I think this'll do for our first visit. The other half of the restaurant is more traditional in its seating. I think Tasuki's old bones might get uppity if he had to sit at a low table...

Mercenary Paladin Show you "old", you furball... I ain't old! Not a bad place, though. And I ate at your folks' place last week! Old bones....frakkin' wiseass... Deidra leaned over to cut off his grumbling with a kiss and wandered over to take a seat closest to the corner. "So? What's on the menu? I'm starved!" she grinned at Genju.

That was smooth, 'neh-chan. And if you guys have never been to a place like this, let me explain how it works: We order our food and one of the chefs will come over and cook it on the inlaid grill here. The cooking is as much a performance as anything, so you're in for a treat.

And if you guys have never been to a place like this, let me explain how it works: We order our food and one of the chefs will come over and cook it on the inlaid grill here. The cooking is as much a performance as anything, so you're in for a treat. Deidra's eyes widened and she sat up to glance around the place. "Oooo...interesting..."

Sage sighed for the uncounted time in the past hour that he had been sitting in the waiting area of the police station. He had been told to sit out here as he was not privy to the information thta was to be presented to Alex even after explain he was her boyfriend. His mother was allowed in as an adult that Alex trusted, she had gently told him to do as the officer wished and that Alex would be fine. The desk clerk made a huffing noise bring him out of his thoughts, he must have sighed out loud again as the woman looked rather annoyed. Sage smiled at the woman as he got up and walked down the hall to the vending machine, searching his pokets he found enough coins to get the nutty bar that his stomach was plaguing him about. With a thump the machine deposited the snack, retrieving it he wandered back to the waiting area and plopped back into his chair. The clerk was not at her desk anymore and he looked at the clock, he wanted to smack it for a moment as it glared back at him telling him he had been sitting around for well over an hour.
