"When the ones we love are hurt in such a way...we tend to do things that we usually wouldn't do. Even I myself am guilty of that." His arm went around her shoulders in a comforting gesture. "Deals with demons are often immediate I'm afraid. Aurahkah proverbially sold her soul to a demon." He thought for a moment. "And now what Kira? It's gone too far now? It can't be controlled?" A pause. "Kira, I believe that people don't just end up here...but are drawn for a reason...perhaps the reason you and Johnavon are here...is to find a way to lessen the damage at least."

"Damn it!" She nearly shrieked as Eclipse tried to comfort her. "It isnt the same! You, what have you seen!? Do you look at her everyday knowing that theres nothing inside!? Do you have to be reminded every few days of his mistake from the very one who took it all away!? Worse, do things... to keep him from hurting others..." The tears flowed freely as she fell face first over her keyboard, arms crossed to hold it up and pressing down on too many keys causing a rather bad sound to emminate from the machine.

Ecara recoiled from both the sounds of Kira and her laptop and gave the machine a jerk, taking pressure from some of the keys, ending it's noise. When in doubt on how to stop sensitive ear aching noise, use force.
He had to actually suppress a growl himself. "I have seen things you can only imagine, I am made of those things, could actually be considered kin to what has hold of Johnavon's soul. And yes, I used to have to look at her and see nothing in there! And yes...it does hurt...it hurts even worse when you can't do anything about it. Like you." He straightened his posture, having been leaning over towards her. "You have to beat back the demons just like the rest of us...you ever think that maybe...without you, he would of given in a long time ago?"

"Without me, hed be dead. I know it. Im the only thing thats kept him from suicide damn it! You... you arent the cause though... youre the solution. We've done everything we can... theres nothing... all I can do is watch him now as he loses whats left. The only way to beat back the demons is to just kill him. He's already gone, and every chance it gets, it tells me how much pain Johnavon is in. His hollow body keeps changing, and it takes him more and more. John's already gone... I just get to watch as his body rots..."

"If you think you've run out of solutions already then you haven't been digging deep enough to find them. Despite what you may think, there is always a way around everything, a loophole in every contract. Be it so extreme as yo venture to hell itself to reclaim is soul and don't tell me its impossible. You're here now Kira. You think you are at the end of the rope, but you're not. Not here. " Then a distasteful snort of disagreement. "Gone? I don't see him as gone. You don't know what gone is, you're too young. believe me, he is far from gone."

Cymarron had fallen asleep on the piano, and woke up rather slowly. Giving a large, feline yawn, and scratching behind his ears. He gave a sniff to the air, and smelled the blood on his person, and gave a small satisfied growl. She would be a living reminder to them. still half asleep, and since only part of his brain was functioning in that state, he undressed himself from his pants and dragged them behind him, moving through the kitchen with a half issued hello and grabbing a gallon of eggnog on his way out to get washed up in the nearest river or lake available, not even really noticing that anyone else was even there.

Nailah had fallen into a comfortable routine. She got up in the morning and along with Dobbs' wife made breakfast and served those who happened to be there. She went about her duties and the men for the most part left her alone. She still had on the more modest outfit Cymarron had procured for her and there was no way in hell she was letting anyone take it. She had bathed briefly with a tub of cold water because she couldn't stand the smell of the tavern. It clung to her like a disease and she just wanted to get rid of it. Dobbs himself hadn't shown up for a few days. She began to wonder what was going on. She had a nice collection of coins now, from her work and she intended to pay the a*****e and then leave. The only question now was, where would she go? Would she go back to the manor. Visits from her friends had told her she was missed and wanted back but she just wasn't sure if she could face it. True she had already destroyed the room that held so much pain and she had thought it would be enough. Now she had her own guilt to come to terms with.
Alicia was no good for anything anymore. She sat in her corner all day long and watched with large eyes everyone coming and going. At first she had only watched the men and wondered why they were so nervous around her. Then she began to watch Merre. She knew the woman's every movements and wondered why no one touched her the ways they had Alicia. Why was Merre so special? Because of kitty. She had the grotesque eye on her forehead that had finally scabbed over. All who saw her recoiled at her appearance. She couldn't understand why.
Niah watched Alicia out of the corner of her eye as she moved between the tables. She knew the girl had been through a lot but she couldnt' help but wonder if she was insane. She sat in her corner day after day and watched. Sometimes she would hug herself and laugh happily. When she spoke it was high-pitched and sing-song and she always spoke of someone being unhappy. Niah was really worried about her but she didn't have time to play healer now. She had an inn to run.

