Not to adept to catch flying objects she merely shied away from the orb and let it bounce onto the floor, and watched it roll a foot or two before it came to a stop and then floated a little. She stared at it a moment before running up to it and grabbing it.l Holding it in the crook of one arm she walked out the kitchen, grabbing Saradin's hand and almost dragging him with her outside.
Aura merely contented herself with watching them leave, knowing that Ecara would be quite fine with Saradin. Then her attention floated back to Nelphean. "Then perhaps you are looking far to hard Nelphean."

"I do not look, so much as it is shown. What I see is not the future, but a future." He looked at Aurahkah, and felt slightly more comfortable. Nelphean had developed a love for being with one person at a time, they always seemed easier to talk to.
"Maybe, its the past I see, and don't know it." The elf walked to the table, and sat respectfully away from Aurahkah. "My mind does not dwell too deeply within the powers of..." Nelphean couldn't explain it, he had no one explain it to him, so he was at mostly a loss...
"Its all experimentation and training that lets me know anything. I woke up one moment, able to feel and know peoples emotions, followed by thoughts, and every so often, I see an image of the future, I think." The elf shruged. "I can stop Nailah from reading my emotions, which has saved her a great deal of grief, I think. Can you imagine what my troubled soul might do to her mind?" The elf asked softly, "Or do you think I should let her into my mind, to see the horrors that rest there, and cry out when I sleep." Nelphean chuckled, "When I do sleep."

Outside Saradin had to run to keep up with Ecara as she hauled him away. "Wow, youre enthusiastic arent you? So then, are you going to give up the ball willingly? Or do I have to get it?" Smiling at her as he stood a few feet away, he stared at the orb she carried like it was the goal of his life. Then he went for it, playfully trying to grab the toy away from her.

All depends on what you're trying to see I think. Best to go blind sometimes." She tapped her nails on the table. "Empath powers out of nowhere, it would seem strange to get them like that anywhere but here. but you sound more like a seer than an empath to me, if you speak of visions. And as far as letting Niah into your head...I think you should refrain, or at least ask her...she's been taking certain things quite hard lately and theres no need to stress her out.
A predatory glint hit her eyes as Saradin made a move for the orb, then she ran to him, ducking under and between his legs, clutching the little ball tightly. She stood there a moment with it, tail flicking back and forth, grinning at him so that fangs were exposed. "Ecara's."

Cymarron got himself up out of his Den...and dragged himself into the kitchen, somewhat depressed. He was certain he'd ruined everything with Nailah. He gave his feline yawn, and moved through the kitchen, his eyes dulled somewhat, and not really paying all the much attention to what was going on, and went out into the main hall and to the library..digging around, found pencil and paper, plenty of it, and moved back through the kitchen toward his den.
"Tell Nailah to let us know when classes start."
And back out to his Den, where he settled on the floor, to his own thoughts.

"I left my prison, and suddenly the world became very loud. I found myself seeing and feeling forces that I have never dreamed of..." Nelphean tilted his head slightly, "And then I was wisked away on a wolf to save a cat from his tormentors." Nelphean looked at his hands, "Why did you think I don't mistake you for Rakka more frequently?" Nelphean's cloak seemed very much like a good hiding place.

"Because you tasted freedom." That was her simple answer. "Take it from me Nelphean, I know a thing or two about the taste of freedom, especially after it has been snatched away from you." She propped her elbows on the table as she watched him. "I don't know, why don't you tell me why you don't' mistake me for Rakka?"

"Not for long!" Saradin came again, trying to nab continually at the ball she carried, always getting close, but always seeming to miss at the last second. "You cant run forever Ecara!" He happily claimed as he grabbed again for it. And he continued in this fashion chasing her around and trying to steal away the orb only to fail for a minute or two, before coming around to a question as they continued to play. "So, why do you talk about yourself like that Ecara? Everyone else says I and me, why dont you?" Again he pretend lunged, trying to get at the toy she held.

"You feel different." Nelphean's eyes looked int Aurahkah's. "You look different, you stand different, you walk different, you talk different, you are different." Nelphean said in short slurr, but his eyes slowly changed, making him appear wounded, but the rest of his body remainded the same.
"You can't imagine how looking at you makes me feel..."

