I noticed May start to walk to the portal as I told her to. The noise was loud, but I managed to yell, "MAYBELLE! DON'T YOU DARE GO IN THERE!!" She turned. "But you just said to." she was right next to the portal, and she was not going in. I walked over to May. "It's not to Earth."

May let out a high-pitched scream. It even hurt my ears. I ran up using my vampire speed and grabbed her because she wouldn't move. I could tell she was terrified. It wasn't funny because she looked frozen. We then just sat there and waited for him to go away just as everyone else. What a freak. Jeez.

Watcher looked at forward toward the Army of Demons and other sorts of creatures. The sybiot had taken one good look at him. As it ran toward the group of creatures. Being one that could sense energy. It didn't dare make him its target. Watcher knew of a hoard of those creatures. That was massing in his world. Under normal circumstances. Only guardians such as himself. Who were trusted by the council. Were given a key to this world. But, there was another way to move through the barrier protecting this world. Some of the old gods. Still possessed the power of creation. They could use this energy to rip a hole in Time itself. There were only two gods high enough to use such magic. Saiden Infinity, who despite his destructive nature. Had charged himself with protecting the land. Then, there was the unknown enemy. The god Siad, who had only recently broken free from his prison. The motivations of this god were unknown. His capture had occurred before records were even kept. The why he was imprisoned in the first place was unknown. The only thing the Watchers, Knights and Defenders did know. Was that he could change the all worlds if left unchecked. He was also an abnormality. Siads soul was pure evil. Which, was an impossibility in itself.

Then, there was the matter of the creatures on this planet. The army in front of him. Watcher could hear there thoughts. They spoke of the Hunters oppression. Of there tyrannous actions. Of the Slaying of there children in cold blood. This, violated the laws of the Slayers. But, there were some among them. Saw such an act as an act of weakness. To them, leaving Werewolves, Demons and Vampires alive. Was the same as driving right past a person that was on fire. Without stopping to aid them. He saw through there ranks. In the back, was a small camp. Which contained a few tents and a fire. The three generals that commanded the troops were at this camp. A Vampire Elder, An old Werewolf and an Elvish/Human, who happened to practice the way of the Monk and the ancient Druish ways. These Slayers would loose many. In an attempt to protect there keep. If he was to save them. Then, a meeting face to face with there commanders would have to be arranged. Scarlet and her companions. Would make negotiations much smoother. Though, he doubted there tact and willingness to put themselves in danger for such a task.

He turned around slowly. Then, he waved his hand into the air. First, slashing his right hand like a knife cutting the air. Then, he held out his left hand. With his palm facing outwards. Two portals opened on each side of him.

Watcher- Listen up, because you have a choice to make. The portal to my right. Leads directly into the camp of this hoard of creatures. This, is where there commanders are staying. If you wish it. You can accompany me to there camp. Where, the lot of us can attempt to reason with this army.

The portal on my left. Leads to safety on your own planet. But know, that if the Slayers fail hear against this army. Your world will definitely be next. Choose wisely

Watcher looked oddly to his right. Disappointed in the decision of May and Scarlet. The task now fell to him. Convince this armies Generals to stop this foolish War. Or, watch needless bloodshed.

He stepped through the portal on his right. Ending up in a wooded camp. There were low hanging branches in this clearing. The trees themselves seemed to be quite old. The bark was starting to turn grey. Spider webs lined the forest. Though, the size of those webs. Were unnaturally large for a Spiders Web. It would have taken decades and Millions of spiders of average size. To cover this forest in such a web. But, this was a possibility. Since, the forest was several thousands of years old.

There was a fire in the middle of the camp. Further in from where Watcher was standing. There were some green Army tents. With a few rips here and there from the claws of these Werewolves. Around the fire, stood three figures. An aging Werewolf, who seemed to be growing a white bear on his chin. A Vampire, which seemed somewhat worse for wear. And a Human looking Monk. Who, seemed to be quite old himself. It made sense that these three decided to stay out of the fight. They were not suited for such. Despite whatever experience and strength the three of them might have. There bodies were quite frail.

