It sounded weird with percussion and overdrive and stuff.
But now that I've removed all that, it just sounds kinda spooky.
I guess bizarre time signatures are easier to deal with in ambient.

I'm really starting to like 11/4. It makes for really bizarre melodies, and I still haven't learned to track it (I'm still stuck in 4/4, or 8/4), so it ends up sounding a lot more complicated than it really is. Well, it's only the anthem part that I'm having trouble with; the jungle beat is fine, as is the goa-esque riff, and the semi-rock, and the dark acid.
The anthem's ******** with my head, because the rhythm only loops at the 22nd beat but it has a gabber drum beat, so my head keeps telling me that it's 4/4.

Wants to hear!

Gimme a day or so. Like always, I'm having trouble figuring out how to end it.

I always have the same problem. I hate fade-outs.

Just end it with a catch phrase.
Both Gabber and Psy-Trance do that.

Why is it that Kandi Kids can never seem to remember their favourite song(s)?

so.. this isn't so much random as recurring...

I realize just how small this town is when the "new friends" i've been meeting i've actually met before, on multiple occasions, in fact, i have pictures of them from new years like... 3 years ago.

User Image everyone meet julieanne

or well julieanna 3 years ago before she got dreads, cut them off grew her hair out again... about the same time we went mattress surfing, and to multiple of the same parties without really paying any attention to each other. (long explanation necessary but not going to be included in this post) yeah... and i thought for a moment I'd met someone new

I think the people who live in small towns have the ability to forget about some of the people that they meet or else they would live in fear of never meeting anyone new. ninja

I just made another big realization. I am the person with THE BEST music taste that I know. I was browsing through my older albums in itunes and I was thinking; "Damn, this some nice music yo".

So I'm up late, doing reading for class, and I'm tired.
In my tired state, I try sticking what I'm reading together into a coherent whole, and end up getting some ridiculous equation for the wavefunction.
But then I realize, to my dismay, that the function won't normalize. The time-dependent portion blows up to infinity, and the space-dependent portion simply doesn't converge anywhere.
My physical intution panics, and I'm suddenly jolted awake...to find that I'm reading a history text.

Moral of the story: when I'm tired, my brain converts everything to physics or mathematics, except for those two things, which it converts into bad romantic sci-fi.

I'm wondering, since I can't marry Wayne Gretzky, I'm wondering if I could legally marry that statue of Wayne Gretzky
