Chemical_Kitten Well, she is called nanny and my mom's dad is my granddad. He is such a nice and funny and smart guy... heart It was him that got me into science in the first place. From a very early age (we're talking fourish), he'd be teaching me little random science facts and such... *sigh* I loved it. heart On my dad's side, they are called my nanna and pop. 3nodding I don't remember what my grandparents ever did for me, in that regard anyway.
No, nothing profound from any of my grandparents. That's kind of sad. sweatdrop

fire_eyez I don't do fantasy either. Stuck on earth? xd The only TV I watch is pretending to watch the news eating dinner to save time, and All Saints. But I don't think I'm meant to say that cos it's supposedly shameful. o_o; All I watch is Stargate (when I can) The Simpsons, Iron Chef (when I'm not out) Star Trek (when it's taped) and Desperate Housewives.

That's kind of sad. sweatdrop Aww, I've got photos of me when I'm only about a year old and propped up with a dictionary on my lap and my grandad's glasses on... xp I still remember an argument I had with my grandad. I was only about three at the time... It was regarding the fact that nothing is ever the same, but similar. I would collect the little white coral-like rocks in the garden and I went up to tell him that I found two that were the same. He said they weren't the same, but identical. stare He told me that nothing was ever identical, only similar. My argument was, that if nothing was ever the same, then why have a word for it? Why have a word for something that doesn't exist? sweatdrop Now I understand that nothing can ever be completely identical... but still. I think it was funny. xp Wow, that's a fairly depthy discussion to be having at the age of three; I would never have said anything like that, I guess I was just too shy and quiet. He's clever. 3nodding Yeah I know, but I've always spelt it as "mom" from an early age... besides, "mom" is easier to type. It uses alternating fingers for the letters, being the right index finger, then the right ring finger followed by the right index finger again. To type "mum", you have to use the same finger, your right index finger" for the whole world. So therefore, typing "mom" is more time and effort efficient. 3nodding I've already been through this with Wellzy... sweatdrop
