"Whatever we are? Shadow born you mean?" He gave a snort then a chuckle. "You sound quite irritated." He then looked to Aurora. "Aurora, this is K'erith, apparently he is trapped here and can't get out." A look back to K'erith. "K'erith, Aurora." Stepping off the stairs entirely he sat back on his haunches as he splayed a wing slightly and took to preening a few feathers in bird like fashion. "Maybe you're just trying too hard to get out K'erith."

Aurora tilted her head at the K'erith. She followed Eclipse and sat near him, watching him preening his feathers.
HE SAID I WAS PRETTY!
Nelphean rubbed his head for a moment, and then continued singing to Bastet, "Aurora's back."
The stack of rocks droped, as Nelphean looked towards the manor, and frowned slightly, before laughing.

"Pleasure." he quickly intoned to the girl.
"Yes yes, 'shadowborn'." he rolled his eyes. "That b*****d." he mumbled. He looked at Eclipse and rolled his eyes. "I suppose you want the whole story" he noticed the thinly veiled question in the dogs remarks..."Well, its pretty simple, rather cliche'd actually. Inquisitive boy of twenty-something, kidnapped by a dabbler in the dark arts, sacrificed, created again as a medium, the whole shmeer." he quickly took up an intense interest in the dirt under hisfinger nails, he hated it when people looked at him, and the dog had a habit of watching people rather intently.

In the graveyard, two images formed. one was the Old Vah, the other was a regal looking lion with a full mane.
"I told you not to interfere, Saka. I can handle this."
"And such a good job you've done. You haven't done a damn thing since bending the rules to get him out of that comatose state."
"He hasn't needed any help. and with the way things are now, your idea of help could make things worse. I can't move around in his head you know, any more than you can."
You should have seen the signs. you shouldn't have let him stop Hunting, for any reason. you should have noticed the heightened lethargy.
"We can argue about this all eternity. but forcing them into this is not going to help. in fact it'll probably hinder. you know he won't risk danger to her, and the rest. it's his purpose for living now. thier protection."
"And what about when it becomes to late for him to do anything about it? when he finally falls? that danger is far greater than the injuries a few of these..people..might take."
"They coudl be killed, Saka, and you know it."
Better one or two of them die then the loss of life in that genocidal rage that will become him.

A paw raised to his feathers momentarily, clawing out a few that seemed to be defiant and rather frayed looked. Then he cast a glance first to Aurora then to K'erith. "Seems you follow that same tragic path that most others here have. But I beg to ask, why don't you just sit back and try to enjoy your stay here? It's not like we're a bad bunch.
She stirred in her sleep, ears twitching. As most young children did she woke rather early. Except this morning she found herself in between Aurahkah and Saradin, Saradin's arm over them both. Ecara wiggled out from under his arm, and sat up stretching her arms and wings, then stood on the bed. A kiss to her mother's cheek, one to Saradin and she dropped off the bed.

Aurora had recovered from this puppy love while she was living with Nelphean's children at his estate just down the road, but one look at that beautiful canine and his... Aurora's eyes glazed over...

"Right," he replied sarcastically, "So, what do you people do around here for fun? Parcheesy? Reading? Blood sacrifices under the full moon?" truth be told, it wasnt that bad a place, he might even feel comfortable here. But the fact that he had to be here drove him crazy.

"More along the lines of tease each other without mercy, fight random evils, and all try to keep same. Sometimes we read and play games, and make blood sacrifices under the full moon, but that's only on special occasions." He followed the line of sarcasm without effort. He stood and flapped his wings once to straighten his feathers, which were promptly ruined when he was slammed into by the small child. "And the daughter is up." He looked to Ecara and nuzzled her ears.
"Morning daddy." A hug to the one wolf before she walked over to the other and hugged Aurora as well. She was in a huggy mood. Ecara then looked to K'erith and blinked dual colored eyes at him, he looked frustrated.

K'erith looked at the small girl, they affect she had on him anoyed him to no end. "Hmph." he said, then looking down at her, broke into his mischevous grin. She does have potential, he thought, she would make a supreme accomplice.

Aurora was caught off guard by the sudden affection from the child, which reminded her of Tyler... She missed Tyler, he was such a cute boy when he was sleeping. She looked at the ground for a moment, distracted by her not so distant memories, but then a sly look appeared on her face. She slowly faded, her form slowly disolved into the air...
Suddenly, as though the jaws of some monsterous creaute had suddenly appeared around Eclipse's tail, teeth closed around it with a gentle touch, perhaps some hiddeous creature ready to devour the tail, but no, just the mad affection of a delusional she-wolf, who's colours reappeared when her mouth took hold of the tail.

Ecara squinted an eye at K'erith trying to decipher him. In the end she reverted back to her own ways, hands clasping behind her back and she gave the man a fanged grin. "Hello."
Eclipse gave a snort and looked behind himself again. "Back to tail biting Aurora? And here I though that you had grown out of that." He gave his tail a swish to remove it from her mouth then turned to her and gave a bat of his wings, creating a gust on here merely to ruffle both her fur and feathers.
Kali stood next to the angel statue, observing those who weren't usually there. Yes, they seemed to be spririts of some type, but they weren't any she was familiar with. Good thing Coban was resting, he'd throw a fit.

K'erith smiled in reply, he shook his head. He crossed his legs into a sitting position while still in the air, resting a hand under his chin. "Odd. How something so... cute," he blanched at the use of the term "can come from something so" turning to Eclipse, "ugly. eh, puppy?" he grinned.

Aurora basked in Eclipse's attention, she would ahve blushed, had that been possible. SHe looked away from him sheepishly, and opened her wings, and gave him a gust of her own.
Then K'erith called Eclispe ugly. Aurora turned towards him and growled loudly. "He's a very Hansome KNIGHT" Her fur ruffled a little bit, before she moved and hid behind Eclipse, place the older and more talerent of the two wolves between her and the Bad man.

"I beg your pardon?" One ear flopped back.
Ecara's one ear flopped back in similar fashion at K'erith. "Daddy isn't ugly. I got my ears and tail and wings from daddy. How can I be cute and daddy ugly?" Extensive sentences for one who looked like a four year old.
A look to Ecara. "And I thought it wasn't true what your mother said. Saradin Phoenix did convince you to change your talking." He then glanced back to Aurora who was now behind him.
Her eyes narrowed. Kali didn't like whats he was hearing at all. So stepping out from behind the statue she made herself know to the other two who were treading in her territory. "May I caution you to your words, for I am not liking what I am hearing."
