the walls of water and the sphere with the scythe within it however, he wanted to be ready if his opponent tried something. He breifly stretched as the ice melted away, tightening and then loosening his muscles as if they weren't already worked up and prepared. "If you're going to want the first move, go ahead. Otherwise, I can start, if you'd prefer that." He put one foot shoulder width behind the other and raised both hands, palms open.

Charles felt his muscles relax as the ice melted away. This guy was certainly different; all this showing of power and he wasn't showing much fatigue. Oh well, just because someone else has as much stamina as I do... no need to feel jealous.

The Chauffeur took a fighting stance, feeling the weight of his coat swing around him. He could feel the rest of his arsenal sitting very well within the confines of his person, so in case Rivven would try something, he'd be quite ready.

"You first, Mr. Rivven; age before beauty and all. I mean, it's rather obvious your outward appearance is a far cry from how old you really are, what with all the power you've been flashing around today." Charles really didn't like magic users.

Kasai entered the giant stadium, yawning as he did so. He looked around the stadium slowly, just simply seeing if there was any competition.
