islanders_CO39 She had heard Grave speak, but would answer him after Kyo. She took in a short breath when he blocked her path to leave. She looked up at him, but soon turned her gaze away. "You're not useless, nor is it your fault...I was kidnapped and I broke my arm and I was left in the snow to basically die and I got sick. All my other injuries were acting up, as well as the poison that I was shot with when you saved me...its anything but your fault. If I didnt change into a vampire I would have died anyways...please....dont blame yourself..." Her voice quivered and a small whimper was heard as she was on the verge of crying and her hands were trembling. Kyo pulled her into a hug,"Its ok...where are we going now?"

She was shocked that he still wanted to be with her and that he hugged her. She tried to blink back her tears, but a few fell from her eyes as she gladly returned his hug. "I dont know...a lot of my friends...including my brother are dead..." She paused briefly before going on. She made a gesture to the fire, the bed, and everything else throughout the small cave. "A friend who helped me has died and this was his home, but he said I could stay and that it can be my home now..." She smiled at him.

Ranae slept restlessly. Her sleep as of late was always plagued with dreams of the nightmare that was her childhood. Ranae shot up from where she had been sleeping in the cool grass, her clothes weatsoaked and her body trembling uncontrollably. She cursed under her breath and leaned over to take her seeing cane and small pack with spare clothes. She slowly made her way into the woods where her keen ears picked up the sound of trickleing water. She made her way over to it, making no nose except the lightltapping of her cane on the ground ahead of her, looking out for roots that would try to trip her.

Ranae stopped when her cane splashes in water. She stopped and listened sharply to her surroundings. A family of rabbits rest in their hole. A mother robin feeds her nestlings in their tree, and frogs called greetings to each other from across the spring. No humans were aaround to peep on her as she stripped off her sweat soaked clothing and plunged into the pool.

She heard Lin's voice behind her and she turned around to see him standing there. She had switched from her wet kimono to a dry one, which was black with tiny flowers embroided in white and light pink. She had switched her satin arm guards and boots to black ones and she kept her hair in her low ponytail. "Oh...hello Lin" She gave him a small smile, locking her gold gaze with his.

Rane splashed the cool water on her face and long raven hair, which she had taken from their ratty braids and begun to finger comb. She scrubbed herself until she was sure her skin was rosy with cleanliness. She then climbed from the pool and quickly dried off with a towel from her pack. She then dressed in a black lond sleevedshirt that wrapped around and tucked into a blood red sash. It was quite kimono-like except that it only went down to her mid thigh. She wore blood red baggy pants to match her sash. They tucked in to knee high black leather riding boots. She grabbed her pack and seeing cane and made her way back to where she had woke.

She turned from the cave, leaving Lin there, hoping that he would not harm Kyo. She had pulled one of her black cloaks around her shoulders before she left, but she did not pull up the hood to cover her mid back length red hair. She put a hand to her mouth and sure enough, her new vampire fangs were as real as ever. She ran her tongue over the points and then looked down at her hands with her claw like fingernails in which she could slash through anything with. Realizing the most obvious thing and why she felt so weird, she was hungry...for blood.
