Turik walked along the edge of the forest by the lake. It felt good to get out of that stuffy library for a change. It was high time he left his past were it was, he had a new home now. He spotted Nelphean down at the lake, he was singing. Turik couldnt decipher the words, but he found that a common thing here at the manor. Turik walked over, "Greetings Nelphean."

The elf stopped singing, and looked at the person who addressed him. "Hello, good morning." Nelphean offered, he really wasn't much for conversations, but this fellow was friendly.
"Enjoying the air, the songs of the wind and the fallen fey?"

It seemed that the elf didnt recognize him from their first meeting, or, wait, was that a different elf? They certainly looked the same. "Dont let me keep you." he intoned slightly confused, he continued walking 'round the lake.

Bastet stood in the middle of a stone building. Looking around herself, she saw the gates the held her in, the only building with doors, these doors mainly used to keep people in instead of out. Blood was on the floor in streaks and puddles where bodies had been dragged then stopped to lay in their own crimsom pools. "Why again?" Then screams were heard and she extended her claws as if they would help. This was not the same as when she was a slave, this was very different, but remembered. A gate leading to darkness was opened and a growl was heard from beyond it. The creature slinked into the partial light of the room and pounced opening it's jaws.
At that moment Bastet woke up with a start, breatheing hard. Her claws were really out and she had spoken again. One shake of her head to scatter the thoughts from her mind and she gazed about her, noticing that she was still outside with her elf. How long had they been there? Sighing she rubbed her eyes and hugged Nelphean tight to her, suddenly very cold.

Nelphean hugged Bastet with equal strength, and he whispered softly into her ear,"Calm, Nelphean is here and will keep you safe..."
He sat up, and craddled Bastet in his arms, and sung softly to her. His voice was soothing, and his skin was warm against hers.
"I am sorry I couldn't make you forget all your troubles." The elf said after a few verses. "At least I lived up to my mother's motto:"
"If they can stand, you have not finished yet."

Bastet listened to his singing and her eyes half closed as she was held in his arms. So he was awake and saw her freak out slightly. Great, that was great. She seemed so weak lately, she hated it, and would have to change it. "My troubles are pushed away when I am with you. However you can not always control my own thoughts in my dreams, I can not control them. They seem to come of their own strange will." It was comforting. "I will get over them."

"Of course you will." Nelphean considered his dream spell, but decided not to offer it. That spell had a few nasty consequences from his previous uses.
"Why do you think you are troubled so deeply?" The elf wrapped the pair in a blaket that he seemed to have pulled from thin air, but he knew exactly where it came from, and Nailah might have a good idea too.

Bastet felt the blanket and snuggled in it against Nelphean. Why did they bother her again? "I am not sure..." She shook her head lightly, flicking her ears, "I believe I deserve the trouble, well some of it anyway." Whatever it was, she had to face her thoughts eventually. Just not right now.

Nelphean wrapped his arms tighter around Bastet, and rocked her slowly in his arms. "When was the last time you were so deeply in love?"

With a loud thud and a snort Eclipse hit the floor as he practically jumped awake from his sleep. He had successfully rolled himself off of Saradin's bed, which he found had no Saradin in it. Standing he shook out his fur and feathers and then padded to the wall, shadow walking through it and out into the hall. The wolf slowly made his way downstairs, yawning. Well at least he felt a bit more rested...Ecara sure could give someone the run around.

"Hello hansome." Aurora barked towards Eclipse, as she sat near the stair case. "You look... Blissful." She waged her tail slightly, thinking Eclispe weak and weary. The she wolf wore a flower crown on her head, and flower armlets around her paws.
"How is the brave knight these days?"

K'erith narrowed his eyes, the dog was awake somewere. He passed through a number of walls. He heard padded footsteps.
"Dog!" were are you? he turned as the the giant Wolf walked sleepily down the hall. "Were have you been? No, dont answer that."

His ears perked as he came to the last step and he turned to face Aurora. He blinked at her then gave her a rough from sleeping but not unpleasant soft bark. "Morning Aurora. You look...pretty." He shook his head again to settle still sleep tousled fur. "Tired from chasing children, but recovering. So what's the occasion? For the flowers I mean?" His ears then flicked back at shouting and he looked behind himself, spotting K'erith. "I have a name you know. And why is it so urgent that you know where I've been?"

Aurora closed the distance between her and Eclipse, and looked at the stranger who seemed iritated with her knight. "Even the bravest Knights Need there Rest." She said with a slight growl, but not hostile. The second shadow wolf was slightly smaller than Eclispe with different, female, distributaitons of the mass.

"Ive searched the whole manor, its like an electric cage, theres not one opening." he snapped, annoyed. He remembered talking to Turik in the library.
"And none of those useless 'books' has anything on the subject." It was getting frightfully hard to go around the manor without smacking into a wall he couldnt go through. He sighed,
"In eight thousand years I never thought it would be so difficult to be..." he paused, for once at a lack of words, "whatever...we are."
