"Our home Saradin." She shifted just the slightest in his hold to press a gentle kiss to his lips before settling herself again in his arms, dropping her head to his chest, tucking her head under his chin. "And we'll have each other to keep from falling." Aura gave another sigh and smiled, letting her eyes drift half closed. Yes, she had been awake those two days watching Saradin and not junked on coffee either. "Despite the troubles...we need each other. You know...I think I've finally found what I've been holding on all these years for. I love you Saradin."
If Eclipse could smile he would of, but he most certainly was on the inside. He extended a wing so that end feathers brushed over both Saradin and Aurahkah then retracted his wing again to let it lay over Ecara. "Saradin Phoenix...no wonder you've always came back..." A snort of an approving nature before he laid his head on his forepaws. "I think you'll fit nicely into our life."
((And I have a govt. test tomrrow, so I'm out. Night guys.))

He remained where he was for a short time, and then moved back to his Den, not caring too much about the crash or anything for that matter. at the present, the Beast within was whispering to the growing darkness. The desire to hunt, the sadistic ingrained need to kill and hear the sounds of the dying was getting stronger the longer he refused to Hunt. The beast whispered of the Vah rite of challenge, the ritual combat that allowed suitors to fight and potentially kill eachother for a female they both wished for. whispered of the danger Elias presented with his dark power, that he not only could end that potential danger, but eliminate his only competitor.
she knows what you are. she saw it in the tavern. that's why she pulled away from you. disguise it all you want, but you are a predator, Cymarron. a killer.
He sat, smelling her scent in his den, faint as it may be, and the scent of Tyler, and looking at his claws. picutring in his mind as they must have looked that night, covered in the blood of others.
Yes, you see it. Now do you think she will not only choose the one who isn't human, but the killer? the murderer? Now that she knows of me?
"We gave our word. We would let the winds take us where they would, and not bring the storms."
Your word? so which of your promises are the most important? to protect Nailah, and this Pack of yours...or to let him take her away and you know as that power grows he will be comsumed by it. he's a threat to both interests

No reason? His power thrives on pain, just as yours is fed by the blood of others. It feeds on pain. the more it feeds, the stronger he gets. when it consumes him, and it will, he will seek to cause others pain to feed the power. Just as you will break, and Hunt in time. no matter how much you try to deny it, you will Hunt.

Becuase you know it. you've just turned a blind eye to it. you can feel that dark essence inside him. the presence of an unclean spirit within his flesh

Elias had been standing there in the courtyard of the manor for about fifteen minuted now. He was slient deadly, silent something was runnin through his mind. Her name as always Naliah, and his love for her. He had made a promise that he would not challenge Sir Cymarron, but to this day he could not grasp why it was the Cymarron had need to ask this. "He is a man born from shadows, his demons are strong and the best that rages inside of him calls for blood" ELias said, but who has he to judge this man. Had he not slaughthered one hundred men, women and chldren in a bloodied frenzied over one hundred years ago? Perharps, he thought to himself this is why I can fight the darkness which comes from the pain of others. Elias let out a powerful sigh, this Archaic manor was a strange and powerful place indeed. He had lost his life here, but somehow even in his life he found his way back. He had to thank whatever great forces were froged in this house, because they had granted him back something he though he had lost forever, his young daughter Esmeralda, and through her once more his wife. She say so much of her in that sweet child's smile. Magdalena always did that, he never once saw her frown or shed a tear, there was always a smile on that beutiful face. Even as she lie dying in his arms, she did not shed one single tear, she smiled as Elias pulled that trigger. "I am sorry Magdalena." Elias said to the winds, he knew that he could him, the dead could hear the thoughts of the living directed at them. "I fear that your old Elias is gettig lonely once more, I will always love you my sweet Magdalene but I think that the time has come for me to move on. I will see you around, see you again at the end of the room querida." Elias said as he blew a soft delicate kiss into the wind, he had not spoken to hear like this in a very long time, and he knew that he would speak to her again, it felt good to know that Magdalena would never really die as long as Esmeralda was still in his powerful arms. And Elias would protect her always, he vowed there on that courtyard to never see Esmeralda sad, always smile like her sweet momma. A single tear rolled down his face, as he looked up into the night sky Elias didn't know how to explain it, but in that instant it felt as if the wind itself had kissed him, and that the wind smelled of sweet orchids, like his wife. Elias smiled, "I will always love you dear." Elias said as he strolled back into the arms of the one of the woman he loved. Esmeralda stirred for a moment as she saw her father's massive frame, but only smiled that sweet innocent smile of hers, wrappind her body around his massive arm both fell into a deep sleep nestled hapily in each other's warmth.

