Bastet's smile turned to a grin until she finally broke her serious act with a laugh, "I can not help what words travel on the wind to a cat's ears. I can only say that I hear a lot." Bastet looked at Aura who was choking some, "Calm down Aura, do not choke on that coffee. They are merely words after all."

She didn't even bother to finish that cup, she simply poured it out and dropped it into the sink. "Well if you hear too much, you just might get yourself in trouble, especially if you investigate such things. Curiosity did kill the cat after all."

Bastet smiled again now that Aura was done with her seemingly never ending coffe drinking phase, "Yes, curiousity did kill the cat. Good thing cats have nine lives and I'm still on my first." She moved to get herself a second cup of coffee, "Besides all is good in innocent fun and friendly torture, I wont tell anyone else. Cat Woman's promise with no claws crossed."

"Only because you can't be killed." She crossed her arms. "Cat woman's promise? That's a new one to cross my path. And whether or not, it will get around." Aura thought for a moment, racking her coffee buzzed brain. "I bet you got that from Dagan...didn't you?"

Bastet looked shocked, "Well, I am a relatively new thing to cross anyones path," She stood up and played with her mug finally washing it out at the sink, then she looked over to Aura innocently, "What makes you think Dagan told me?"

"Too see a cat woman cross anyone's path would be a first unless they were planning to meet you." Hoshi chuckled a bit and looked around the coffee maker to examine it. "This funny little contraption makes COFFEE? Where do you put the beans in this mechanism thing?" she muttered. Clearly she was fasinated, totally distracted from the conversation.

Okay...coffee was bad. Most likely worse than not sleeping. Not sleeping made her crazy, coffee made her edgy. "At least you're not bad luck, at least I hope not. And I mentioned Dagan, cause well Dagan is a little mind reader with no sense for privacy."

Bastet whirled around to see someone she didn't know, "Oh, Hello! Yes it makes coffee. You put the powder in there, not the beans themselves. Would you like a cup?" She turned to Aura, "You have had too much coffee. Well, I think Dagan should be spoken to about that. Are you mad at him now?" Then Bastet turned back to watch the girl curiously, "It seems that I have failed to notice another new person. Hello, I am Bastet, Who are you?"

Wide-eyed, Hoshi turned around to face the cat woman named Baset. "My name is Hoshi-Liu, but Hoshi is just fine." She smiled a bit, being nervous of meeting new people or cat people for that matter.

In a sleep deprived, coffee hyped state Aura had failed to notice the new presence as well. She looked out the window, noticing it to be noon, if not a little past that judging by the sun. "Boy...how much coffee have I had?" She shook her head a moment, turning her attention to noted new presence, and smiled. "Nice to meet you Hoshi, I'm Aurahkah, Aura if you prefer."

"Hello, Aura. I'm glad I came here. Perhaps this Dagan you speak of shouldn't nosy into other people's busisness, if you perfer to tell him that." Hoshi thought for a moment, then chuckled. "Or perhaps his ability to read minds wanders often." She turned again to the coffee maker and looked over the glass container holding the remaining dregz of coffee.

She side-glanced Aura, "Way too much coffee, it is what we tried to tell you though." She switched to Egyptian, "Sweet cakes" Bastet laughed again before turning to Hoshi and in english said, "Nice to meet you Hoshi. Hoshi, that's a nice name. Dagan is a cute kid but needs to learn to control his powers or stop being nosy."

Aura chuckled in a slightly nervous tone. "For now he can do what he wishes. I'm not on the best of terms with his father, and I dont' want to wander into that territory with him again..." She glared slightly at Bastet. "You're going to use that to full advantage aren't you?"

"Sorry Aura, I can not help who I am." She smiled and winked as she walked towards the door. "Well, I am sorry that I can not stay and talk more, but I have something I must attend to. Goodbye, nice meeting you Hoshi." With that she walked to her room laughing to herself.

Nods in return and smiles. "I also have to return to my quarters, i'll take my leave. Goodbye Aura." Slightly bows and walks away, but can still be heard muttering, "Imagine! a coffeemaker..."
