Lucius hated to see that she was still disobedient, so he decided to hunt her a little while longer, by showing up in the middle of her way so she'd have to take sudden turns. But no matter where she ran, he did always seem to be there already- almost like he was everywhere.

She suddenly just stopped and stared at him. "Why? Why are you doing this to me? Just let me stay! I don't want to go to the new world! I like it here!" She shouted at him.

Lucius stopped and stared her down, anger showing all over his face. "I already told you why! You are not ready for this! You are a young vampire and I will not let you alone for maybe decades. You come with me whether you like it or not! I don't care, Alexia".

Lucius walked up to her, so he was stood right in front of her. "Things need to happen and I need to make sure they happen the way I want them to. Therefore I need to be there. And you are coming with me. I am not discussing it with you".

Lucius shook his head. "This is a whole new world. There's so much to see and to discover! How can it not interest you!?", He asked and he obviously didn't get her point. "Those humans are useless. They will die and you'll be devastated. Don't let them get too close to you!"

Despite her anger towards him she lent in to his touch. She loved him even though he made her blood boil at times. When he touched her she nearly always felt the fight in her drain out. "But how long have I got to be there for? Stuff is going to go down here and I want to be around when it does. Princess Elizabeth is going to do great things, I know it even though she is only a baby."

Lucius pulled her in for a hug and held her in his arms gently. "It depends on you, ma chère, I really don't know. I have never had a progeny before but when Brutus had me, he abandoned me and there was just so much I didn't know. So many innocent people who have lost their lives because of me", he shook his head and paused for a second. "I don't want you to go through the things I had to go through".

She wrapped her arms around him and let him hold her. She enjoyed the moments in his embrace. "I don't want to hurt people. That is the last thing I want to do and I do want to travel. But you have to try and understand where I am coming from."
