Perching herself on the balcony railing, Aura took a breath in, holding it for a few moments before letting it out slowly. She wasn't naive, she knew how the minds of men worked. Fight and get it over with, get it worked out. Even so if there was truth to that, those same men who fought would bear a grudge even when one didn't need to be in place. That's just how it is with them.

Maybe that's why she always played referee when her friends fought. She appeared to be the goody goody far to much, she knew that. But she had manged to keep her mouth shut when it came to talk of vampires. It seemed to them that vampires were just lowly blood drinkers. And if that was so, couldn't she be called a vampire too? Oh if only they knew.

So sweet little Aurahkah would have to make a change then? No more referee, not more little peacemaker. At least Bastet had put aside her fights with Ryo, that was one less thing to worry about.

"I have never clamed to be a good vampire nor do I try to clame that now but Nither am I what you could call evil. I am simply me, I will drain a human of there blood if need be but I am not out to cause undo suffering. I take what I need to survive and nothing more, altho lately I have been drinking from a reserve that Aurahkah has provided me with. When that runs out I guss I will be forced to go after the animals that live in the forest around this home."

Aura smiled at the familiar snort she heard behind her and looked over her shoulder to see Eclipse hovering there. "What about you? What do you think of me?"

He landed himself on the balcony, and grabbed her bracelet, pulling her forward away from the railing. He never did like her sitting on it. Nuzzling her arm he gave her a few choice words.

"Now you're just trying to make me feel better. Well it's not really working this time my friend." She scratched the wolf's ears. "Why don't you go on to bed? You'll need your energy. Hm? Oh you know I can stay up, go on."

Although reluctant to leave the request was really an order, just stated so as not to hurt his feelings. He gave a final word to her, followed by a snort before making his way down stairs and to their room.

Aura now took to pacing the length of the balcony. Her day just seemed to go from one extreme to the other. And as in other moments of wether thinking to hard, sleep deprivation, being liquored up, or just plain angry, she also took to talking to herself. "I really think that I'm being mocked for all the bad I did in Egypt. That would explain a lot. And the particular attraction for moments of aggression from others I have...for Ra's sake even angels have it in for me. You know you've done something wrong Aura when you've pissed off the angels."

Bradwen rushes out of the library and hurries outside, stopping in the middle of the yard. He looked left and right, thinking to himself of Ryo's directions. He knew what he was looking for would be in the forest somewhere, but the problem is where. The rain a few days ago would've washed away the tracks left in the area outside the gate, and that's the only place Bradwen had seen it. He sat down and thought hard, staring off into the woodland.

Out of the corner of his eye, Bradwen catches a movement in the bushes near the far corner of the fence. He leaps to his feet and runs headlong after it, not stopping for anything. As the trees tear at his clothing and the shrubs tear up under his feet, he calls out "Come back here Delicious Mystery Creature! Ryo's depressed and needs to eat delicious food to get better! I'll only kill you once, so please get back here!"

With that, Bradwen disappeared into the night.

((Gah, I need to go to sleep four hours ago so I can wake up in two. I'll see ya'll tomorrow sometime))

Aura glanced over her shoulder, and watched Vincent disappear into the house. Even he was upset with her now. Finding nothing better to do, she too slipped inside the house. Aura made her way quietly down the stairs and into the great hall. Where she just stood. If she sat down, she would fall asleep, and she wanted anything but that at the moment.

She turned to him. "I didn't want to retire to my room just yet, and I don't feel like sleeping, so I'm just standing around really, just thinking too hard on things. And the fact that everyone else is either sleeping or soemwhere else doesn't help the company situation." She sucked up her pride, time for change part one. "I'm sorry for stopping you earlier. Boys will be boys after all, they're going to beat each other senseless once in a while."
