Ro Mayvine DGwar Ro Mayvine So is Pro Bending officially going to be done with just the quick bursts of {insert element here} ? It's going to be done with how the show does it.
Essentially you can only attack with your element in a blast of it. You can shield a teammate but cannot attack. No mixing elements, no ice, etc. I'm going to type up an official ruleset for it when i get some time to just sit and thing. So then an air bender can't do something like use the air scooter to dodge and such? they could

Ro Mayvine So then an air bender can't do something like use the air scooter to dodge and such? As far as I know Air Benders cannot be in pro bending. They aren't mentioned anywhere in probending due to the only 4 in existence being an old man and 3 young kids.
But no, air scooter would be against the rules of a basic attack. You can only use gusts of air.

Ro Mayvine Wouldn't it just be the same kind of thing as a fire bender? o.o Pro-bending is comprised with 3 members, one from earth, fire, and water. If we keep the 3v3 team styles then when there's an air bender and not one to counter it the air bender's team is more than likely ensured a win.
Just going to make sure the rules cover things like the rules against other benders. Like water benders can't use ice. Earth benders can't break the earth discs. You cannot combine elements. IE putting rock in a blast of water. All that stuff.

I'm actually gonna have team sizes be 2-3...it's difficult to get 3 people together for one team...plus we dont really have the numbers for a team...air is also allowed, btu we talked about that earlier

So I'll be writing up two seperate rulesets for probending.
The "Official Rules" and the "Freelance Rules" of them.
Unfortunately the Official Rules will not allow airbending only because the official rules require 2 teams of equal elements in a 3v3 setting.
However freelance rules will allow for airbenders and odd number teams and all of that.
