Vik gave Cymarron a disapproving look. "Now that's just going too far, Cymarron. You're lucky we're your friends because we'd slaughter you if we weren't." Vik turned his attention to Karu. "It looks nice on you and that's not my inner guy talking. You look great."

"Perhaps that's a good thing...I don't recall waking up screaming being counted as a good thing." But she didn't press the issue, if he wanted to talk about it he would, but it was plain as day he'd rather not. That was just how Saradin had always been. "At least you're a bit rested though, better than feeling horrible and exhausted at the same time."

"Can't beat them join them. And oh, you missed a dispute almost escalate into a fight that could of gone really bad, and maybe a few good opportunities to poke fun at others, but nothing more than that really."

she let loose a string of curse words she had learned from Merii, but with less skill in the demonic accent. she leaned against the counter and lit up a cigarette forgetting she had dropped and shattered the plate of food she had made herself.

"Uhm...Ru its Gra'ga chakka."

"You just said ant hills were friends. accents important. where on earth did you hear that stuff anyway? i didn't realize you knew higher demonic..."

she sighed, and knelt, picking up the plate, using a weack Restore spell to fix the ceramic.

"and you shouldn't leave lunch on the floor. I might eat it."

Nailah stretched her legs and wandered slowly back into the manor. It seemed like these days she couldn't even remember when she left someplace. She slowly walked down the Great Hall, then jumped when someone came out.

Tyler saw Niah and grinned. "Miss Niah, I'm hungry."

She laughed, "You're always hungry little one. Come on, to the kitchen with us." Niah grabbed him by the hand and began to head that way.

Tyler held her hand until he got closer but then he let go and took off running.

"Tyler! Be careful." Niah called out a warning.

Tyler looked back and laughed. "I will!" he called. Then he turned around and tripped and fell smacking his face on the hard floor.

Niah came running and picked him up. She looked at him for a moment and saw he had split his lip. Blood was on his chin and he had tears in his eyes. She held him and said "It's okay sweetheart. I'll make you feel better."

Tyler began to wail and grabbed onto Niah with his small hands. "It hurts!" he cried.

"I know. I know." She hurried into the kitchen only aware of Tyler and immediately headed towards the sink. She set the little boy on the counter and grabbed a washcloth. Slowly she placed it on his split lip.

he was literally roaring with laughter, rocking back in his seat. and smiling at Shinga when she approached.

"You think this is a good look for Karu, yes?"

He snickered softly, putting on hsi most innocent face to Karu.

"You did not say the magic words, Karu..."

she stood up with a glare that meant death, aimed at Cy. "Would the magic words be 'Do it or die'?" her tail flickered behind her with irritation. she was never good at taking jokes at her expinse.

He grinned at her, and flexed his claws lightly.

"Perhaps, if you could kill Cymarron. but in this case, no, those are not the words."

He was lightly chuckling still, rather enjoying himself. His ears twitched every once in a while, trying and hoping that Bastet or Nailah woudl show. both he wanted to talk with and bastet might be interested in a little friendly contest.
