mysticaingeal *hugs Chem kitty* Tis okaii =( Lots of people fear different things because of stuff that has happened in the past. But it's terrible. Just the fear of going to the dentist is enough, but now it has developped into a full fledged thing about getting cavities so much to the point that I brush my teeth over and over again all the time until my gums bleed... crying nrasjaa Chemical_Kitten .... Awww, you're going... crying I hope your appointment goes alright... anything related to teeth just makes me ill. I have a terrible fear of the dentist... sweatdrop Every time mom say's I've an appointment, I get so nervous I can't help but to throw up repetitively... I just hate it so much. To this point, I've not had any problems with my teeth, but I have with a certain dental clinic which I think the problem started from. It was back in primary school, and they used to force us to see a school dentist. When I was about eleven, this dentist told my mom and I that I had cavitites in basically all my premolars and molars and they would need to be filled. I got two done. My mom then had an appointment at her dentist and I begged to have my teeth checked because I knew there was nothing wrong with them. He had one look at them before saying that there was nothing with them, and that they were looked after quite impressively. I didn't need all those fillings they told me I needed, and those two they got done. I was lucky they only put them in baby teeth, but I still can't but think how lucky I was to have seen my mom's dentist like that. I owe a lot to him for that. Ever since then, I've had this fear of the dentist. I just don't trust them, and the thought of going makes me feel ill. Just by recapping that, I feel as though I'm going to vomit. I dont know how to stop it either. Argh, just the dentist scares me so much. I know it is stupid, but I can't help it. 13 is my favourite card game of all time. whee At the moment I'm reading Somersault by Kenzaburo Oe... it's s**t. It started out sort of alright, but now it's just s**t. At least in my opinion anyway. It won the 2004 Literature Nobel Prize though. It's still s**t. Me and my sister have always had teeth problems. We each got a whole heap of fillings (from an independant dentist though, not the school one) when we were really young. Then when I was in grade 5, I had 4 teeth removed, and then I had braces for 2 years. My sister had the same, but only needed 2 teeth removed. We each still have a brace on our bottom teeth, but on the inside of the teath, not the outside, you can't really see them unless I show you. My sister also had to have her widom teeth out, and I've had to do the same because there just wasn't enough room for them, so they got rotten. I'm not really scared of dentists, but I don't like getting teeth taken out. I've never played thirteen before... I like a bit of speed though. 3nodding It must be crap, I've never even heard of that book before... xd My sister has a few teeth problems because her enamel didn't form properly as a baby which is upsetting... I do have one current problem, but I'm too scared to go to the dentist about it. My canine teeth took their time coming through (the last one only just started coming through two years ago). The problem is, one of the baby canines woudn't fall out, and is still here with the adult tooth over the top of it, so it is quite crooked. I know it sounds disgusting, but you can't even notice it. I know I need to go to the dentist to get it fixed, but I'm too scared. What if he removes the adult tooth so that I have a baby tooth there for the rest of my life? It isn't going to last all that long... I want the baby tooth removed and the adult tooth straightened, but I'm not even sure if that is possible. The adult one finished coming through about one and a half years ago, so I don't think it's going to be all that easy to just remove the baby tooth and hope that the adult one moves into place... sweatdrop All I can think of would be a plate of some sort, or surgical straightening. It's too expensive though, and I don't even know if it is possible. I don't know what to do, but I'm too scared to see my dentist. crying What if he finds something else wrong with my teeth? crying crying crying crying crying I'm sorry to hear of the trouble you have with the dentist. It's a good thing you aren't scared of them as such, that would make a big difference for the good... crying

WellzY Chemical_Kitten I think in my winter holidays (it's a month) I'm going to teach myself to cook. 3nodding That'll be really useful. Yeah, all Uni students get a month off between semesters; it'll great for me, because then I can probably start reading some books again, and actually devote some time to it. Ok, now I should go.