The question drew her ears back as she was running thus her head, and in a moment of distraction, Saradin had successfully taken the object from her. Except now she had hold of his leg. If he had it then she wasn't going to let him run off with it easily. Resting her chin against his leg, Ecara looked up to him, one ear flopped back in Eclipse fashion. "How is anyone supposed to know that it's Ecara, Ecara is talking about? Like Cymarron, he does it too." Both ears popped back up. "Why do you use I and me?"
She let her hands drop back down to the table, again tapping her nails. "Rightly so, I technically am different from her." Aura diverted her attention some to out the window, Ecara and Saradin easily seen in the courtyard. Then she side glanced Nelphean. "Does it hurt to be around me Nelphean?"

"Mine." Saradin held the ball close to himself and began to walk, a slow shuffly walk where he dragged his leg behind him with her still attached. Hoarding the toy away from her he happily ignored the weight on him as he inched back towards the manor. "Everyone knows who Ecara is, because we know you. But when you say things like Cymarron does, we think you dont know who you are. We say I and me because it shows that we mean ourselves, not just somebody who has the same name as us. Cymarron wasnt allowed to say I or me when he was growing up, and now it makes things hard for some people to understand him." Then he fell, it was a fake fall, but he landed face first in the grass all the same, and the glowing ball rolled away slowly in the green flooring.

The elf looked at the table, and he seemed to not be able to answer, "The trick with devils, they know how to cause you the most pain." Nelphean replied, "The calculate everything, and maximise the horror."
"Letting me see you has caused me more pain than any device they had in the pit," His voice weakened alittle, but he allowed himself to continue, not wishing to drag this coversation longer than it had to be. "They let me live, so I could be tortured by the fact that Rakka wasn't supposed to be tortured. They let me see you, the free and now happy, version of my tortured family..." He stood and walked to the fridge, and pulled the ice cream from the freezer. He used his mind to grab a spoon, and he sat back down.
"Sweet taste, for the bitter tears." He opened the container, it was almost empty. "You really are an Angel, Aurahkah." He ate a spoonful.
His mood cheered up slightly, "Free from hidding the burden I feel, but not so free from the contempt I hold for myself, unable to give Rakka what she wanted more than anything else." Nelphean ate another spoonful. "Everything you now have."
"So I am hurt by you, because I failed her. And now I dwell in my guilt and hide from the crowds so I can endure this secret desire that I could have brought her back here to everything she wanted..."
"Now how can both you and Rakka have everything, when there is not enough to share between the two of you." Nelphean ate the last spoon full.
"And now I am saddened by the loss of this ice cream." The elf laughed softly, and heartfully.

She calculated her words slowly. "I don't think Rakka would of liked it here. Come now, do you honestly believe she would of been happy seeing me here, knowing that she truly didn't own it. I knew a man like that once...foudn himself out to be the shadow some another...it tore him apart in a sense, he lost who he was." Saradin. "And I fall very short of angel, believe me Nelphean." Standing she walked over to him and pat him on the shoulder. "You know she wouldn't of wanted you to feel this way, or hide away, so you shouldn't." A squeeze to his shoulder and a soft laugh. "And there's more ice cream in the back of the freezer, perhaps even more in the walk in." Another smile to him and she turned from him, stepping from the kitchen. "Excuse me, I have a nursery to plan."
Ecara crawled up the fallen Saradin, sitting on his back. "So since you all know who Ecara is, it's okay to say me and I without confusing everyone? Okay...Ecara understands." She crawled over him more, and grabbed for the ball. "Mine." Then she jumped up and ran again.

She has no idea what I am talking about, ok... Nelphean looked at the empty ice cream contaner, and shook his head. He went and found the walk in freezer, and opened the door to look upon a very chilled fire serpet. Nelphean didn't feel like dealing with it at the time, so he jsut walked around the crippled creature and found the ice cream, mostly melted. "You did this, didn't you!" A buzzing sound errupted, and the salamander never saw the light of the sun again.
The elf looked at the ice cream, and frowned, wondering if it was still eatable. He closed the freezer behind him, and left the diced Salamander on the floor.

Tyler laughed happily and began to splash in the bath.
"Don't splash Tyler. You're getting me all wet."
"But Miss Niah needs a bath too. How come I have to take a bath and you don't?"
"I do take a bath Tyler. I just do it when you're already asleep."
"Oh fine." He stopped splashing and looked at her. "I'm clean, can I play now?"
She laughed and grabbed a towel, then held it up for him. "Come on. Out you go."
He jumped out of the tub and felt her wrap the towel around him. "H-hurry M-Miss Niah. I-it's cold." he said his teeth chattering.
Niah wrapped him up tightly and hugged him. She dried him off quickly and then grabbed his clothes to dress him.
"I wanna do it!"
"Ok no need to get testy!" She said handing him the clothes.
He put them on and then grinned at her. "So what are we gonna do now?"