Watcher stepped out of the Shadow into plain sight. His posture was welcoming and his mind was void of fear. Diplomacy was a specialty of the organization he belonged to. Being a guild of Scholars and Master Librarians. Who, only engaged in combat for Defensive purposes and to preserve the balance of the Universe. Because of this, no Watcher was permitted to provoke or engage in battle. The one they spoke to had to strike first. This kept many of the youth of the land. From ever becoming part of there order.

He smiled at the three. Nodding his head slightly. His movements were very sutle. The Monk on the right bowed back to him. While, the ancient wolf just stared in opposition. The elder vampire in the group. Stared directly into Watchers eyes. Sending a wave of hypnosis toward him. That was far stronger than the norm. It suddenly became very difficult for him to move. He saw the wolf looking at him. Ready to attack at the slightest clue of an attack. He knew that if he broke free from this Vampires hold. The wolf might attack triggering a battle between them. But if he allowed himself to be controlled. His own health might be compromised. He was limited to the limitations of humans on this plain.

Watcher- I...I've just come to talk.

He felt the Vampire stealing his energy as he stood there. He couldn't stand against this force for much longer. Without being sucked into the Vampires control. His safety was not guaranteed either way. While, his mind had been very clear apon his arrival. It was filled with fear at this point. Despite the command being sent to him that was telling him to sleep.

Elder Monk- What is it, speak quickly. Less, we feed you to our wolves.

He raised his hand and the Elder Vampire stopped his mind manipulation.

Watcher- I...I've come on behalf of the Slayer.

Elder Wolf- Oh yes!! Those despicable creatures who haunt us so!! Why can't they leave us alone!! We only hunt what we need to survive!!. That doesn't not include the Slayers!!

Watcher- It seems, there is fault on both sides. I..

Elder Wolf- HOW DARE YOU!!! rarrwrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!! WE HAVE DONE NOTHING TO PROVOKE THESE ATTACKS!!!

Watcher- My organization says differently. There are some of your wolves a few months ago. Who attacked a family that was crossing these woods. The backlash of that attack. Came from the High Bishop of the Slayers. He, has been working his own agenda. Against the kings wishes and possibly outside of his knowledge. He seeks to possibly overthrow the king. Though, his intentions are not entirely clear.

Elder Wolf- ENOUGH!! Such lies, where is your proof!!

Watcher held out his hand. In a puff of white smoke. A booklet appeared in his hands.

Watcher- These records, have recorded all dealings the Bishop has made with the other Slayers. He wishes to slay you all. In an attempt to save the humans from your wrath. But, he does not understand you. To him, you are nothing but beasts. Only good for spreading violence and decay.

Elder Wolf, Elder Monk- And, what do you think Watcher!?

Watcher- I think you have the right to live. So long as you do so intelligently.

Scarlet, having followed Watcher, continued to watch silently. She nodded her agreement with him [Watcher] when he said that the creatures had the right to live as log as they were smart about it.

She was quite awestrucked by the whole ordial. Yeah, she was used to every creature [give or take a few] by themselves. But all together... It was just so cool. In a bazzar sort of way.

Scarlet started to think. Obviously, she wasn't hiding from them, but she wasn't exactly making her precense known. Maybe she should.



Shane stood ackwardly as May hugged him. He wasn't a hugger. Kris could tell and smirked.

The portal disappered. I turned, because of the loud noise it made. "OK, May, let go." I said. I was glaring at Kris.

Do you mean my girlfriend, perhaps? Shane asked with a broad smile at Krystal's taken-back expression to being asked where her girlfriend was.

Well, concittering she didn't leave me, she's just at her parents house, I don't think I have to worry about her going and messing around with another girl. Shane said, squatting and looking May in the eyes. It's not nice to say those things to people. You need to learn to hold your tounge, or you're going to get in some bit trouble later in life. Which did remind him that he needed to go check on his vampire girlfriend and make sure she wasn't still getting dizzy spells. Which were totally his fault, he realized the more he thought about it. He shouldn't have given her the wine. Shane sighed.
