Aura trained her look to the floor at what Cymarron spoke. Being in an occupied area, she really didn't want them to see what flashed behind her eyes at the name. "Is she alright?"

"I just dont know how." No more worry, he was done with it, it was just one more pressure on himself and others. It pressed out of his mind completely, overwhelmed by his own determination at the moment. "You'll get better if you stop fighting yourself Aurah. I know it." His strength was renewed, but the haunting was gone, and he didnt know if what he had was powerful enough.

"Ecara doesn't like ice cream, it's too cold." Ecara twitched her ears and pulled away from Nelphean. " So...you use adjectives to make Ecara more than what she is? To make her better without changing her?" A fanged smile. "It's nice."


She shook her head at Saradin and smiled, then hugged him breifly before she stood. "Gotta break walls before I can fight what's behind them." Aura then walked over to stand next to Cymarron. "Thank you. As long as I know she's okay...I guess I can take solace in that." Turning she gave a smile to them both, then a nod and simply left their presence.

Eclipse merely gave a snort to them all. "Bidpeds..."


((Forced exit, it's important))

"Well said, Ecara. Well said." The elf smiled at her, and leaned against the wall. He sighed. He really didn't have a hope in the world, but at least he had good company.

Ecara watched him then followed suit, leaning back against the wall. She checked him out a few times and then took to mimicking his position perfectly." Nelphean sighs a lot....why do you sigh a lot?"



Aura sat on the floor in a cross legged position, just staring at the fire. She took a deep breath, closing her eyes. "I'm still scared."

It's alright letting yourself go, as long as you can get yourself back. You can do that...and we'll all be here to help if you drift to far."

She gave a nod and let her eyes shut. As she had stated the proverbial crumbling of the floor around her feet just couldn't be ignored any longer. Those who could pull her back...stood on that same ground. If they were going to help her, she was going to have to help them. That way they all made it to solid safe ground.

He paced around behind her, watching her. Aurahkah followed a similar road to Saradin, and perhaps even this new Nelphean. They all had to give in to let go. They thought they were strong because they could hold on, but he knew that their true strength lay in letting go.

Aura let out the breath she had been holding and let all of her mental barriers down. Every defense mechanism, every facade she had to front. Aura was letting herself be exposed....the woman who was really nothing but scared and full of worry. Let her darkness in, let others in...and conquer them all. Aura hated uphill battles when she wasn't the one on the hill.

Dobbs stood over Merre's still form watching her sleep. She was out like a light and it really didn't look like she was going to wake up anytime soon. A leering grin crossed his face. Perfect. He quickly and silently searched her room and found two bags. Opening the first he grinned. It was full of all kinds of goodies. Things he could sell off. Then he saw her clutching a bag in her fist. He bent down and carefully removed it from her grip. He was about to open it when she shifted and he saw the bracelet on her arm. It was made of gold with a huge sapphire on it and he knew he coudl fetch a pretty penny for it. He handed the bags to his daughter and she left. Then he slowly reached down and tried to get it off her wrist but he couldn't. He cursed softly and grabbed her wrist in his hand and tried to pry the bracelet off but it wouldn't move.

Niah jerked in her sleep. The nightmares were coming back and she as exhausted as she was had about reached her limit for the amount of sleep she was likely to get. She shifted once again and felt her bracelet pinch her wrist. She opened her eyes and saw Dobbs standing there. Before she could say anything he kicked her.


Dobbs saw her moving and quickly stepped back dropping her wrist. He was forced to think quickly of an excuse and using his boot he nudged her rather hard in the stomach. "Get yer lazy a** up! Come on b***h, wake up!"

Niah glared at him. "What the hell do you want?"

"Tis time for ye to go back to work missy. Now get yer lazy a** up or I'll kick ye agin." Dobbs sneered at her. "Ye didn't even do that much yesteerday and ye already wanna stay in bed. Ye got a debt to work off missy. Let's go!"

Niah rolled her eyes and stood wincing when her muscles protested. "What has to be done so early in this god forsaken establishment you call an inn?" she asked through clenched teeth.

"Why the customers need their breakfasts o' course." He said looking at her like she was daft. "An' some like to get themselves started with a nice cup o' whiskey. Some wench has te serve 'em an' ye'll do."

Niah glared at him. "Fine. Get out and I'll be down in a second." She waited until he left, closing the door behind him and then reached for her bag to get out a dress. Maybe she coudl alter it so that it met with his approval but didn't make her feel so lowly. She cursed when she couldn't find her bag. Searching the room frantically she came up with nothing. She slapped a hand to her forehead and said "I've been robbed." Then she narrowed her eyes and looked at her closed door. "Dammit. Dobbs."

"Yes, Ecara..." Nelphean allowed her to lead, and continued to smile. When the room came upon them, Nelphean looked at the two sombre figures, and softly said, "Alas, were are the drained." He let go of Ecara's hand, assuming she wanted to hug or hold her mother.
