Logan smirked and motioned for Kevin to follow him through the castle and out of the back door. After some time had passed, they were finally standing just outside in the center of the open area. Kreiton lifted his hands up. "Now then, I do believe I've never shown you what kind of power I possess he said with a smirk as he glow with a yellow light. "I'm not just the butler of this castle, I'm one of it's protectors. I may have been a slave once, but only as a bodyguard. I was bound to our old master. I had to risk my life so that he could stay alive. Whenever he was still around that is. So I've had my share of conflict throughout the years."

Kevin smirked a little and nodded. "Then we should be fine when it comes time to fight but you said you had something to teach me." he said calmly.

Logan grinned. "As a matter of fact I do have something to teach you," he said. With that he took a decorative, ancient looking hilt from the right left side of his belt. He flicked it forward and with that energy began to spill out of the hilt's top and form into the same of a blade. Then it solidified into what looked to be metal. "I'm going to show you how to make your blade's edge sharper than it ever would be on it's own, and how to use a sword like it was your very arm.

Kevin nodded a little. "That is impressive." he said smiling a little at Logan. "Oh yeah I figured I should tell you hurt my sister and I'll break you in half."

Logan grinned even wider. "That's funny. I wanted to say that to you whenever you first came to this castle with Xantra. But I guess I don't have to worry about you ever hurting her anymore. Things have changed since you've come here. For the better I suppose," he said with a smirk. "Relax friend... I knew Sam long before you ever showed up here. Whether her brother threatens me or not, I won't ever hurt Sam in any way. You have my word." With that he tilted his head up. "Now that we got that out of the way, it's time for you to show me the steel of your blade..."

Kevin smiled a little and nodded. "Thats why were out here isnt it?" he asked settling into a fighting stance with his katana. He slowly circled around Logan waiting to see what he would do.

Logan smirked and closed his eyes as Kevin circled him. "Hmm... Good stance, a nice cautious stride. That's what I was expecting. You certainly are prepared when it comes to normal offensive and defensive movement." Then he opened his eyes and grinned as he glowed with a yellow aura. "But can you land a hit on me?"

Kevin looked at Logan and stepped forward clearing the distance between him and Logan in two steps bringing the katana up hard.

Logan's hand moved in the path of Kevin's katana stopped it with the palm of his hand. The edge of the katana pressed onto the air just above his hand. It couldn't cut him. "You're not going to land a hit that easily. You've only put yourself in the line of fire," he said right before raising his weapon upward and slicing downwards at him.

Kevin smiled and spun away bringing the katana in the bath of the slice. "Only to people who don't know me." he said calmly.

Logan's slice bashed against Kevin's blade as a blinding light flashed in between them, bathing the area in spark of orange and green light. After the flash, he had disappeared out of Kevin's sights. "Now who says I don't know you well enough. If you knew me well enough, you'd know that I never underestimate an opponent," he said, his voice echoing around Kevin. Then he reappeared behind him a good distance of feet away. "You're very good at gaining extra ground quickly. Let's see how fast you really are," he said with a grin.

Kevin stood there calmly his guard up and he spun around almost at the instant that Logan reappeared. He gave a low whistle. "Well I may not be that fast." he said smiling a little.

Samantha laid down on her bed and curled up. She soon fell asleep, her body curled around her stomach.

Logan turned around and looked at Logan. "Now... we could fight all day. Or I could show you how you can be just as fast as me." He nodded cracked his knuckles. "Interested?"
