Jon held his hand to the back of his head, trying to stop the throbbing. Skull meets steel doesn't usually end well...
"I...I don't know. My only guess is that I was drugged. Probably to make my transport a whole lot easier." Jon held a hand to his chin, trying to think of an explanation. His whole body was still feeling like jelly, so he leaned against the window and relaxed, hoping that his reflexes would return soon.

"you helped him? Why?" Ayane asked, curiously.
"It's not in my nature to just let someone be imprisoned. So i helped him."
'That's not like a human to help a diclonius.. unless she doesn't know...'Ayane thought to herself.

Jon looked over to the girl, then to Ayane, when mention of his steel prison was made.
"That...THING...was made to hold me for transport. Six-inch steel door, supposed to suppress vectors when securely locked. Seems to me that HE's getting desperate."

Jon shook his head and looked down.
"I've never heard that name before. As a matter of fact, I don't even know his name. But his face is something that I will never forget. He devoted an entire wing of the lab to my capture, as though I'm dangerous or something.
For eight months, he subjected me to torturous experiments that would drive normal people insane. I held on, though. And used a power outage as a means to escape without anyone's knowledge."

As the train came to a complete stop, Jon attempted to stand to his feet. He grabbed onto the pole and carefully stood up, legs shaking, and began walking to the door. He was still dizzy, but his ability to maneuver himself was improving. This allowed him to exit the train with no problem.
"One step down. Now, about that house of yours..."

Jon staggered a bit, relying on the walls to guide him as he followed the others. He still wasn't feeling his best, but maybe the girl's house might prove to be relaxing. He motioned for Ayane to come a bit closer whispered in her ear when he was sure she couldn't hear him.
"How much do you trust this girl? She barely even seems afraid. You think this could be a trap?"

"I'm not sure. She did help you. So... let's just see what happens, ok? If she is sincere, then we owe her a debt of gratitude. But my opinion, she seems genuinely kind. Maybe she doesn't know what we are." she whispered back.
The group followed the human to a really big Spa resort high in the Kamakura hills.
"here we are." The front gate opened. there were four giant hot springs steaming and gleaming in the moonlight.
"I hope it's not too big for your liking."

"Uh, no problem. None whatsoever." Jon stammered as he tried to defuse a situation that, in his mind, was about to erupt. You could tell that he was still a bit lightheaded from the drugs.
He slowly started walking past the gates, drinking in his surroundings. The view from up here is second to none...
