jopwie What's with all the girl problems? My girlfriend called this morning, and my homophobic mum told her to stop calling me, and made her cry sad Then my mum gave me movie passes, on the condition that I go with a male. Ouch. =( My classes start tomorrow. mad

I finally get to catch up on the sleep i lost on friday night / saturday morning now... yay.... sweatdrop this weekend was bad for me sleeping good for me in many other ways.

The program that I was going to intern at lost their funding.
Meaning it doesn't exist anymore. The employees will either be offered open positions in the umbrella agency or be kicked out on their a**.
BUT, I met with my coordinator today and I am meeting with the prinicpal from a local alternative school. I don't mean "alternative" in teh sense that they are under lock and key. They come and go pretty regularly, they can eat and drink in class, they work on teh school, they do homework and take tests on sofas outside rather than in a classroom. Lots of freedom for them. An alternative to traditional school.
It just makes me really sad that the other program lost it's funding. Not just for the employees, but for the clients. These were seriously troubled kids and BRIDGES was a huge part of their lives. They helped them with group therapy, field trips, treatment, rewards for completeing their treatment, everything. =(
