Trying to diffuse the incredibly traceable magic energy that emenates from all powerful magic users is a bit of a task.
Ted smuggled me some designs for prototype magic-blocker collars that the Department of Magery has been testing for use in the imprisonment of rogue mages. They've been pretty helpful in the research, but the downside of the technology is, obviously, that the mage won't be able to use magic while it's active.
Or at least not certain kinds of magic.
I haven't run any tests or anything yet, because I don't have a workable prototype (due largely to my workshop's rather limited supply of anything that works).
It's all numbers and runes and stuff thusfar.
Also, I've been doing a lot of recon work, as well as connecting with any of my former students who are willing to aide our cause.
