"I alwasy feel like losing that game, Bastet." Nelphean's movements were a flash, in one brief second, Bastet found herself burried under the elf, with his head resting gently on her neck. "Care to win?"

Shin grinned, recignizing the woman.
"He is. kicking and screamin' all 'ee way. but 'ees 'ere."
she nodded softly, going to the sink to get a glass of water.
"you may miss him, but he's looking out fer ya."
she smiled again, fainter this time, as she nodded.
waistlength brown hair was in a pony tail again, wrapped up with a black and a white ribbon, criss crossing her dark hair. her brown eyes were honest, a little mischevous, but meaning well.
"Always are, relatives..."

she smiles at Shinga "Of course he is... he knows better than to leave me alone." she rests her elbow on the arm rest and her chin in her hand. "Name's Karu... but if you knew him I'm sure you already knew that"

She shook her head and smiled, "Typical thoughts of my elf. But it is no bother." Her thoughts were stopped when all of a sudden she found herself under Nelphean. He had quicker reflexes than her sometimes. A blink later she spoke into his ear. "That sounds fun."

Shin barked a laugh, turning to look at the girl.
"Sweet bridget Karu Kuro! I know I look different, but im not THAT different!"
holding her water glass in one hand, she patted the woman on the shoulder.
"Itsokay 'aru. 'ee all know joo 'ave bad memory."
she said, feigning sympaty.
"'ee 'asn't 'een 'eing too 'uch a bother, eh Cymmarron?"

He watched quietly, listening, and storing information as he normally would, while playing with Ecara and teasing her with his tail. he wondered what Saradin and Aura were up to, and if Nailah had noticed the gifts outside her door.
"No. she is a spirited young woman. but not a bother."

she nodded towards the man who had greeted them. the moment Shinga had mentioned looking differently it clicked in her mind. she was suddenly to her feet and standing infront of her with bright eyes and perked ears. "Holy hell! How long has it been?! Have you been hanging around Merii again?" her bushy tail waved behind her at the sight of an old friend

Ecara's attention was once again held by the tail, grabbing at it, capturing it and releasing it a few times. But she was starting to get fidgety, for the first time being both out of reach and presence of both mother and father. Her ears moved of their own accord, and she pet the doll she held as others pet her. "Cymarron...when will Saradin Phoenix be better?" She understood that much. Mommy spent time with Saradin Phoenix when he was sick, which left Ecara with Eclipse..but Eclipse could only handle so much.

Cymarron chuckled to himself, turning his attention to Ecara.
"So little one, what woudl you like to do? woudl you like to see Cymarron's fun in the kitchen?"
He chuckled as he had forgotten to dissipate that little smoke scene. he wondered what those who's images where it woudl say if they saw it.

she shook her head.

she grinned, leaning against the cabnite as she drank her water, listening.

"Fun in the kitchen?" Now how was that to be accomplished? The kitchen was for eating. Fun was always a good word and a good distraction. Ecara was always up for fun. But she didn't really know what to do, in fact she felt rather restless. One hand caught hold of Cymarron's tail again and this time didn't let go.

she considers a moment then shakes her head "Something I can't tell even you at the moment." as usual she was skilled at being unclear and changing the subject "So... I heard there was some good liquor here" she smirks

He chuckled, and got up, stretching lightly nad lifted Ecara up into the air by the tail she was gripping, coiled it around her and held her in teh air by his hip as he went into the kitchen with her and sat her on teh table, showing her the Aura, Nailah, Bastet and Cymarron gyspie song and dance show.
"You like?"

she grinned, for the first time in a long while actually honestly happy.