Saradin wouldnt be falling asleep anytime soon, so he just relaxed with his shoulder against the wall and held onto her as she slowly fell asleep. "I love you too Aurahkah." His hand ran through her hair softly as the bit of glowing blue light from her eyes was snuffed by closing eyelids. "Our home." Shutting his eyes he breathed deep the scent of her hair and sat there waiting, listening to her as she slept, feeling her heartbeat through her, and thinking about little other than her and the family he'd gained.
((Okay, so it took ten and a half hours to respond. So? Moving along...))

A little odd noise was heard, like a mix between a whimper, growl, and laugh all at the same time. Sitting up suddenly, popping up from under Eclipse's wing she looked around, ears slightly flattened. That is until dual colored eyes settled themselves on Saradin and Aurahkah. Well she wasn't sitting the that chair by the window anymore so that must of mean Saradin was better. Ecara raised her hands to her eyes, rubbing sleep from them. "Mommy..." A tug at her mother's ankle.
She made a rather discontented noise, one hand on Saradin's jacket gripping tight for a moment before relaxing. "Five more minutes... Aura sighed in her sleep, content and not very inclined to waking up at just that moment. She really did mean five minutes.
That look of trying to be upset again crossed her features. Mommy had her eyes closed, daddy did, Saradin Phoenix did...was she the only one with them open. Another harsher tug. "Mommy! I'll bite...." And she wasn't bluffing either.
In half sleep she mumbled in her own tongue, which was common for her. "No biting Ecara...how many times to I have to tel-Ow!" Well now she was awake as little fangs pricked her ankle. Raising her head from Saradin's chest she glanced down at the girl...who was smiling. "Ecara..."

One eye slid open and Saradin watched Ecara smiling. "Dont bite your mother now. Its bad for your teeth." Smiling he stirred slowly and let go of Aurah again as she regained her balance in the waking world. A simple kiss to her and a pleasant "Good morning," was all she got before Ecara absorbed all the attention the way she did. "Besides, I got my rest, your mommy needs hers. But now that youve got everyone up, what can we do for you little lady?"

She was now crouch on Eclipse's back, tugging at his ears, trying to get him to join the rest them. "Wake up." But her tugging was merely stopped as a wing was delicately arched out to push her off gently on the bed.
"Eclipse needs his sleep..." He yawned, not opening his eyes once and curled himself into a rather tight ball, hiding himself in his own wings. "Go play with mommy for a few...days."
"Good morning." Returning Saradin's kiss she smiled at him. "Bad for her teeth, bad for me. Adjective use and biting, the main things to work on." She pulled away from him, sitting up and stretching, she rolled her shoulder back to pop her joints as she often did, making the tattooed wings on her back seem to give a flap as if real. Aura then raised a hand to her hair, combing her nails through it to give it some order.
And no sooner had Eclipse shoved her off than she was up next to Saradin and Aurahkah, smiling at them both, little tail showing that happy emotion. "Saradin Phoenix is better?" A fanged smile and a giggle was his reward. "Wanna get out." One thing she hated most besides blood and waking up alone, being cooped up inside.

Ra she was an idiot. A complete and total idiot. Would she never learn? So many times she had allowed herself to be taken by pretty words and sweet presents and now...now she had done it again. She wasn't really sure what it was about her...nor did she want to know. She went over Cymarron's words in her mind once more. There was something she wanted so badly. Love. So many emotions, but could she do it. No. She couldn't. It was too soon and she just wasn't ready. She'd led them both on and now they wanted her to choose. She knew how they felt, hell they'd just about declared their intentions. "Foolish Niah." She was so naive it made her sick to think about. She knew she couldn't just be friends with men. It never worked out that way. But she also knew that both of them had ghosts. And she didn't want to be used that way. Ever. She'd been used once before and there was no way in hell she'd let it happen again. "Over my cold, lifeless body!" she said with conviction. Elias still wore his wedding band. Cymarron still loved Kisshy. She had heard the emotion in both of their voices when they had spoken of them. "When will you finally learn?" she asked herself angrily. "You're too weak. Men fall because they want to save you. They want to make everything okay. They don't love you. They love who you could be, who you remind them of..." And they'd hate her. They'd never tell her they were wrong, not after the way she'd taken Alex's departure. They'd sit there and suffer and she couldn't let them do that. It was too evil.

"You win. Cant argue with you now can we?" Saradin stretched himself out and fell back onto the bed. "Right, havent stood up in two days." Almost achingly, he got up agian this time ready for the shoddy manuevering. "Yes, Im feeling much better Ecara. We'll get you out there soon enough." Wandering towards the door, he looked back as he tilted his head until it made a popping sound as the joint dislodged itself. "I really should get a shower first though. Weve been cooped up in here for days havent we?"