The elf easily evaded the many eyes on the open streets, walking at a stead pace, un hindered by the normal lives of the every day villagers. Nelphean was slightly tired, after spending the last few days hunting and being hunted, by an enemy he did not know. All he did know, is he rather them not come to the manor. The thought of Ecara fighting or being fought was very appaling to Nelphean. An elf would have been a strange sight in this town, but this one was not much of one to begin with. With his hood draw over his head, he casually strolled about the village, unhindered and unbothered.
He enetered an inn, almost at random, and sat at the only empty table. He was tired from his long hikes and ventures, and wished for some time to sit and feel lost in the crowd.

Once he had bathed, and washed his pants and lounge about until he'd dried, he went back to the Manor, and settled in the kitchen with a chunk of meat and his eggnog, thinking. should he go visit Nailah, or stay here? was his warning effective? did he go too far with Dobbs' daughter? He snorted at that last question he gave himself. They were going to learn one of two things in that village. to either respect Nailah as she should be respected...or fear him. so far they were choosing to learn fear. He ate and drank and thought nothing more of them, his mind turning to Aura. was she alright? How was she faring? Eclipse seemed to be confident she was winning her battles. but he couldn't help but wonder.

Nailah brought yet another tankard of ale out to the table. "Alright boys. I'll be back in a minute." Things were going a lot better now that Dobbs had mysteriously disappeared. She had a feeling Cymarron had something to do with that. She watched the lone figure walk in and walked over to the table with her tray. "Afternoon. What can I get for you?" she asked with a small smile on her face. She looked at him for a moment and thought she knew him but with the hood on she couldn't be sure.

He smiled under his hood, "Hello Nailah," Nelphean greated softly, "I see that you have found a path that has lead you here, yet I must say, I very much do miss the song you sung upon those keys on the piano." Nelphean pulled his hood back slighly, so he could easily look into Nailah's purple eyes. "How fares Nailah?" The elf had forgotten why he was in the inn, distracted by the temporary joy of seeing someone he knew.

Nailah jerked in surprise when the elf revealed himself to her. "That's not my name dear sir. I am Merre." She quickly took a seat on the other side of the table and said "I'm fine Nelphean. Why did you come?" She looked around but could tell that none of the other patrons had heard him refer to her by that name. She couldn't risk that getting out. She was Merre, a gypsy runaway with no family and who currently worked at the bar.
Alicia's head lifted and she watched as Merre hastily took a seat in front of an elf. She wondered who he was and how he knew her. She thought it a bit strange that all of her friends were male. Perhaps sweet little Merre wasn't as innocent as she wanted everyone to believe. She laughed at that and began to sing "Kitty's coming down. Down to town. Kitty wants to hurt the ones who make Merre cry. But Kitty doesn't know...Merre's gonna die."

"Merre?" Nelphean said softly, "Why did I come, that is simple. I was here. I almost came a few times looking for you, for various other reasons, but here I am now because a deep darkness seems to be chasing me. The last place I would like it to find me, is at home." Nelphean's empathy picked up a few of the stronger emotions, "I sense that you are very popular here, but there seems to be some loathing or..." Nelphean lost track of the thoughts, "You are very easy to find, you think stonger than most people, or you mind is more force sensitive. I can find you anywhere within a hundred miles rather quickly, without err."
"Why are you here?"

Nailah clasped her hands together and really looked at the elf. She still wasn't sure if he was telling her the truth about thier being two Nelpheans but if he was then she was almost certain this was the one that had been so confused that day. "I'm here to find....myself." She nodded. She wasn't sure that's what she was looking for but it sounded pretty good. "You came to visit me before," she said testing him. "You brought me something I hold most dear to me but I refused to accept it. And you left me something." She leaned forward as though she was about to tell him a secret. "What did you bring me Nelphean? It was stolen from me before I got a chance to see all it contained." She filed away what he had said to think about later.

Nelphean tilted his head, "I know that my brother came here, but I don't know what he did, what he gave you or what he brought with him." Nelphean said, "I was... Watching over Aurahkah when he told me he was seeking you, he seemed overly angry." Nelphean smirked, "Then agian, the first time I meet him, I did try to cut him into smaller pieces. If Aurahkah had not stayed my hand, I doupt that I would have failed." He looked at her, "Only Aurahkah, Saradin, and Cymarron have seen both of us in the same room, together."
