Eclipse came walking into the kitchen, on two legs this time, having adopted his partial human form to better deal with Ecara during the night. She wasn't sleeping so well for some reason. Perhaps it was the incident yesterday. But now morning found him still sleepily, ears flopped as well as tail, his wings hanging rather slack so his end feathers haphazardly brushed the floor as he walked. He stopped however and blinked some. Then yawned. "Oh...good morning Niah..." Another yawn from the exhausted creature.

"Rough does not describe my night." He leaned back against the wall near the door, eyes closed as he gave heavy sigh. "I don't know how you and Aurahkah do it. I don't know how Elias does it." He shook his head, his poor ears just moving with the motion and crossed his arms over his chest. "Ecara was still upset from a spat she got into with Esmeralda yesterday evening. She didn't sleep so well...rather hard to get her to calm down at all. I mean look at me, I had to change just to deal with her...needed the thumbs." He rolled his shoulder back, the joints issuing a pop each. "I see you faired better."

"Esmeralda, apparently she's Elias' daughter. And half snake too as I have been told. I only heard through Coban myself but apparently Ecara has some kind of...fear/grudge/somthing against Esmeralda. Esmeralda confused her, Ecara went on the defense. One though the other was playing and the other didn't, I'm sure you can guess who is who. When I came on the scene it was already over." He yawned again. "And I do have patience and a good heart..."

One ear raised itself up. It was quite funny, Eclipse's height topping Niah's own yet she was the one petting him just as normal. Good. He raised a hand and rand it through his hair, pushing it back from his face some. "I figure maybe it's the wolf in her." Eclipse gave a snort through his nose, then a smile that showed off sharpened fangs. "You know, that sounds like a good idea. I'm sure Aurahkah would go for it. Once Saradin is back on his feet and she's not so on edge I'll have to run that one by her." His tail swished. "Would be a lot of work to build one. But we could always short cut things to an extent."

He laughed. "Ecara is a bed hog. I'm bad enough myself but poor Aurahkah is just getting kicked out her own bed at night it seems. And Bastet really playing the part of mommy, how amusing." The dark winged one laughed again, uncrossing his arms. He tilted his head just as Niah did when she asked her question. "Aurahkah and Saradin Phoenix..." His ears rotated around a little as he thought. "If she's happy...I can't fault that. I have to admit, I had my own want to have her be with him...but that's because you know I'm so close to him...or was rather." That statement's end truly had saddened undertones to it. "But besides that...I'd rather her be with him than anybody else. As I said though, I'm bias. You? What do you think about them?"

He shook his head, slight comforting smile on his face. "Niah, Niah, Niah." A sigh. "She told you why she disconnected so quickly. And who knows, maybe it was Saradin Phoenix she loved all along and was using Vin- um, you know, to fill what she couldn't receive from Saradin himself." Walking over he took the woman in his arms and hugged her. "Hey now, love's feeling on you, it's only hurting you because you're letting it. Don't associate it with your own you know who, he didn't deserve you anyway." A snort from him as he released her. "And hell, take pride in being foolish and naive, I do when I have my moments of them." Another laugh, then he grew somber at her last statement. "Unfortunately Niah...something is trying to rip them apart before they're even getting started." Niah might as well know. "But we can hope for the best." Eclipse yawned again. Then groaned as his name was clearly heard through the halls in a little girl's voice. "And the child awakens...excuse me Niah." He turned, padding from the kitchen, then stopped and looked over his shoulder and wings to Niah. "Really Niah, don't let love poke fun at you. Show it who's boss." A nod and he continued on to the beckoning call of his daughter.

Cymarorn had not left the kitchen, however had coiled up under teh table in a ball nearly like a normal housecat and slept soundly, half a gallon of eggnog by his head and one hand still loosely holding on to it. However his internal clock was ringing to get up, but only his tail listened, sway out from under the table roughly back and forth, though the rest of him didn't move except the occasionly twitch of mucle from whatever dreams were stirring in his mind.

Nailah jerked herself out of her melancholy thoughts and slowly turned around. She looked around the kitchen and saw that it was still deserted. So she walked to the fridge. She was hungry and the cheesecake she had put in there earlier was calling her name. She opened the door and pulled it out then grabbed a fork and sat down at the table. Sighing she ran through everything that had occupied her thoughts the past few days. What was she going to do? She felt something brush her foot and almost screamed. Then she looked down and saw Cymarron curled up under the table, sleeping. He looked so peaceful so she didn't disturb him. She pulled her legs up and rested her feet on another chair then leaned back and savored her cheesecake. "Thanks Cymarron." she whispered guessing correctly where the cheesecake she was enjoying had come from. Both of them were really very sweet. And she didn't want to hurt either of them. She didn't want to hurt anybody.