Aura stood, picking up Ecara who had outstretched her hands to her. With a rather mischievous look she angeled her eyes to Saradin. "About that much time. Don't forget to brush your teeth either...apple pancakes couldn't of tasted that good coming back up. And I need to change and brush my hair before it has it's way with me. Meet you downstairs then love?" She smiled to him once more before she walked over to the door with Ecara, pulling it open and stepping out.
Eclipse opened one azure eye then closed it again. "If you don't mind...I'm just gonna stay right here curled up where I am...I'll refrain from dropping feathers on your sheets." Another yawn from the exhausted creature.
Speedy as ever, in a fifteen minute time period she had herself gotten downstairs, showered and changed, hair brushed into order. Ecara as well looked more presentable than before. Giving a final flick to her hair she stepped from her room and down the hall to the kitchen she made her way, starting a pot of coffee to get herself jump started.
Ecara had merely followed, getting a piece of cheesecake from the fridge to satisfy herself, forgoing the fork, preferring her fingers. The distasteful look from her mother at the action didn't bother her at all though. "We sleeping with Saradin Phoenix now?"
"Only if he wants his bed crowded. You are such a bed hog you know."
"Ecara is not a bed hog either."

Nelphean stood still, his eyes not seeing anything, his mind feeling the anguish of another empath... He tilted his head, not sure what to think or feel, but he didn't like this... Flare.
Nelphean pondered for a moment, and decided the best course of action...
He began to look for Nailah, and slowly followed her mind to the source, keep a slow easy pace. He sang a soft tune, a very mellow song about loss...

Niah walked into the kitchen and saw them. "Could be worse Ecara. You could kick like Tyler does." She saw the little girl eating cheesecake and smiled. Seems her addiction was catching. She walked to the bar and poured herself a glass of wine. Looking at Aura for a moment she swallowed. Love was pouring off her in waves. And she didn't even have to use her powers to know Saradin was the same. She shook her head and faked a bright smile. "Eclipse and I were talking about it and I suggested a nursery. Especially now that we have yet another child."
Tyler wandered in and grinned. "Hi Cara, Miss Niah and Miss Ara. Can I have some cheesecake too?"
Niah smiled and got the little boy a piece. He sat down and happily began eating.

"You can stay as long as youd like. Rest well."
Saradin shot through the procedure of becoming presentable as well, cleaned completely in twenty. Exitting slowly in clean clothes located within the closet, he shut the door behind himself and let Eclipse sleep. Given the walk down to the kitchen, he entered and looked at her work with a fake dissapointed appearance. "Straight to the caffine. Cant say Im surprised." Then he walked over and looked eagerly at the black liquid himself. "How long till its done?" Moving from there to there, he made toast, eggs, and all the other classic 'complete breakfast' foods in the waiting time. "Morning Tyler, Nailah. Ecara, dont spoil your appetite on nothing but cake now."

"I need a boost, and you're a junkie too don't lie. And it's done now."Aura wasn't stupid as she turned away from Niah, pouring herself a mug of coffee, one for Saradin as well as she handed it to him. "Morning Niah, Tyler." She knew she made the woman uncomfortable, but Aura really couldn't help it. For a moment she merely sipped at her coffee which still had the same disgusting taste to it as always. Hated coffee. "A nursery? Hm...that's quite an appealing idea." She set her mug on the counter. "And you mean Esmeralda right? She's quite the outspoken one. But is that a good idea? I mean maybe for Tyler and Esmeralda, but I don't know if Ecara could handle it. She's usually always with either me or Eclipse."
Ecara licked at her fingers as Niah and Tyler had come in, waved to them both, then another wave to Saradin and a lowering of ears as he talked about her eating cake for breakfast. "Ecara won't."
" "I" won't..." She corrected it, even though the girl could probably care less.

Niah nodded to Saradin and watched the three of them for a moment. Such a little family. She sighed inwardly and kept her smile in place. "Well I think Tyler would love to have Ecara in the same room with him. And I have not met Esmerelda yet but I have heard a bit about her. I think it might help you know who to get better acquainted as well." she said nodding to Ecara who was happily eating her cheesecake.
Tyler dropped the fork and picked up his cheesecake with his hands. "Thanks Miss Niah."
Nailah looked at him for a moment and said "Fork Tyler."
"But Cara..."
"I don't care. Fork."
He sighed and picked up the fork muttering. Then he shook his head and happily ate his cheesecake.
Niah took another sip of her wine and said, "We have the space and Eclipse could stay in there with them. That way Ecara and the others wouldn't be alone." And so he coudl stop any fights that may happen.
