Omg, chaptire love. So much angst. I wonder if Syaoran has the same weakness for liquor...
And no spoiler warnings are necessary here. This is the thread for it. =3
I really really really dislike the Syaoran and Syaoran paralleling CLAMP keeps doing. >> I worry they're just going to replace C!Syaoran, in the end.
That'd make me sad.

The splash page looks a bit like a Chobits poster that has Chii, Dita and Jima in a rather gothic room.
So much angst! And what a strange time to drink alcohol.
It's strange what Sakura thinks about Syaoran. The original reminds her of the clone... but she says that's no good...

My thoughts on chappy 140:
*swoon* Waaaah~ Kuro-chaaaaan~ eek burning_eyes ...wow. I'm SUCH a fangirl. Haha...Daddy's spending some quality time with Syaoran-kun...that's so cute... whee And Fay-mommy proves ONCE AGAIN how very much of a maternal figure(for lack of better words) he is to the group (namely Sakura-chan). heart
And most importantly:
eek *gaspeth!* ......'tis...'tis...ASHYRU-M'OH!!!!! xd 4laugh mrgreen heart

Also, it might have been the translation I read, but Kurogane called C!Syaoran "Syaoran-kun". o.o! He always calls everyone by either "Kid" "White Manjuu" "Princess" or "That guy" (Lol)

It's been this way for most of the manga... Kurogane being a mentor to Syaoran, and Fay tending to Sakura... but it definitely seems more pronounced in recent chapters. It seems they want to make the parallels between Syaoran and Kurogane, and Sakura and Fay, very clear. Particularly with that comment Kurogane recently made, about Fay and Sakura being the same type of person. I find it very interesting.

This latest chapter annoyed me a little too though. I'm going to assume this isn't spoiling anything for you guys (you all seem up to date)
In chapter 140 for the first time in like 15 chapters we finally got a little happy moment with the Mokona and Kuro drinking spat. So at that point I'm thinking 'yay, there is still hope' but then it goes all ultra goolm and doom with Sakura's speach. Then as if it wasn't killing the fun enough we get Fye's greatest fear on a roll. That erases chances of happyness I'd guess for a least another 15 chapters.
