Elias Murieta strolled into the kitchen, dressed as always in his dress shirt and slacks. He was always smoking those cigars, it was starting to become a very large habit as of yet. He smiled as large plumes of smoke rolled from his mouth like a ocean of snakes as they emerged from there hypernation. He nooded to those around him, from underneath his hat, as he took another puff of the sweet smelling cigar.

she bounded forward, skidding to a halt at Karus feet, seeming to be crouching beside the bike, she stood, streching and flicking her tail, and grinning, back in the regular demonic form she held.
"Hallo Kuro! what are you doing back here? don't tell me you got a babysitting job too?"

Eclipse raised his head as Ecara covered her ears at the sound of the motorcycle, she didn't like it one bit. But he merely nuzzled the girl and soothed her, she went back to playing with the orb as he watched Shin and Karu out of just the lack of things to do.

she stares at Shin with surprised eyes as a cigarette hung from her lips, a lighter waiting to set it aflame. her ears twitch and she blinks before she continues to light the cigarette taking a few puffs before responding. "I came on a whim... you know I'm not good with kids." she studies Shin's appearance for a few seconds then smirks. "Running from something... or someone?"

shin shook her head. "none of your bussines, and none of your bother. and you arne't known to come to be bored on a whim. what are you doing here?"
se tipped her head to the side curiously, before shaking her head.
"Nevermind. none of m bussiness either. what have you been doing all this time eh?"

she stretched her back with her arms in the air as her butt rested on the seat of the motorcycle. she was glad Shin didn't push why she was there. "What have I been doing...." she smirks as she looks up at the sky while she took the cigarette from her lips. "Well... since I've seen you, I was a theif for a good while. That was before the leader left us at a job where we almost didn't make it out." she shakes her head at the memory as she flicked ash onto the ground. "After that, I wandered around until I came across a tavern I now live at." she smiles and takes another drag of her cig.

"Let me guess. youve eeked your bed under the tequila tap towhere your mouth is under it when you sleep and thus you're able to litterally drink twentyfour hours a day?"
she laughed, nose picking up the uneasy scent form her friend.
Bingo. she WAS hiding something.
oh what fun. someone to play mind games with that wouldn't turn in to a tige and eat her.

"Elias. we have questions that need answers. come with us, yes?"
He moved out to the courtyard, expecting Elias to follow..and as soon as they got to a relatively safe distance, he turned his attention back to Elias.
"We have questions about your human courtship rituals..and combat over females when more than one male has an interest."

her ears flicked and she raised an eyebrow at her comment. any normal person would be insulted by such a suggestion. "I don't drink tequilla that much... heh there's also whiskey, rum, brandy, and if there's nothing else the occasional vodka." she grins and looks up to see the man who greeted her first from the other day, Cy she believed his name was. she looked back at Shin seeing the look in her eyes. "I am the master of avoiding answering questions... just try me"

Elias found a smile was spreadin across his face, when he heard Sir Cymarron speak. He rubbed his bearded chin lightly as he thought about hos best to answer. "To tell you the truth, I can't really give you any specifics about how to go around courting Lady Naliah. but as to the fact that we both have fellings for her is something that has troubled me. And yes tradionally men such as ourselves fight until one of two things happen one of us surrenders or one of us is dead. And as much as I would love to remove any competition that I have over the heart of the Lady Naliah. Don't you think that we should ultimtely leave the decision to her? I will fight you, if that is what you desire, but our winning isn't going to guarentee that we win the heart of the fair Nalaih." he said with a shrug as he let the smoke roll out his mouth in large waves. Filling the courtyard with the sweet scent of chocolate. Elias placed his hands in the loose pockets of his slacks and waited for Sir Cymaron to make the decision.

she considered a moment her tail flicking as a thought occured to her "Hey Karu, can I borrow your bike?"
her ears perk up and she stands up holding out the keys to Shin "yeah... just promise you won't wreak it..."
"You know me" she said as she took the keys and got on. she revved up the bike and took off with a short wave to Karu
as she watched Shin go her tail flicked nervously. "yeah... that's what I'm afraid of" she took a long drag of her cigarette as she runs her fingers through her messy hair with a bit of effort

He nudged Ecara up and then he himself stood. Smoke and chatter, he didn't want any of it right now. He slipped under Ecara, getting her onto his back then padded out of the courtyard, away from the gathering crowd. Small growl. He made his way upstairs to Saradin's room, which he merely shadow walked through the door.
Aurahkah was sitting in a chair at the window, watching coinceidently enough the others in the courtyard from the window. Saradin still lay in bed, looking like he was asleep, but who really knew, only him perhaps.At the entrance of the two she turned her attention to them.
Ecara slid off of Eclipse and walked up to her mother, climbing up into her lap, resting her head back against her mother's shoulder. A sigh but ahe was content just to be in her mother's hold again.
Eclipse merely jumped up on Saradin's bed, lying across it's foot and made himself comfortable.

"It was not our intention to fight you now, Elias. but in Vah custom..at least an older one...was that if a female chose herself a mate amoung many suitors, other suitors would often 'test' them through trials of combat. until one surrenders or is dead. We wondered if you had a similar ritual or challenge should Lady Nailah's affection fall to us."
He nodded lightly at him.
"We were curious..because if you were to issue a challenge to us, we would kill you."
His eyes were serious. such rituals were obviously not the least bit less than a life or death situation for him.

her ears twitch hearing the conversation between the two males. it was very interesting to her. Did men really fight that hard for this thing called love? she turned to face the two, her arms crossed over her chest as her red eyes peered at them curiously. her tail waved behind her as she watched them as if watching a movie.

"Actually yes, such is the case with less civilised facets of human society, but you understand, as much as I would give my soul to be able to hold Naliah and call her my own, it is not me decision to make. She will make her decision, and I will not lie I want her to choose me over you. And I am willing to die for her as I am willling to die for my daguhter. But is she chooses you, then so be it. She wiil be yours and I will not fight her decision. BUt I will give her this warning, if she does you and you ever make her cry I will not issue a challenge I will cut out our loins with me bare hands and shove them down your throat." Elias said with a smile on his face and a coldness in hi heart that as not like him. "But Lady Nalaih has yet to make her decision, and until she does I will fight with every fiber of my being to make her mine, rather yor approve of it or nor Sir Cymarron. " he said his voice as cold as ice.
